I did this to my setup. It looks really good. The only thing I'm having trouble with is the controller. It all functions properly except for being able to use the right thumb stick to look around. I'm having to use the dpad. It's very awkward. Accuracy is impossible.

I prefer old school fixed camera angles. Also, the graphics on ps2, while technically inferior, have more pronounced shadows and contrasts, making the visuals more atmospheric. Newer Fatal Frame games never hit me as hard as the ps2 trilogy. As for the xbox, it's mostly a bump in resolution (interlaced mode on ps2 vs progressive on xbox) which doesn't matter on an emulator. What actually makes the xbox worthwhile is added content. So if you prefer fixed camera angles, xbox version is the best one.

Project Zero was the code name they used while in development, and they used the same name when released in European and Japan. It was named Fatal Frame is US because Project Zero was already trademarked.

Ps2 models don't look right, glad they changed that.

At the very least, they should say "[console name] version" at the end of any given title to differentiate it. The definitive version can just have the original title. Has this practice mostly gone away? I know that there are still mobile phone versions of bigger games, but hopefully those say "mobile" to differentiate them.

My untrained eyes say better lighting and character models on Wii. Do you have to use motion controls?
