Would be curious to hear your thoughts on having a GR Corolla and R32 GTR. I'm in kind of a weird spot of debating what car I want to daily alongside an R33 GTR and it's basically GRC or FL5/DE5 but they're hard to get.
The GRC is an amazing car, especially if you like having a more profomance oriented daily it hits all the boxes. If you want something that’s a little more comfortable you’ll probably want the Honda, the Corolla is a bit faster and is definitely a more “sportier feeling” car but its interior is also more “track” oriented. It lacks fancy electronics and has manual adjustments and a okay radio at the expense to be more of a performance oriented car. The Hondas keep the “sportyness” but also the luxuries of a modern car. So it’s really up to preference. Do you want the raw performance of the Toyota or scarafice a bit of the performance and “feel” for a bit more of a comfy & more luxurious sports car.
@@MattsRbs I really appreciate the response! Yeah I think if I could go just pick up a Type R for MSRP then that may fit me better in some ways but I'm not calling 30 dealerships and playing phone tag forever just for them to bump it above MSRP last minute. Thinking I may try to pick up a 25 GRC MT instead and I'll just enjoy the benefits of having a real e-brake and AWD when it snows. Really helps that you have GTR though since it apparently makes sense for you to own it as I'm assuming it's your daily. A few years ago I wanted something more comfortable as a daily, but I also didn't think fun manual cars were going to die out so quickly. Now, as an enthusiast, I feel like I need to enjoy every second of these cars so I don't regret it later. I've also been craving a fun daily on twisty backroads for a long time now and need to pick something up.
@@ZWortek Yes it’s the daily! It pairs very nice with the GTR two very different cars but similar at the same time! It’s sad but you’re right, The GRC is probably going to be one of the last real “drivers” cars. I see why you’d want to get into one while you can. Same reason I got one. Good set of winter tires and the GRC gets around like no other in the snow. And is a ton of fun on backroads and twisties summer time! Plus the handbrake is pretty awesome too👍
@@utopiadeferred I used the “vibrant 1142 3inch super quiet resonator” it’s definitely removed most of the drone but it is still fairly loud! It sounds awesome to me! Tho I think a resonator that’s a bit larger would tone it down just a tad bit more if you really didn’t want it loud & you could easily fit it (there is loads of space) but the vibrant fits very well between the hanger and the rear exhaust connection.
I actually think I might like this better than the hks exhaust I have in my car…
It sounds awesome! But it is loud! I ended up adding a resonator later on.

But I might go w/ the touring
Good choice! I am actually adding a vibrant resonator to mine. Too loud for the missus
@@MattsRbs Ah! OK, then my choice is made. Cheers!
@@MattsRbsshe’s got a point 😂, which vibrant are you thinking?

@@MattsRbs How much more loud would you say compare to the stock exhaust? 40-50% more with the touring resonator? Thx
