I like this kind of games its make ppl realise how important team work is
wat i love about this game is that players HAVE to work as a team to be successful its not like to many other shooting games where as soon as the match begins its every man for himself. this game is realistic. They stay together and follow orders to accomplish missions
I dont play this game, A mate sent me the link. I just got drawn in by the team work. Games like this is what makes online war/battle games amazing. Great stuff

Amazing game and good video content to...I have been in 2 days of watching a few videos have decided to buy this DLC!!!!!
It's fairly easy, generally joining a regiment is always the best way to play NW, and from they will teach you how to play and what their tactics are, and you can have massive battle (like this one) against other regiments.

77y are one of the best regiments in NW.
You're one of the only generals I know that get involved in the fighting
Can't wait until mods like Star Wars: Conquest are ported to Warband. That would make for some awesome multiplayer

Ya there is around 3 or 4 public servers that have over 70 and some even have 200 alot and about 150+ until after about 10pm est
This game looks good, and I'm certainly getting it and applying for 77y, but surely the game would be more tense and exciting if Defenders and Attackers alike only have one life, but there were more Attackers.
I love love love the mount and blade series if only this had the single player option I would have picked it up def but as it stands this does look fun but I enjoy on single player so much

last time I check Napoleonic wars didn't have a single player option like warband and fire and sword...does it?

up until Rifled muskets started appearing, then you had a tremendous increase in accuracy but still, the tactics were in their heads for the last several hundreds of years since the first smoothbores, they even used line-charges in WW1 and because of the dead-eye accuracy of rifles (compared to the smoothbores of 200-300 years before that) and the first machine guns they dug in. Still, with 50 meter with a smoothbore you'd have to be dam lucky to shoot a target dead-center...
Yeah this looks amazing.. I will definitly buy it after I get my new pc :)

If you were alive during that era, and you saw a smoothbore musket, you'd think it was the coolest thing ever given the technology of the time :')

Well the mod for the originial M&B isn't even finished yet. They said after this version is done, they'll turn to a Warband version.

These are all commanded buy players but you need to find a good regiment to get these numbers :)

Through training I suppose. Most regiments do weekly training for formations etc

I love this fun round.
I downloaded M&B full pack (with Warband and Fire&Sword) from the Steam cloud, no disk required. Not sure if you have to get Warband on disk if you just want the one. Although the original and F&S are pretty damn good as well.
it's all about organisation. :)
Prefferably, join a line regiment, and buy a microphone, and when they organise a battle with someone else, join the ventrillo or teamspeak server they are on. good fun.

hey malakith i loved the video and was wondering if there is any cannon "groups" in the 77y? Ive never played mount and blade but these large scale games look like fun.

Watching these battles is alot of fun, and I'm really imppressed by Malakith tacical abilities. Watching these caused me to buy the game, but it is ALOT harder to play, than it looks...lol. I wonder if they have drilling session for newbies to learn, or do you jump right in?!?

The black screen of doom is at about 37 minutes, there's still audio though which is odd...
that symbol above everyones head reminds me of the Palaliogos symbol which is a dynasty in the Byzantine Empire

hey man i really love these vids, im a big total war guy but this game looks great and you really get into the battle, any advice for things i need for this game i have steam installed just wonder if theres anything to consider before i buy it?

About the officers being the first in a line, doesn't it seem slightly impratical they're in that position. Yes I know that is widely accepted for the leader to be first but if the enemy is positioned well enough, wouldn't enough officers die for the rest of the men in the lines to become disorganized and be obilterated. I'm just curious.
what classes are there and could you do a rundown of each one and discribe weapons,job and have gameplay with each? please?

why are the defenders getting up on the walls to respond fire if the attackers have unlimmited lifes and they only have to wait untill the timer runs out?

Hey I saw a recruitment video on one of your video's ( or maybe the one of a fellow clan member ) Either way I bought the game to be in the unit, and on your clan website it says the recruitment is open, yet I cant access it ( yes, I did register and I have a account on the forum ) Is recruitment over ? Did I buy the game for nothing ? Or do I need to access recruitment elsewhere then on the forum ?

do you know what if i could play as an commander or something that directs soldiers i can be very good because i usually play strategy games that involve real physics and because of that i know many places where you can hdie or defende well on any map just by looking for the first time
Is there a bunch of rules you should play by which were made up by the armies fighting eachother? Otherwise you could get way more tactical in flanking, spreading out etc... or is it just to re-enact what used to be real life?
hmm but i can use the CD-KEY in steam and it will act as a product activation.
and how hard is the melee system? or i will run out of buttons on the controller?
so are the defenders just supposed to defend the area until the round ends? and the attackers have the round to try and take over the defended area?

They should do like the Total War games do, leave the corpses until match is over, but with unlimited respawns it'll probably fuck up the server after a while.
But with no respawns, like if you die you'll just have to watch, it would be an awesome feature : )
During the defense the 91st kicked some serious ass.

I like that you got good battle plans, but why are you going like in lines of 5-10? Why don't you just have a meeting point?

I-m thinking on buying mount and blades with all expansions, do people still do these things?
There is still a bug, if you are reloading and you are almost done but suddenly it get canceled by somone who is firing at you. Then the next time you press reload it is "sometimes" a instant reload ^^.
As for hacker, i have never seen a hacker in mount and blade, at least not in multiplayer.
