Tip for anyone who’s crank pulley bolt gets stuck and does not want to loosen- get a can of CRC Freeze Off from autozone
After 4 days of fighting that bolt, and 3 different heavy duty impact guns and a 40 inch breaker I couldn’t get that bolt out and was getting worried. Sprayed some crc freeze off on the stuck bolt, let it activate and that bolt came right off like it was nothing on my jzx90 tourerV. After days of fighting it I couldn’t believe how easy that stuff made it work for me

Is there any need to do anything about Timing? Do the cams have to stay at a certain point, or the markings on the crank pulley need to be adjusted for any reason? I'm going to do this swap for myself and also replace the alternator for you know, reasons. Thanks!

No need to do anything with timing, the pulley only goes in one way and the cams take a bit of effort to actually move so that shouldn't be an issue. Just double check that the cam gear markings both line up once you put the belt back on
If you're re using your timing belt be sure it gets reinstalled in its original position otherwise it can start to walk off the gears. You can use a sharpie to mark the belt and cam gear tooth

I ran into the a/c being in the way, wish that was addressed :-)

Sorry about that! It's not too difficult to remove but I do have a video on how to do a water pump conversion and it covers the ac condenser removal if you still need it
