The second game was intense! Well played Nemo. And kudos to Vishy for doing this!
Hi Sagar 😂
Sagar Shah OP in the chat. Say hi to Samay and tell him to get in the gym.
Waiting for Sagar Shah commentary on this
Vishy gave her hints midway through otherwise Vishy wins easily.
Vishy is the best! 🥰 Thank you
Big respect Nemo and Vishy. Taking the game very seriously. Vishy is clearly considering Nemo as a good player, which is of course the case.
considering??? She is a good player !!!!! WGM title holders are better than 99.9.... % chess players in the world
@@mlloser8318 I should have said this. She is a good player of course ! Did I say the contrary ?
But she is playing a former world champion @@mlloser8318
@@mlloser8318there are some news saying she bought that title by asking players to lose for money
@@mlloser8318it’s about who is in front of. You do know samay beat nemo twice . She has been defeated several times by untitled players. While vishy is a 2700+ sgm . He can beat nemo without both knights .
Nemo trying to flag the lightning kid is a bold move.
The fact that Anand is in 11th place in the FIDE ranking in his 50s is really mind-blowing!
The man is such an inspiration :)
The record belongs to Vassili Smyslov who was ranked 9th at age 63 years. Still in todays context when the world championship challenger is only 17 years old, it is indeed amazing. Anand is the only player above 50 years in the top 50 and there are only 4 players above 50 years in the top 100, as of today.
@@meshrath thnx for info i learnt something new
@@meshrath Exactly. I had heard of Smyslov too. No doubt his record is also super impressive. But as you mentioned, considering the level of competition and the required work and preparation to stay on top these days, I think what Anand has achieved is quite unique.
Chessplayers used to play to their dying days, now with computer anlysis they quit early
Before the Elo system I suspect Lasker was a top contender into he was over 70 years of age@@meshrath
Playing the LEGEND and one of the GOATs himself !!! He is a rare sociable gentleman in today's world !!!
Gentleman is right. He was known for focusing on the game itself rather than playing mindgames and shit like what Kasparov did with the door slamming
@@bmno.4565in India, he is an excellent mentor to all the emerging chess grandmasters and younger gen . Absolute class and legend
"I'm hanging in there, but you're dangerous!" sure he's winning, but that's a hell of a compliment to get from a former world champ and chess legend.
Nemo : I try to flag people
Vishy: haven't you seen my match against Hikaru?
Bro knew she can't flag the lightning kid
@@GMPranav Is this really Pranav
@@seya_2 If you are talking about Grandmaster Pranav V, then I am not him
@@GMPranav I thought you were 🥲
@@GMPranav are you gm pranav anand
He learned to play chess from his mother when he was six years old. By the time he was 14, he had won the Indian National Sub-Junior Championship with a perfect score of nine wins in nine games.
He is an Indian chess grandmaster, a former five-time World Chess Champion and a record two-time Chess World Cup Champion. He became the first grandmaster from India in 1988, and he has the eighth-highest peak FIDE rating of all time.
people watching this video did not know he was Indian even after look at flag,
thanks for telling that important information, you saved the planet
@@Lalit02Dhanwani why so salty
@@Lalit02Dhanwani why you crying tho
@@V4I8HAV_ because i have to pay for your smile.
Why people in the comments are introducing him again and again? Everyone knows him bro. Why you all don't introduce magnus or hikaru everytime?
it's the part where he is able to tell you how you could have beaten him, and you probably didn't see it.
Vishy is *almost* 55 years of age and has a classical rating of 2750+. Unimaginable in modern day chess !!!
4:10 'Feeling is mutual which is usually why I try to do the mating'😂😂😂😂 wdym
Yoo😂😂
That was an absolute pleasure to watch. Thanks for this gift. It was fun to see Vishy in action and you almost had him the 2nd game!
Yooo Gauri!!
Gentleman Vishwanath 💝 and BEAUTIFUL Nemo❤
if vishy has to think for more than 10 seconds, you have played great. well done nemo
He was talking. So he didn't move. He would still move fast and calculate winning moves in the end at the age of ,55. That's vishy for u
Anand is an autodidact. For someone who grew up in a country that had no chess system or academy like the US and Russia in the 70s his story is truly remarkable. Today all chess playing country's have chess academy's including India so todays gen is very lucky. Anand learnt mainly from books as a youngster.
That's why we say that resurgence of chess in India is only bcoz of Anand !
Ironically, chess was invented in India
@@SG-rl3gx Yes. But only became a competitive game when it went to Europe. In India it was played either for leisure or to hone ones battle strategy skills. The rules and layout then were slightly different.
he had access to to a club. I'm not sure if it was the soviet era club where he had access to Tal's games
@@vetiarvind Really? How old was he then? What year? Either way at a chess club amateurs and maybe some pros usually play chess. Its not a professional training ground like an academy. Since he was Asia's first World Champion and Indias first chess grandmaster i dont see him learning from any world champions. And access to Tals games means through books not by training. Compare that to Kasparov who lived at a proper chess academy and was trained by former world champion.
Vishy is absolutely one of my favorite chess personalities. Always a gentleman yet with fantastic tactical acumen.
I love Anand, he is so kind (the persona I don't know him)
Imo Anand is on the Mount Rushmore of chess in terms of strength. Really nice of him to do this.
Something tells me he would not have forgiven himself if she got a draw against him.
He is such calm, composed and thoughtful with the answers 😊 No hyper excitement, no controversy ever. Just a pure Gem of a person 😊 And loved that background Music in tense moments 😅
He started showing the critical variation @7:00, an absolute treat to watch.
All I see is a great, knowledgeable and humble man
Vishy is not only a GREAT champion, but also a wonderful, gentle person. AND Nemo held her ground. Well played!
He is one of the goat of Chess
“Yes, I play casual blitz when I get together with old friends” - The guy is talking about LEVITOV CHESS WEEK!
Honestly I can watch this forever. Vishy playing casual chess has to be the best content of YT!
Vishy is so cool 😎
actually though 😎
I have the utmost respect for anyone who goes deep into the subject of their choice. Vishwanathan Sir breathes chess and his sheer love and dedication for the game even after so many years of playing it and being one of its greatest players is beyond commendable. Such passion for anything goes beyond any kind of materialism and is nothing less than meditation.
The way Vishy played the first game, he let the attack come in so much, that I would be sweating to see 2 rooks and a queen hovering near my king. We saw right through that attack that he will be able to defend it and come out on top. Really shows, that sometimes reacting passively to an opponent's threat is not a good option but a better might be a counterattack. Really great game.
Oh wow, awesome video format! The time format, the players, the banter, the editing, the audio quality, all outstanding! Made me feel like I was there playing with Nemo 👍
both matches were so close, nemo held her own. GG
Magnus said vishy has an unbelievable natural understanding of the game and it shows . His chess brain works so differently .just casual brilliance
Lovely video. Nice to see the post game analysis by Vishy Sir.
Very nice! I'm glad you discussed the importance of opening prep these days. I think a lot of older master level players are in denial about the importance of opening prep (to some degree) starting at the intermediate level.
These days, even at the amateur level is hard to play without opening prep. Amateurs might not understand all the moves they memorized but if they can lead their opponent into some trap or some other memorized line then its enough to win the game against a player of similar strength. I neglected this area of my game for many years and I'm sure it hindered my growth. These days I work on all aspects of the game and my rating is rising fast.
amazing,,,playing while conversing with the 5x world champ is far worth more than the result...keep it up!
Besides this game being interesting, I was amazed by the way it was shot with a cinematic system, it was extraordinary
Wow that second game you played very well! Congrats
You played with the Lagend of Indian Chess... The man who is still the face of chess in India... Many many congratulations Nemo❤

