Scotland 2019 - EP 05 - Kilchurn Castle to Eilean Donan Castle

Next stop on our fabulous journey through Scotland is the Kilchurn Castle. It's a superb photo spot to see the reflection of the castle at sunrise. Afterwards we drive through the heart of the Scottish Highlands - a beautiful but rough landscape. You can easily imagine the brutal fights amongst the Scottish clans during the middle ages.
The valley and mountains near Glencoe are known as the Outdoor Capital of the UK - perfect to do some hiking. Just north of Glencoe we visit Neptune's Staircase and the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct.
We continue to Mallaig where we want to get a ferry over to the Isle of Skye. Unfortunately all ferries are fully booked so we have to drive the long way around. No problem! Because this way we get to see the 'impossibly picturesque' Eilean Donan Castle.
