Donny, what I was going to suggest is when you have an engine fail like this, as soon as you get the cylinder raised a bit, sneak a rag or towel under it to catch any debris that may fall out of the cylinder or ports as you take it the rest of the way off.

Two cycle machines seize up at the piston almost instantly with no oil. The bearings don't have time to get damaged, because they're greased. 4-Stroke, on the other hand, seize the at the crankshaft from no oil. You are correct, I'm having a hard time getting results from Shrouded . I only bought it for the 5 year warranty. They run great and blow powerfully. It's a shame to not take care of the customers with legitimate complaints.
Looks like a KASEI EB-800-E or a chinese clone for it; but if you search for the cylinder, it does not look like the same one. However it does look like the cylinder for the EB-650-E, look for 1E48FP-E-1 and 1E48FP-E.1-1, but check the bore on your machine.. Hope this helps, would love to see the rebuild!
The engine looks like one from an echo pb650-pb-655, pb755 if you look at a picture of their short block kit. They’re also 63.3 cc. They are using the zenoah 75.6cc engines on their biggest blower Schroeder.

Nice video and information. I was wondering if this can be a 1 to 1 copy/clone of other well known brands. If so, perhaps you can go from there. Just a suggestion.
I have the same model blower, ran too much oil and ended up seizing it up. I ordered a new piston, rings and cylinder off Amazon. It takes 1e48fp engine parts. When it did run it ran great and had lots of power. I am going to port it out so it can make a bit more power.
@@PapaMav The oil i was running became sludge and turned into little carbon pellets, which made the rings get stuck and destroyed the piston skirts seizing the engine up.
I have one, and while it's a really good quality, it's too hard for me to pull the starter cord. With an engine this big, they should have a compression release, spring assist starter (like Echo E-Z Start), or even just a larger recoil assembly so you have more leverage. So I went with a Ryobi 40V electric backpack blower. The power is disappointing in comparison. But then, so is the run time. A tank of fuel would run for quite some time. The 40V Rayobi battery is too hot to recharge after you drain it. But I have no problem starting it! I assume Schröder didn't honor the 5 year warranty due to the owner's not using 50:1 2-stroke oil?
I'm not surprised that it's what happened - missing 2-stroke oil is fatal for a 2-stroke engine. A 4-stroke engine just smokes a bit and you might foul the plug. If you have a cat on the 4-stroke it might not go as well though, but it's just the cat that's getting ruined.
I love it when someone posts" suddenly locked up" but available for sale for $$$ on Marketplace. I saw one earlier this week. The owner KNEW what they had done, but still trying to pawn it off as" Don't know why it won't start". I am done responding to those ads. Total junk and I am done with them.
Interesting, I had someone give me a blown leafblower. I poured a little oil into the spark plug hole and let it sit for an hour. Then I put a metal rod through the spark plug hole and tapped the piston loose. Put everything together and have been using it for two years now.
That is EXTREMELY rare for a 2-cycle oil-mixed engine. For 4-stroke (separate oil) engines, it's quite common to free up a seized machine and have it run perfect.
Thanks for Sharing.....Always hurts to see a nice piece of equipment "Destroyed" by a "Silly/Careless Mistake". I try to learn from other peoples mistakes. Amazing how much damage was done, and it probably was done very quickly..... I wonder how much run time was on it before it "locked up"?
I have an SR-8000 and was just outside cussing it. Every year is the same old rigor: tear down the carb, clean it out, spend 30 minutes fooling with low/high jets to get it marginally tuned. I don't think it ever maxes out the 80cc engine. It doesn't seem to matter how you store it from previous season, the carb is super sensitive. They quit selling it in 2021 (purchased in 2020).

How can it possibly seize with too much oil ?!?
@@PapaMav The oil i was running became sludge and turned into little carbon pellets, which made the rings get stuck and destroyed the piston skirts seizing the engine up.
@@landonpope7522 ok, so what kind/brand oil did you use with the gas, to get that result?

i cant find your part 2 ! i need the same exact parts! cant find anywhere
Looks a lot like my RedMax backpack blower. At least from the outside.
Great job, fix it !
Eb650 China made blowers use the same engine too .

Pretty sure they are the same as the echo. I just relaced a cylinder and piston for a bp580. Cost about $100 US dollars.
Funny... 50:1 is hand written on the fuel tank. It looks like my Redmax leaf blower.
They seem to be made by Yuzhoukee Power Equipment company so you should be able to find the parts from them.

Ordered one today. 279
I love it when someone posts" suddenly locked up" but available for sale for $$$ on Marketplace. I saw one earlier this week. The owner KNEW what they had done, but still trying to pawn it off as" Don't know why it won't start". I am done responding to those ads. Total junk and I am done with them.
The one good thing is German Company's usually try to make replacement parts available to customers.
I'm not sure with parts and labor it's worth fixing?