What do you mean "Indian" chess? 🤔
@@sandeeproy1327 Cause it originated from India
He was called the lightning kid!
Beware of old men in a profession where they die young - AC
Unless your name is Paul Morphy nobody dies young in chess 💀
damn crazy playing actual games vs vishy AND asking interesting questions at the same time
Former Five Time World Champion would have been more precise caption.
Great editing on this video! Look forward to seeing more content like this. ❤
3:28 could've said that without "old" lmao 💀
What do you mean?
She meant in the context of friends whom you know since a long time, not the y'all have lived too much to walk now kind of old😐
Stop virtue signaling. It is not only completely counter-productive, it is actually insulting to whomever you're virtue signaling for. Besides, Anand knows he's not the youngest anymore. Live long enough and, well, you realize that, well... you age. If you haven't come to accept the fact that people age and do just get older, well, that's a _you_ problem. Stop bothering other people with that _you_ problem and just seek help with solving that _you_ problem. Thanks, have a nice day and, well, enjoy growing older like the rest of us.
@@xfKYZacTriit wasn’t all virtue signaling. It’s just a social norm . Explicitly saying mentioning someone by calling them old is generally considered rude
what is this debate here even about? she meant 'old friends' as in that they've been friends for a long time, not that they're old. You can be 25 and have old friends that are also 25 if you've been friends with them since you were 4
No BS! Classy quality content. Kudos! The games were really intense and captivating.
enjoyed that thanks a lot for posting! Amazing play as well
Very impressed with Nemo. You held your own brilliantly against the legend. I don't know what would have happened if the time scramble hadn't hit you in the end.
A draw or a blunder.
If it was classical she would lose badly
Super high quality video she definitely deserves 1 million subs. Thanks for this video ❤❤
4:17 in any other environment that conversation will go straight to HR
Same at 15:20 🙂
Wow very nice video, cool editing and bg music, ofcourse interesting chess
I know how nemo is on her streams, and i absolutely love her, yet the poise she maintains around vishy says a lot about vishy. he might have an amazing aura for that to happen.
What a lovely video😊
Such a nice interaction
Great games
Guess you wasted too much time trying to milk the d6 weakness
What a humble man
I have no words when it comes to describing Vishy. I wish I could some day meet him in person and touch his feet, for he rekindled Chess in India!
2nd game was amazing 🤩
8:31 The subtle enjoyment in the eyes of the cinematographer!
video quality is top notch.
See how Humble and Polite and a kind Nemo actually is. I just Love it.💖Super down to earth girl💖✨
vishy..the legend.
man nemo had vishy on the ropes in game 2. Problem is if you give a stronger opponent a whiff of counter-play they will win or salvage the draw 9 out of 10 times. But Nemo should take chess a bit more seriously than the other female chess content creators out there. She has good potential to become a GM
Vishy being too humble with his “I should be…”. 7:38
That Rook sac in c2 in the second game was truly a game-changing GM move!
Vishy can be avery good narrator.Such calmness.
Nemo, always so respectful ❤
Cool video format and yes you tend to get shy on TH-cam vids 😆
Just shy around Vishy 😆

