this is good but her stuff over the last few years is better. her set in the last 3 years has gotten tighter with improved execution and timing. i encourage you to watch her more recent sets if you haven't seen them. Netflix special, and her work in the UK. very talented

My dad is 65 and white and Im 25 and look Indian so when we went to India together as just the two of us everyone assumed we were a couple rather than father and daughter... there were a lot of awkward questions and the relief on people’s faces when we clarified was always there

I love when ppl can make fun of their own children. It feels so authentic and makes me feel like we are all human. But at the same time I hope these are good parents.
That's called humble brag. Parents do it all the times. They complained about their children while actually bragging how smart and cute their kids are.
Don't really care as long as they parent these kids right. Brag about them all day long if you want. Just make sure they're growing up with great moral and great personalities.
I've never heard of this woman before... Sirius XM seems to play a lot of the same comedians again and again, so I'm always happy to hear from someone I'm unfamiliar with. She's a bit of a strange mix of cultures... an Irish French-speaking Canadian that lives in London.
And for anyone that's curious, what she says at the beginning of the video is "C'est vrai, je suis née ici," which means "It's true, I was born here." Just For Laughs is hosted in Canada (Montreal to be more specific).
She's from Sarnia originaly. (That's Southern Canada and not inside a wardrobe...that's Narnia) ;)
Shes based in the UK, she has been all over our TV for years, not complaining, I like her.
She does really well in the UK. It was a good career move for her, the comedy scene in england is one of the best in the world. She's very deserving of it too, brilliant stand up.

I like her. Very honest and no shame about talking about the hard stuff. Recently, I have been fighting with myself about why women feel the need to have children, keep have to fight with myself over I'm not going to have children even if I eventually find sb I love. I've seen my parents fight for the longest time until I know, enough. Way more than enough.
In fact I know for a fact (although I dont want to ask again) my mom was knocked up accidentally with me the last time. Even my dad fooled around still while she was heavily pregnant and she had to show herself to 'ward' off the other women, when clearly it's the man's fault.
Also, the entire time while pregnant, my mom begged my dad to get a washer bec she couldnt wash clothes in that state, he refused and now she has a uterine problem. And my mom brings it up nearly every time they argue - all the time.
So I know, having children shouldnt be confuddled with wanting to have children with sb u love (love each other), with wanting them (or doing it) so that the person u love can stick with you (possess or keep)
Gotta love her, she speaks the truth, that not everyone wants to hear and is actually a good example that divorce is not necessarily bad, that sometimes problems only come after you have kids and that's fine. :)
