You can't believe how much this video helped me. Within all this time on my self improvement journey I haven't found a video like this one. I tried to change the way I am which just made me mostly unhappy and destroyed a little of my uniqueness. It now feels like the other self improvement channels are telling you to work against yourself, while you talk about working with yourself. Thank you very much, I'm so glad I found this channel

This is such beautiful advice. I definitely feel and have felt that I'm "too weird for hot people" as you say. You're touching on everything here- "gurus" exploiting our insecurities, owning our "refined frequency," becoming leaders in our niche. This is truly the dating path for those of us who have something more, something non-average, to offer the world. Thanks for speaking truth for a lot of guys and gals out there, myself included, who need to hear it! 💜

Never settle, the relationship should be meaningful and quite complimentary compatible of two relatively abundant individuals independently secure of their lives.

I always used the metaphor of a movie. Big blockbusters are meant to hit a wide audience, but many of them don't have much depth or complexity (but there are of course exceptions, like Nolan films). Art house movies have a much smaller audience, but people who love these movies REALLY love them.
It really comes down to confidently owning who you are, whatever kind of movie that is. But overall there are some truths that run across all genres. Security and confidence in oneself is pretty much always attractive, while insecurity and neediness is pretty much always unattractive.
There are many forms of security though. Financial security, emotional security, physical security, social security, intellectual security... these different types of security will be attractive to different people.
Basically it's about figuring out who you are (your core values) and living that, while also working to overcome insecurities.

As you reach higher and higher levels of consciousness, your pool of potential mates gets smaller and smaller. But also the depth of love, truth, and beauty possible between you and your eventual mate becomes greater and greater. (Just something to take heart in if you, like me, can relate to this vid.)

I just feel that the more spiritual you are, the more difficult it is to find a partner. Like attracts like. People typically want someone on their level. As you raise your vibration higher and higher above the norm, you have less and less choices for a partner on your level. That's just a sacrifice that comes with deeper spirituality. I feel you are a deeply spiritual person, which is why finding a partner has been difficult for you. With that being said, you made some good comments on putting yourself out there in the right places to meet your vibrational match. I found a long-term partner for me at a Buddhist Retreat. I also agree that when the time is right, the Universe will bring the right partner in your life. The time is right when you have learned the lessons you need to learn in preparation for the relationship. You are not waiting on the Universe to learn these lessons, the Universe is waiting for you.

That's the worst way to find someone, you wanna just have a side chick that will vibe with you sometimes. The harder and longer you vibe the more she's gonna regret it later on (see female hypergamy and briffaults law/ hot-crazy matrix.)

I found that dating in the US was super challenging, primarily due to the culture and expectations of western men and women. All of the 'steps' that you mention are needed to find the right match, but it's exhausting. One thing that has worked very well for me is letting go of all of the little details that I used to require in a partner. I've become way more open to a partner that is not like myself at all and it really helps. I've been living in Thailand for the past several years and have found the dating here to be exceptional. The women are simple, and feminine and just want to hang out, be loved, and enjoy the day-to-day. I'd have a very difficult time going back to the US and dating a western woman. The femininity has evaporated, which I love most. Thanks for sharing Luke!! Always inspiring my brother

Hey Shane! I appreciate your comment and hearing your thoughts! Awesome, glad you are very happy with your dating life in Thailand! Good thoughts about increasing openness. It's a great question what one wants in a partner. I'm still figuring out exactly what that is for myself. I think one aspect for me is some shared mental connection (a woman who enjoys thinking about spirituality for example). Thanks for sharing your perspective Shane!

The moment one decides to take the high road in life is the moment when 90% of “potential” partners just evaporate as possibilities in their eyes because those people really are not for them. So yeah, that road will be tough, quite frustrating at times and the further you go on it the more appealing the temptations will be. That's why when those bad times hit remember your goal, envision yourself as you succeeded in reaching it. Relish in that feeling. It will help tremendously to move on and not fall into temptation, whatever that may be. This works even when dealing with addiction.
Also, remember that each step taken on this high road means you're one step closer to your goal.
I wish for all those in the community light for guidance, peace to percieve it and strength of character and honour to follow it.
