I've been looking at pictures of genuine old muskets and the reproduction versions of the ones used in Napoleonic Wars and I have to say that I'm really impressed with this game, they have actually bothered to make the little graphic details of each nation's muskets just right. I really respect that.

modern day weapons give you an almost absolute certainty of hitting a target, that is why modern tactics involve small squads of men moving about ruins - because about 1813, maximum chance of hitting a target at 30metres is about 1/3 weaponwise, today it is 1/1 weaponwise (the skill of the shooter is shown much in modern warfare)

at this time period, the average musket (what these guys use) at the range they fire would have about a 1/20 chance of hitting it's target, forming line 20 across means that u can let of way more fire power than if you formed a skirmish line, skirmish lines were only used by men who specialised in marksmanship - historically these would be British Rangers, American Long Rifles, French Cour de Bois and Spanish Guerilla
When the cannon blew up the wall on the right side of the gate the game bugged and teleported several people through the map into water. Also some people (me and another guy) got disconnected by it too. :P
I lost it when you ordered them to shoot a rocket up that TK's arse and Lt. Gaz did not hesitate

hey MalakithSkadi one tip 4 u, before you make a LP: C:/Programms(x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/MountBlade Warband/Data/Font_Data... and then change the Font_Size into for example 118 (before 70) so the chat and kill count isnt as annoying!

Hey Mal - Why don't you ever use a small squad of rocket troops during the main battle? I'm sure a small unit of 5 or so wouldn't throw off the balance too badly.

I was wondering if my laptop could run this game smoothly or other games with the same graphics and all that. My specs are... Processor: AMD E-450 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 1.65 GHz. Not to say your shooting is horrible, but don't you think you should aim a bit higher with bullet drop? (Sorry if that came out offensive, it wasn't meant to be. This is just a suggestion, I've never played this game so I have no real accurate idea of the bullet drop :)

DeDe Man It is the Napoleonic Wars DLC (Yes you have to pay for it) and you can't "just join" the server you need to be a part of a regiment

DeDe Man It is on Steam, go to "Mount & Blade: Warband" and look inside it under the DLC section.You will have played on Public servers before, these events are in Private servers.

Before I say anything, I'd like to say thanks to the troops. But really, did you not learn the difference between 2013 and 1813 in basic? I suppose you think officers should stay back and communicate by radio too. It just doesn't work that way. These are historical tactics for people who care about preserving the past. If you want to see modern tactics, type "Arma 2" in the search bar. As for now, you shouldn't keep up this argument, the Napoleonic wars are obviously NOT your area of expertise.
