      Hey, we're glad you found the video helpful. I couldn't find anyone online talking about it so I figured that I should.

    I have used Bobo bm4 and it's very high quality product, secure and sturdy. The problem I had with it was - it's not anti theft. So I had to carry it around in a bag and if I forget to carry then no gps navigation. So I bought Mobilock. (Quadlock knock off). It's always on the bike and no fuss to carry arround and it's also very sturdy and high quality. Give it a try.

    How is your 1 month experience with it?
    Is the phone stable enough while riding to focus on maps?

      Apologies for the delayed reply. I did post a video recently where i was speaking about the experience with the Phone holder. Basically, it's good. I've noticed that it tends to become more stable as the revs rise. It will shake when you're on very bumpy roads; kind of like if you were to hold it in your hand and run i guess, but that's the nature of the vibration dampener.

    I'm using normal BOBO BM4 currently on my R15 V3, i'm not facing any issues till not, i'm using S23 ultra . Please suggest me, it is a good decision to upgrade to BOBO BM4 PRO or BOBO BM4 PRO Plus ?

    • @nagarajankaushik1
      @nagarajankaushik1 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No bro. I would highly suggest to not "upgrade" to the pro or pro plus. I ordered them both on Amazon and going to return them. The cushion mechanism actually makes phone feel less secure. It shakes a lot. Even in normal driving. It becomes very distracting and you cannot trust if it will hold on, especially in high speeds.
      I'm used a apache 160 with s24 ultra. I'm going to use the normal only.

    Whats the difference between Vibration controller and vibration damper in pro plus variant pls explain

    • @jessgodonwheels
      @jessgodonwheels  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      To my knowledge, it's just the name that's different. Also the design on the damper is different on both models.
      I'm not an engineer so I wouldn't know how much of a difference the mass of the rubber damper makes on the vibrations. I just feel the term vibration controller is a little misleading. It really is a damper and there's nothing that's really "controlling" the vibration.

      @@ksaiashish9270I have tried all 3 and the normal one without the vibration one seems the best. The vibration damper ones make the phone vibrate a lot and is distracting

    • @jessgodonwheels
      @jessgodonwheels  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sadly I don't have an iPhone so can't really share from.personal experience. That being said, for iphones, if you have to mount it on the handlebar, you need a mount that has a vibration damper. This sort of fits the bill in that regard as it will reduce the amount of shock that's actually going to the phone, unless you're going full dirt rally style, clipping over every pothole and every bump.
      Bobo has released an updated/better version of this BM4 Pro Plus, which has a better vibration damper. Here's a link to it : amzn.to/4dK0q6L
      The vibration damper used on this model is similar to the ones used by 'Quad Lock'.
      Alternatively, if you have the budget for it, you can consider going for the industry standard "Quad Lock". It is expensive, but they have ones specifically for iPhone.

    Even I am using the same Holder, It is okayish, When you install the same using mirror mount, Phone is shaking, But I hope Vibrations will not reach much to the phone. Once test it and let us know. Thanks

      Took it for a short 60 km ride through the city. I noticed that the shaking is more at slower speeds but seems to smooth out at higher speeds. I'll have to pay a little more attention and see if there's anything that's sticking out.

    Is the holder, unlike the ball joint, made of plastic?

    • @jessgodonwheels
      @jessgodonwheels  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Had to go and check it on my bike. Yes the holder itself is made of plastic. The plastic is sturdy though.

    Doesn't this block your console?

    • @jessgodonwheels
      @jessgodonwheels  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It looks like that on the camera because of where the camera is on the helmet. But while riding, with the current way it's set up, the bottom of my console, around 1cm high is covered. That's okay for now, but I'll change the positioning if it becomes a problem for me.

    Hi bro I bought similar mobile holder from Bobo which is water proof and has same vibration controller, I see there is vibration at 1st and 2nd gear and then it is very smooth do have same experience with yours. Only worried about is it is easy to steal if you park your bike outside.

    • @jessgodonwheels
      @jessgodonwheels  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      At slower speeds where shakes are more prominent, the phone does shake. As you pick up pace, the phone holder is smooth. It's like when my mirrors are blurry because of vibrations, the phone isn't, because the "vibration controller" seems to be doing its job. About how easy it is to remove the actual phone holder, I agree. It's a gamble that I take. Most people don't bother with trying to remove the phone holder. The sad truth is that there are miscreants everywhere.

    1500 bucks?? Do you know brother what buck actually is? Americans used to trade buckskin/deerskin for goods when there were no currency. Thats why now they say buck to their Dollars but in India there is no history of using buckskin 😊 simply call it Rupees why bucks when there is no relevance 😊
