Scotland 2019 - EP 04 - Isles of Mull, Staffa, Lunga and Iona | Fingal’s Cave & lots of puffins

From Oban we take the ferry to the Isle of Mull. We are booked on a 12 hour Wildlife Tour that takes us to the pretty little fishing village of Tobermory with it's colourful buildings along the harbour front. Here we board a small catamaran boat. Our first stop is the Isle of Staffa to see the famous Fingal’s Cave which was caused by a volcanic eruption 60 million years ago. After another 20 minute boat ride we get to Lunga Island, where we have 2 full hours to see the cute puffins and other birds. The next day we visit Iona Island to see the famous Abbey. It dates back to the year 1204 AD and it's one of the oldest Christian religious centres in Western Europe.
