    HELP JAYMEE PAY BILLS DURING CHEMO
    I would like to thank you for supporting the channel and a lot of people said that they would like to help me with monetary compensation but I would ask that instead of helping me if you could donate to help Jamyee who has stage 4 cancer and must receive chemo for the rest of her life with only a 15% chance of survival. If you are unable to give through financial support it would mean the world if you could just copy and past the link to your favorite social media platform by doing this together we can help her to take care of her children, continue to pay her bills and ensure that she is able to make wonderful memories with her together that are void of finical stress.

    Thank you so much for your love, kindness and support.

    This video single-handedly made me fall in love with leaf clean ups. Heavy rains in forecast for tomorrow so I blew the leaves off the all the sidewalks in a two block radius for free since lots of elderly people walk around here. Feel more than helpful in this profession. Thanks for the advice and the inspiration.

    My approach is towards the mowing season. Mowing 5 Houses on one street 40 times a year is worth doing some leaf jobs that are just a little profitable. Being able to keep homes and add homes to a confined area makes it worth it to give customers leaf job prices they are happy with. When you have 30 streets with 4-5 or more houses next to each other... doing some affordable leaf jobs is well worth it. If I was trying to pull a good profit with leaf jobs a few times a year, I wouldn't have had the same concentration of houses that I enjoyed throughout the mowing season.

    As a street sweeper driver I very much appreciate the job you all do. It saves me hours of work. Unfortunately, a lot of residents blow or rake piles into the streets, which is illegal where I live and costs the city (and taxpayers) MILLIONS per year to clean up.

    I remember growing up and our house had about eight trees on our property. Once I was old enough it turned out to be my responsibility to wake up all of the leaves and then back to garbage bags for a recycling truck. Back in the late '70s and '80s yard equipment wasn't as cheap as it is now. This is long before Home Depot and Lowe's. It wasn't that we could not afford to buy a leaf blower it was just a fact that my father could not see spending money when he has a son still living at home. The only way I ever had a leaf blower was when my father would leave for work and I'd get the hair dryer and a long extension cord and make my own blower. -)

      this is the problem with leaf blowers. they attract idiots who feel powerful or cool with a backpack on and wand for them to point. i will never understand this. grow up. gas leaf blowers are horrible for the environment and a tremendous noise pollution problem. Think of others instead of playing silly games. mow them leaves, it's nutritious for the lawn.

    Knock on the neighbors doors, i hated cleaning the yard. When i 💩 my Saturday is was because getting someone reliable was the issue. Glad you love it. Makes life a little bit easier for us who growl at it..
    How i would price it.
    2 men 1 hour
    Figure a cost for using equipment, it doesn't last forever,and isn't maintenance free.
    Maybe $5 per blower.
    The haul away. Probably have to price according to the dumping fee. Thinking double the cost to dump covers hauling it also.

    I bid on job....I make way more money that way whether the leaves are wet or not. In my experience, over 20 years, I got more rejections with an hourly wage. But its funny how I make more money now vs. hourly.
    Also, I like leaves on my lawn....besides that it kills the grass.
    I LOVE FALL and LEAVES. The last 3 months of the year are my absolute favorite!

    What the trees give in the form of falling leaves is THE BEST fertilizer and mulch one could possibly want.
    My neighbors seeded/watered/mowed/raked/fertilized/seeded/mowed/watered, etc., etc., etc, in their quest
    to have THE greenest lawn all year and I just enjoyed my yard full of blooms 360 days of the year.

      You mean wild weeds right ? Or it mulched your flowers? Thanks

    • @JMC-ul1sw
      @JMC-ul1sw 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Fallen deciduous trees are not good fertilizer--the opposite. Dried leaves essentially are carbon. The tree has already taken the nitrogen out of them which causes them to turn and dry up. They transport the nitrogen mainly into their root systems for the winter. In the spring the sap begins to flow carrying stored nutrients from the roots back up into the tree, So, it requires nitrogen (fertilizer) to decompose the leaves whether on lawn or in compost pile. In other words, rotting mulched leaves will rob the turf of nitrogen. (The worst thing you can do is to till leaves into the garden.) It's okay to leave mulched leaves on the lawn but expect you might best need to fertilize the lawn. The very best is to remove and compost them which requires you to add some green (nitrogen bearing) material with the leaves--about 10%. Then you would eventually aerate the lawn and spread your compost after.

They stopped the tree leaves from going thru fences too. Worst I have ever seen. Like a blizzard.. It was super dry?until that storm.

You simply blow the pile onto the tarp and one guy drops a blower and drags the tarp to the vac. Once you get the hang of it you can strategically place your tarps and avoid blowing trying to blow huge piles across yards. Run a small crew in PA and I definitely think it’d help ya

    Kevin, the impeller may determine how the suction machine shreds. The better the shredding, the more force and impact there is on the leaves & debris. If you change the impeller for a more aggressive degree of shredding, always consider stainless steel and heavier duty fins. Joy to see the end results of a cleaner yard.

    I also strangely enjoy autumn/fall. Unfortunately in the UK, it generally pisses down with rain all the time and everything is soaked. I don't have a setup like yours and have to bag it up. As for clearing the leafs, I couldn't be happier with my Husqvarna 580 bts. I know there are more powerful blowers on the market but it does everything I need!

    I owned a commercial land care company for many years. My main 3 customers were 2 gold course communities 1 paid 1,250,000 a year other paid 850,000 a year. The third property was a shopping mall which paid 825,000 a year. Only thing about these properties is you will need a 10man crew 5 days a week. But I would NEVER do residential homes never ever ever. The money is just not the same. BTW I started my empire with my tax refund that year of 8,000 and it grew to making millions per year. Commerical properties also never slow down summer or winter its full tilt and full pay. Had I not been diagnosed with terminal cancer I would still be doing this because I absolutely loved it.

    So that's how they do it. Wow. Just started into this area of business so my wife and I do this by rake, coal shovel, and bags----lots of bags! Then off to the landfill to dump the bags. Keep seeing set ups like yours coming into the "brush" area of the landfill, dump, pull forward, and they are gone. Considering buying a leaf vacuum now.
    How do I price? We live in something of an "economically challenged" area so we price what we think is a good deal for both customer and us but yes, I underprice jobs. I believe though, after we get our name out there, we'll be able to go up a bit in price.

    • @LawnCareJuggernaut
      @LawnCareJuggernaut  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats really interesting I am would like to pick your brain a bit. Do you do an on sit visit and adjust the square ft price for the amount of leaf drop or moisture?

    • @3RDCOASTSWANGIN
      @3RDCOASTSWANGIN 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LawnCareJuggernaut I'll look up the property before I get there to gain the approximate sq ft and upon me visually inspecting the property I'll adjust price based on leaf volume, estimated time of labor and overall size of service area. I charge a little less for most larger properties but make up the difference thru other variables that pertain to that specific and it always balances out for me. This method works for me bc i can easy breakdown my cost of the complete job.. Rainfall is the only thing that can alter this but if its just to saturated I'll let the property dry out some 1st then come back. But I agitate the leaves before I leave to make sure for a more effective dry out so I'm not dealing with a super soggy mess underneath my piles‼️ If a customer wants to pay my tax for cleaning up their lawn full of wet leafs I have no choice but to say thank you, which many don't care bc their not doing it‼️

      Brian’s lawn maintenance uses a bagging system on a 60” and it seems to shred it up well. He then drops them on the ground next to the truck vacuum. The system systems seems to work well.
