But it's true he looks a bit like the likeable friend that went through great unfairness like loosing a loved wife from her cheating on him. He looks kind and a great friend to have. I have zero ranking in Chess and don't understand why he let his knight getting trapped and moved his King instead of playing a fork with the knight checkmate and take the H pawn. Am i missing something ?

Because that would be a complete waste of time in this position, as winning from here is a simple affair. It would almost be insulting to keep playing after this point.

If white takes the pawn, black king moves to e7 and traps the knight, so white is making a big blunder.

For 60 or so moves, the game was equal... then couple of poor moves, and one loses. Magnus gets all these "equal" positions right and winning.
