finally good to see someone make nice content like this. I had this idea for ages but never made it asI don't know much about youtube or video editing but glad to see someone do it. I love these videos that compare and show all versions.
Correction for Shrek 2: On PC you had two versions, the crappy one that you mention, and the actual console version. The console version for PC was called "Shrek 2 - Team Action". I own both versions for PC as I like to collect those different versions.
12:13 ackchyually ☝🤓 Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex on PS2 and PSP technically don't share the same name. The PSP game has an additional subtitle: "Kariudo no Ryouiki" / "Domain of the Hunters", which was omitted from the localised title for some reason.
A correction for "The Italian Job". The real difference is that the one for ps1 was also made for Windows 95/98/2000/XP and was developed by pixelogic in 2001 and then published by SCi in Europe and by Rockstar Games in USA. The game was baed on the classic movie. Later, in 2003, when they made the new movie, Eidos published the new one created by "Climax Brighton"...but basically we are talking about two very different games. Then Eidos bought SCi in 2005...but still, we are talking about "different games" more than "different versions".
The Shrek 2 game came to pc too but under a different name. the one which was different was a tie in game to the movie. the arcade style beat em up game was later released on pc with a different name too.
PS1 Michael Caine is amazing. Splinter cell double agent on PS2 is a completely different game to the next gen version, playing much more like Chaos theory
I remember playing The Sims on my mom's old Nokia phone when I was a kid and it was mind blowing for me (mostly because the characters could remove their pants when using the bathroom, that was so mature for me back then)
Every single mainline Sims game until Sims 4, which was first that had the same version on PC and consoles (more or less), was different on consoles than PC, and sometimes even between different consoles. And I purposely mentioned mainline games, because some of the spin-off games got pretty faithful console port and some even were console exclusives and never got PC version. But I digress here, so back to the mainline games. Sims 1 is especially interesting, because the console versions got full 3D graphics (PC version only had isometric graphics), but unlike PC version, which was a sandbox, console versions were more like an adventure game, similar to the PSP Sims 2 game.
Some more suggestions: Call of duty World at War (Call of Duty World at War Final Fronts on PS2) 007 Quantum of Solace PS2 vs PS3 (PS2 was a third person game) Driver 1 (PS1 and PC) The War of the Worlds (PS1 and PC)
speaking of Pirates of the Caribbean, i find the combat in 7th gen are garbage, while 6th gen plays like a typical hack n slash game, which for me is more fun
9:38 This isn´t true. Like at all. The PS1 Version of Porsche Unleashed is fairly unique really. It was developed by Eden Games and runs on the V-Rally 2 Engine. What makes it really special is that they created a couple of maps with a road network and build tracks in those maps. Because of this unique approach for the Track Design the game doesn´t feature any tracks from older NfS titles. If anything, High Stakes is essentially just a expanded version of Hot Pursuit since it does indeed feature a lot of content from it´s older sibling.
Ironman on pc was based on the PS2 version. Sorry for the mistake, guys.
This is just the type of niche content I like to find on my TH-cam homepage, instant subscribe haha!
It's part of a trilogy, just so you know.

Thanks, mate. It was a tough slog.
14:45 they actually did port the console version of shrek 2 to pc later on under the name team action
The DS Sims 2 my beloved! Such a wild and bizarre little thing and I want to know more about the little world it built!
Shrek 2 also had another PC port, which was Team Action & it's based on the 6th gen consoles
Nice video series man, keep the content up. Definitely click it right a way if I see it in my feed.

Great videos. Kudos. You should check lego games ports, it could be interesging.
PS2 Nightfire was my childhood. There is also a GBA version which is pretty advanced for its time. But Gen6 version is the best for me.
i had both version of the sims 2, and that was amazing! i love play that game when i was a kid
0:04 HEY IT'S ME
also the 7th gen console of X-Men Origins has DLC, while PC don't, so fine reason to play on emulator
Do you have ideas for my next video?
Add Cars and Cars 2 game adaptations to your list next.
Awesome video!
Ok thank you
Nightfire was my childhood on ps2.
Few month ago I got it on pc and it felt wrong. Now I know why 😂
Dude! love your video
need more vids like this. I love same name contenr
nice use of sims theme during the bonus games part. i think thats TS1's music?
Sims 2 music. Surprisingly, there's no copyright, so I used it ha-ha.
Some more suggestions:
Call of duty World at War (Call of Duty World at War Final Fronts on PS2)
007 Quantum of Solace PS2 vs PS3 (PS2 was a third person game)
Driver 1 (PS1 and PC)
The War of the Worlds (PS1 and PC)
The Sims 2 Castaway have a version for ps2 and PC too, the ps2 version had a better story for me
the pc version ironman its not from ps3/x360 port but theyre using ps2 port
Oh crap.
PS2 and Xbox versions of Rainbow3 are different
Sims games on ps2 was 🔥
The italian jobs ps1 version is also on pc
Looooove it thx ❤❤
i hated this trend of different games with same name, good thing it doesnt happens anymore
Gaming companies still wanted to make money from weaker consoles. That's why we often got different games.
it's because the games getting expensive to make, so wasting budget to make same game twice is bad idea now
I wish they still did....
This happens a whole lot.
didn't know ps2 had ghosts buster
Always good when people learn something new.
@@n-tertainmentx-tended4760 yeah, thanks for the upload really enjoyed it.
@@KP-48-007 You and literally hundreds of people lol.
Yeah man we dont mind if your video is a little longer
Whats that music at the end of the vid? It's super familiar but i can't place it.
Sims 2.
@@n-tertainmentx-tended4760 I guess I'm getting old, thanks!
You forgot the GBA version of Nightfire 😢
I did? That's too bad. 😗
So.. would you guys reccomend playing Shrek 2 with some friends or its better to pass..?
Xmen origins is best on PC
the ps3 and xbox 360 version has DLC, which PC lacks
IMO NFS Porsche was better on ps1
"Bonus games" should have been part 3
Part 3 is already in the works, so no worries.
@@n-tertainmentx-tended4760 That is a good news
speaking of Pirates of the Caribbean, i find the combat in 7th gen are garbage, while 6th gen plays like a typical hack n slash game, which for me is more fun
Yeah, Jack often performed moves that I had nothing to do with. It looked cool, but it was a bit weird.
@@n-tertainmentx-tended4760 have you seen the boss fight? it's basically rock paper scissors
@@GrumpyCat97 Jeez Louise. I had my reservations about the 7th-gen version, but now you confirmed my suspicions.
The incredible Hulk and the ironman on pc looked worse visually.

Maaaannn. I'm on the video!
Is this an AI voice?
It is not😂
Would be the first AI voice I hear that can breathe.
