I used to go to Calgary bay as a child 🤍 I’m now 20 and haven’t been for years, you guys are so sweet and I felt like I was travelling with you in that cozy camper van! Thank you so much for the beautiful video ❤️ Isle of Mull is truly a hidden treasure ❤️
How lovely! We're spending a fortnight on Mull this summer so we're starting our research. This is a nice way to begin! The Staffin/Lunga trip is firmly on our 'to do' list!
I've not checked the full video yet but I have a good recommendation. There's a island that you get a small boat (takes like 5 minutes) to a place called ulva. It's got a seafood cafe there's some local history in a little farmhouse. It's got a nice walk as well that leads to these amazing gardens It's awesome!
Brilliant! Was at Uisken yesterday where the beaches are outstanding. Just off the road above Suidhe there is a fascinating deserted village worth exploring.
Beautiful. Refreshed my memories of Calgary bay beach, Staffa, and the Threshnish Isles. Puffins and rabbits galore. Thanks for the memories, few more weeks in Las Vegas and I'm off wandering on ventures anew. Such a lovely production. You guys are made for each other. Many thanks.
Nobody bothered about Duart when I lived on Mull. Sir Charles MacLean and Lady MacLean had a garden party every year, that was about it. 1965 to 1972. We lived in The Old Manse, beside Loch Uisg, you would pass it on the way to Lochbuie. Will you discover Laggan beach I wonder?
You are both beautiful, your enthusiasm is refreshing, uplifting, lovely video, thanks so much. Mull looks so gorgeous and you showed us so much of it. 😍😍😍
Just beautiful. Thanks for your video, it was really informative. In which month did you go? We are planning to go and it would be useful to know the best period.
Hi guys I'm super excited to be going to Mull for a explore... Currently on isle of skye but will be heading to mull by the weekend. Great video, and a sincere, Thank you for sharing X Great sense of humour 👌
@@walkingwithnature3767there is an Ospray Platform by the castle I've seen it with my own eyes I don't know if it has been used yet. If you look up Osprey on Mull you will see multiple recent photos and reports. I respectfully stand by the bird in this video being an Opsrey!
@GreenGaslight that's good that they're now trying to encourage Ospreys to the island. They weren't when I lived there 4 years ago. But I'm a professional ornithologist so can say for definite it's a Common Buzzard, the colourations are similar though
Wow mull looks soo beautiful and that’s amazing the price to take the van will love to go and see this 💕💕💕💕 Love the camping spot by the beach 💙💙💙 the waterfalls 😍😍😍 Wow I love the art place ♥️ This vlog is so truly beautiful 😍
2 70 yr old women are we going to Mull and Iona first weeks in October without a car. Hoping to find our way walking and public transport. Any suggestions?
My family stay on Iona every year for 2-3 weeks as relatives are from there and I just love seeing people meandering around the island ❤❤ Btw the pronunciation of Finophort is actually much easier than what you would think it’s just Fin-O-Fort
What month were you there? We are coming this summer and are wondering what the climate will be like? We have heard a mixture of things: Chilly/layer up, rainy, sunny, hot (80 degrees?), midges, etc.
No feedback video but we’re still using it and would never go back to the chemical toilet! It’s so much easier and cleaner to deal with and honestly doesn’t smell, as long as you don’t fill it up or leave it too long!
Hi, We are heading up to Scotland in just over a week! Wet have Heard that m is great for Whale Watching? We are going on a van also but that doesn’t look to be much availability at campsites. Did you find it easy to find places to pick up on the roadside etc.?
It’s supposed to be brilliant for whale watching but we were too early for them. There’s lots of campsites where you can just turn up and pay £5/10 into a box so I don’t think you’ll have too many issues finding a place to park. You can wild camp too but not everywhere, but you’ll see a cluster of motorhomes in the areas where it seems to be tolerated. That uisken beach place we loved was just a turn up and pay place too!
So beautiful. Jake really does take the dreamiest shots! Love the little map dots, and your super cute braid pig tails. THAT COW!!! soooooo cool, I would have been trying to cuddle it ahha
Was being totally serious! :) you sound like a great laugh! we really enjoyed the insightful and entertaining comment 😊 thanks again! Also, really sorry that what we choose to eat touched a nerve for you! Don’t worry too much about what others are going and try to take care of your own well-being ☺️

Calgary Bay was indeed beautiful! We enjoyed driving out there while we were on Mull in May.
Thank you - this is a very useful guide to a place I'm hoping to visit soon for the first time
Great to hear! Thanks for watching :)

Thank you Susanne! 😊
Thank you sooo much for this video I’m planning a trip myself for may 2024 and you’ve helped me with some research etc :)
Glad it helped, hope you have a great trip!
We were there in May of this year too. What dates did you go?

Thanks for this. We are planning to stay in oban. Hoping to go to Tobarmory and calgary bay for a day.
It's well worth it! Drive around the whole island and stop everywhere that allows it, you'll have and you'll have a wonderful time.
In Mull now on holiday, it's beautiful. Going to Ulva tomorrow on the ferry.
Ah hope you’ve been having a wonderful trip! We would love to go back and see more of the islands!

We went in spring which was lovely, but still quite chilly some days!
If you come to the Isle of Bute, I'll personally take you to see the otters! :) Great video as always guys, keep it up!
Ahh thank you! We would love that. Off on a year trip round Europe now but will be back in Scotland after all that 😀
I recently found out some of my ancestors Lachlan Mor Maclean was born in Duart Castle. He was the 14th Chief of Clan Maclean.
Great video love it want to go to island mull Where is the best place to book that is a very good price for two of you and the campervan
Uisken beach was the best spot for us!
Where did you book it?
if you travel down to Fidden there is a free camp site which allows camper vans.
Literally at Uisken whilst watching this
No way! Ah we loved that spot, go around to see some of the other coves if you haven’t yet 😃

Good luck with the weather! Hope you have a fantastic trip ☺️
Great video but the last Eagle wasn't an Eagle, it was an Osprey. A very nice bird indeed!
It was a Buzzard just so you know. No Ospreys on Mull