He can be world champion 🏆 again if he wants....!!
Beautiful music and video , legend
In the final position from the last game after Ne4+ that Vishy mentioned, there is Kf4 with a draw.
Finally I found my Nemo😅
Secular, more like sickular

Glad Nemo had played with Vishy. Great to play with the legend.
Second match was really awesome
The circle you just talked about on Twitch could be translated with reciprocal knights.
😂nemo expecting her opponent to give her hints is kinda funny
Asian cunning
I would love to see a simul with vishy vs nemo+levy+sagar+botez sisters. I think Levy & sagar would be ofc way too hard opponents & it's kinda difficult but like comon it's the old but not obsolete genius goat of chess vs current chess content creators.
Without time odds and disturbances, I think Vishy will still win 10 out of 10. Probably need to add some GMs in the team to even get a chance.
Nemo, u tried to play like Nepo sometimes with flashes of brilliance and blunders😂😂🎉🎉
Like the way they both are moving their pieces
It will be fantastic to see Vishy Sir playing titled tuesday. I mean he is called madras tiger for a reason.
Love vishy's style of play
Want to learn more about Nemo. Big respect for her now.
Appreciate her for this video.
Really Nemo : Feeling is Mutual which is why I usually try to do the Mating !!!!😂😂😂
17:40 narrator: he was not, in fact, winning (White plays Kf4 with a double attack on the knight and pawn - Black cannot save both)
Great Video and well played Nemo
one of the best videos ever
impressive second game
It's a pleasure to play with vishy Anand sir 🇮🇳🙏🏻
Nemsko must be very good (hearing about her for the first time).
I have played Vishy in person long back and he is so good(!) that it is intimidating. Very intimidating.

nemo really pressed in that 2nd game
Well played nemo
intense
He respect you😊thats why he was serious
I would give my left arm (as a matter of speech) to have this playing experience, even one game, against Anand.
He is formidable OTB (Over The Board).
That was intense!

Excellent second game.
She played like Elo1000 , there were so many good moves in my mind
Can't miss to watch vishy sir game ❤
Curiously 17:39 Nxf4 Anand Concludes after Nxf4 he is winning but probably after Kf4 he is not ! and it is still a draw by force by correct play.
Great Content ❤
Lucky to play against the GOAT
Once again, Vishy's KNIGHT came to the rescue !!
