This is an easy to follow guide that uses Citadel products to achieve fantastic looking miniatures, even if you’re new to the hobby.

I was surprised by that temple guard blue on the night lords. Expected a bit lighter color like hoeth blue or something but these turned out great.
you can use Hoeth blue, I use temple guard blue as this looks like what the studio use to paint theres :)
Is the best way to support you patroon? I hope you never stop painting and making tutorials. This collection of videos is invaluable!
i would say the est way ti support me is patreon if you mean monetarily. that way you get tutorials early and you also see working progress of the next tutorial.
Excellent idea to cover a range of colour schemes.
i try and avoid using filler, but i like to use valejjo palstic putty if I need to

I love your videos, maybe for the night lord you can make a 50/50 mix night lords blue and Abaddon black and use that as a glaze.

I have a Chaos legion for you that might be tricky. Sons of Malice with their white and black checkerboard style.
Love your videos. I use them for character models because they are too much for my general painting parience on normal models :)
I'd never finish any making them as good as you do.

Very good idea! In 40k I have seen Chaos Marines portrayed in standard black armours, proper for Sons of Horus (Black Legion now). It is also official outlook on GW website and boxes with Chaos Marines. But they came from different legions, so why they shouldn't keep their legions colours?
black legion are like the poster boys for chaos marines. like ultramarines. they do support the other legions though as well

I have one question, what colors do you use for that Night Lords knee pad ?? This White color with the blue shade ? Thanks in advance !
Awsome. I’m glad you found the confidence 😁 the knee pad is painted Corax white with apothecary white contrast applied over it. White scar to highlight 👌🏻

I always used to use shades in recesses like in some of your older videos. but recently ive started to notice a lot of issues with shades that i'm having. E.g: Covering up details making it hard to fix mistakes, most prominent on the recess shade around space marine lenses. They would make for very annoying experiences. So from now on ill stick to using shades for effects, paper and metallics.
Have you or anyone else encountered these issues and have you started using normal paint for your recesses because of this issue?
yes I had the exact same frustrations using shade for recessing, this is why I switched to using paints as well :)
we dont paint in anywhere near the same style but its a very well put together video, love your methodical painting mate, great to watch while doing any of your own painting imo. any plans for the upcoming night lords kill team?
Thank you. I'm glad you liked the video. The night lord in this tutorial is done to match the new night lords scheme for the kill team so I don't think I'll do a dedicated video for them

Wow, those are great! Those details really do take it to the next level. I have a few different factions of these mosters. I likethe Death guard look most. I do notice that they seem to have a more unique look about them than your average chaos monsters. I have not yet had the opportunity to play a game as i have just taken up the hobby and am having trouble finding answers to some questions i might have. I know you are not a rules channel so i apologize if this question is a bitin the weeds but you seem to be quite knowledgeable about how to paint figures. Would it be acceptable to paint the other chaos forces and demons in a puky (pardon my spanish) greenish blue orange to play as death guard or would i be required to fabricate custom, or use borrowed antlers and such to make the figures better fit the part? I am up to the challenge if this is required. It would be a shame to show up and not be able to play. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.
Welcome to the hobby 😁 a great part of the hobby is the creativity. We can imagine and create our own colour schemes, lore and paint the miniatures how ever you want. The miniatures you see already painted represent factions and characters that exist in the lore. Have fun with it and your still be able to use these uniquely painted miniatures in games

Now if only we had more traitor transfers
There are separate sheets of transfers for every traitor legion but for Horus Heresy game. I'm really unsure how they would fit to 40k miniatures. Maybe somebody tried it?
I'm sure they would be fine, the current sheet for the chaos marines have all the legions though
Hey tabletop ready I have a quick question about the alpha legion marine what do you mean with equal mix ? Just 1:1 of each color or ?
Mix a new all amount of each paint. So yeah 1:1 👌🏻

Yeah, its curious that they are only dedicated legion that wasn't included in game system: Word Eaters, Death Guard and Thousand Sons are separate factions! Captain Lucius was thrown into general Chaos Marines... Slaanesh have right to feel offended.
