Just like to tell anyone looking to join 63e after this, don't expect the average Line battle to be like this. This was a special event in which we were a long range four rank line. Typically we don't use two ranked lines, nonetheless four. Your average LB will be closer, and the majority of the kills are from melee. Don't even get me started when you're doing a 30 minute long LB and your the first to die. Its fun as hell, but we pride ourselves as one of, if not the most disciplined regiment. We expect alot of commitment.

It's always nice to know someone who isn't in the generation with videogame sweeping the culture is able to identify times have changed and can appreciate a video game like this. Most would dismiss this as an unproductive use of our time but times are in fact changing and kids and developing their creative sides in new exciting ways.

I haven't been in a line battle in almost a year. Good times. I remember running into the 63e a few times during events, on both sides. One of my old regiments merged with them.
I remember being part of the 15e regiment! This was so much fun. Too bad though I could not stay with them due to school. But I remember it being amazing.

I've yet to actually have a go at a proper line battle, I've been in with an arty regiment so far. I might have to gatecrash in with you sometime Phly!

Lol, there's a reason they didn't have four ranks IRL.
1. An extra-layer to co-ordinate.
2. 4 ranks meant more deaths from enemy cannon
3. Not as wide as 3 ranks

The reason he did that was because he was new to the game. He was pretty young here too. I play with him sometimes and he seems better now but yeah it is pretty funny lmao.

I remmeber the days I played this.When I was in a Line Battle Server,here are the conversations:
(Admin)-You got three minutes to do lines.
(Everyone runs around like a crazy man and push their friendlies out of their line.)
(Admin)-Lines look horrible.Go ahead...
Five minutes later,everything turned into a Free For All Match.Those old dang days...

Yo Phly i hope you will read this. If you hold cedilla key (the key left of 1 on the keyboard) it allows you to look around without moving your characters direction.

The idea is, you have an idle line crouched behind, the firing one, then when the left side of the firing line starts making it's way, down to the rights side, the idle line behind it it, start standing and presenting, left to right while the fire line in front, is finishing, it's firing sequence, giving the idle line chance to start it's firing sequence, straight away, and firing after the fire line has finished straight, away with no interuptions, and while fire line, start's crouching left to right, this make's, the line's more deadly this way, and you get a constant, near automatic, barrage of fire, like a Gatling/machine gun.

I'm new to Napoleonic wars, and i want some laid back gaming without regiments and stuff, but all games seem to require the passcode or whatever. how do i play some fun, one-time games without regiments?
None of the servers should have passwords? there are lots of siege servers with no regiments etc, Add my steam if you need help finding servers.
