I think the only reason why World at War's Zombies mode was cut out was likely because of technical limitations, which weren't a thing for Black Ops on the Wii
I was under the impression that it was cut because there wasn't a lot of faith in the zombies mode to begin with as this was the first game to have it, so porting it to Wii would have been seen as a waste of resources for a mode that wasn't sure to be a success.
Got one more "Same name, different games" for you: Youkai Yashiki. The MSX original was one of the first Metroidvanias ever made due to its non-linear level design. You don't even have to beat the stage boss to get to the next stages, if you can find the path, and all stages can be backtracked. Famicom version: Same story premise, but almost everything is different. Famicom version uses all new sprites, all new stages, removes the non-linearity of the stages so it actually SHIFTED GENRES from a Metroidvania to a linear platformer. Even the bosses are different in the Famicom version, they reused the first boss but then made all new bosses for the rest.
Splinter Cell Double Agent is a completely different game on both 6th and 7th gen. It was developed by two different studios, with the 6th gen version being under Ubisoft Montreal, which were the original creators of the series and thus making it a better game overall. Especially the OG Xbox version.
Yea the original Xbox double agent was a true sequel to chaos theory. 360 double agent had better graphics, but stripped core gameplay mechanics. And also had an entirely different level structure
I miss the PS2/PSP days. It was honestly cool to see different versions. My favorite was star wars the force unleashed on PSP/WII. It's totally different from the PC/360 version
I love the DS but some games were definitely NOT fit for stylus control😂 however i think Plants vs Zombies for the DS is a solid port and it plays perfectly. I got watery eyes because it gave me so much nostalgia of me playing it on the PC back in 2008 along with Pirates of the Caribbean online and Toontown online.
@GrumpyCat97 Yes, I remembered that when I made the video. I only recommended the console versions to viewers. Anyway, it's great to hear from you Mr. Grumpy Cat.
Actually.. I love Wii & PS2 Graphic.. they have "charm" & atmosphere not like X360 & PS3 and beyond. I still love Dreamcast Graphic too to this day.. And never play Next Gen Games ever since. except League of Legends Wild Rift and TFT on my Phones
@@mikeclark4480 That's why I actually (quietly) stopped making emulation content. I'm not saying I'm moving to new types of content, but it's evident where my views are coming from. Hint: It's not from emulation videos.
TDU SD isnt exactly worse than the HD Port, if anything, its less bloated because of the online only stuff, and the awful bikes. (seriously, did no one test the bike physics/handling?) Also, its mad impressive they put the roughly same sized map from the HD version on the PS2 and the PSP, even if the PSP version ran at 19 fps (although nowadays you can negate it with 60 fps cheat codes. Also works on real PSPs)
The Simpsons Game is another example of being different on PS2 and PSP, and especially different on DS. And then there's Need for Speed: Most Wanted and its reboot of the same name. Which were both released on Xbox 36o to add more confusion. Also, Carnival Games on Wii and Switch are very different too, with the Switch game being somehow much worse!
I feel like running PS1 games through an emulator at higher res with perspective correction is missing the point a bit. These games didn’t look that good on original hardware. Disable all the improvements if emulating.
@n-tertainmentx-tended4760 I'm not complaining about that...I love my n64 in hi res....I'm not a 60fps elitist ....I just wanna know how much fps produce on me that choppiness sensation...
Strongly disagree on World is Not Enough. Yeah, default controls on both versions are similar, but on N64 you can choose different control schemes. The one where you walk and strafe by d-pad and look with analog stick is similar enoug to modern games. However, Playstation version doesnt support analog sticks at all

I played THPS4 on ps1, and loved it. When i got the ps2(early 2004) I was blown away that the "same game" looked so different(I was like 8yo btw)
Don’t diss Spider-Man Web of Shadows for the DS. So good!
I didn't. I do apologize if that's how it came across.
awesome, love it. how much more games in this vids series ?
You forgot James Camerons Avatar the game
Finally youre back, After this video will you make another regular like before?

Tomb Raider Underworld and Toy Story 3 are also on PC btw.
Yeah.
Tomb Raider Underworld is buggy on PC, so i'll stick to console. besides, xbox 360 has exclusive DLC

Mercenaries 2 has messy control on next gen ver
Yeah, it's not great, but I would still pick it over PS2.
Awesome video friend! Have you seen the updates from Xenia Manager and was curious what your thoughts about it ?
Looks interesting. I could make an update video, but it's probably not going to get much traction.
@@n-tertainmentx-tended4760 Yeah, I'm not sure how well-received it would be considering it's not Switch 2 content LOL.

Glad to hear that I was not the only kid who got fooled after buying web of shadows on PS2 after seeing the PS3 trailer XD
Yup.

Shattered dimensions doesn't have a PS2 port
Have you made the first 3 Harry Potter or Star Wars Jedi Power Battle? Or Need for Speed Most Wanted
I remember playing toy story 3 and my PC crashed ahhh the old days
When pc ports were guaranteed to suck. Those were awesome days indeed.

You must try NFS Porsche Unleashed (GBA, PS, PC).
Game developer:
- Pocketeers (GBA)
- Eden Studios (PS)
- EA Canada (PC)
It’s totally different 😂
World of war also had a ps2 port that was different than others
That PS2 version is, in my opinion, the worst Call of Duty campaign I've played. It's just that bad.
And a DS version. That's right. World at War on the DS.

cod wow
Cod mw1
Cod mw2
Cod bo
Cod mw3
All of these have a ds port
PS2's WaW took really a lot from the OG WaW campaign, it's really like Mercenaries 2 PS2 port, very different and not in a good way.
It's an spin-off, not a port

Nice content.
Your missing tons of games. You have to look at retro games but Sega and Nintendo games were very often much different. Or n64 and PS1 games.
I appreciate your input, but I don't know third/fourth gen that well.
@@n-tertainmentx-tended4760 Did you cover James Camerons avatar the game? the WII version is completely different from the ps3 version
Tony hawk 4 on ps1 runs in like 20fps?
I asking this because there are in this very video where with 30fps run fine to my eyes...
The game pushed the console to its limits, so expect some frame dips.
