I was in Cornwall years ago and got the shock of my life when a Puffin flew past me at about shoulder height carrying sand eels in its beak, its little wings flapping ten to the dozen trying to keep flying, I shall never forget that moment, truly a spectacular bird.

Wow, that's incredible! We’re still hoping to catch a glimpse of one ourselves someday, fingers crossed!

You live in such a beautiful country, it'd be hard to not enjoy it! We're glad you enjoyed watching and we'll definitely be visiting again in hopes to see some puffins next time 🙏

It's unfortunate you didn't get to see the Puffins close up. I live 2 hours away from Oban and am currently planning to go do this trip in May with my Girlfriend. Like you guys, we've wanted to go see Puffins for years, so hopefully we'll get lucky. If not, it doesn't hurt to go see some more of our beautiful country. Just back today from Loch Fyne and went to a place called Pucks Glen. Look it up. Fairy tale walk with countless waterfalls and gorgeous greenery. Worth checking out if you ever visit again.

I hope there are thousands of puffins there for you! You’re right though, I could never get tired of the views there. Thanks for the great tip, I’ve never heard of Loch Fyne. We’ll be back in June so we’ll add it to the list!

I have been there to see the puffins they are so cute. We sailed from the island that my mum comes from. She is from the island of Coll which is the island between Mull and Tiree. Such gorgeous scenery there I always love visiting.

That’s what the tour operator said too, but sadly we couldn’t go there due to the bird flu.

Enjoying your Scotland vlogs looks like I have some bingeing to do. There are no Tour guides because you are just using Public transport

I loved this video too, Guys..... Firstly - puffins.... If you are on Mull, Turus Mara do a fabulous tour leaving from Ulva pier on the south side of Mull, to the Treshnish Islands, where they stop on the Isle of Lungha, where you can (and we have) sit amongst a puffin colony and have a picnic. It is absolutely amazing. And for Andrew, this tour also takes in Staffa and Fingal's cave.
I laughed my head off at you waiting for the bus in Tobermoray.
It's pretty informal, but the drivers are universally excellent. They sort of park randomly in the car park, but they make absolutely sure they get everyone who needs to catch the Ferry. Important right? It looked like the you found the default activity for waiting for the bus - a pint from McGochans pub by the car park. Someone has to do it, I guess :) Another annual stop for our family when we visit Oban. Wonderful video. Can't wait for next spring

Thank you for the amazing tip! That sounds incredible. Picnics with the puffins is now officially on Megan’s bucket-list for next summer.
Informal is a great word for it. But you’re right, they are excellent. All of the public transport in Scotland has been excellent!
Thanks for enjoying the adventure with us! Spring is just around the corner, enjoy your time there!

@@AndrewandMegan A pleasure, guys. For what its worth, at £7.60 return for 2 hours of cruising in the utterly stunning Sound of Mull, the ferry from Oban to Mull has to be about the best value sea excursion that money can buy. Hope you found it so too.
A youtuber called Steve Marsh is one of a number of excellent creators that spend time touring Scotland. Recommend a leisurely tour of his channel if you intend to return.

It's okay! It was still an enjoyable experience! And just like Megan said in the video, even though we didn't get to see the Puffins close up or on land, that's simply part of visiting animals in their natural habitat. We'll just have to come visit next year when it's rainy and gloomy ha
