Let me get facts and i will reply later, WE spoke about this and all the other systems we installed in the past it really will be hard to beat the weight of the stock exhaust as it is super thin and all, the quality of the aftermarket already will use thicker steel on the tubing. But i will reply after we get some solid numbers in hand.
The above is not 100% accurate - Correct Weights: Track Edition: 37.5 lbs (with clamps & tips) | Touring Edition: 46.5 lbs (with clamps & tips) AWE uses T304L stainless steel with a wall thickness of .065". The overall weights of each system are directly reflective of the material used, the increase in diameter throughout the exhaust, and the increase in component content. The stock system is thin and very little packing material there really is yet to be a lighter system made of steel - Titanium sure
Great execution by AWE, glad they kept the oval center tip and sounds amazing. Just need a titanium version, need to shave some of that weight. These updates on the GRC are awesome! Keep them coming!
I have a FANTASTIC Stage 2 M340i xDrive at the moment..... I know the Corolla is no where near the same speed as my M340i, BUT I'm still drooling over these GR Corolla's!!! The worst part is.... there is a new GRC available locally, in RED (my favourite colour!!!! 😁)
@@SrdraG12how do you like it? I'm finishing my degree currently in mechanical engineering and I'm drooling over this car..I want one without the next year 😭
@aaronbaggest2029 bro driving this car is a blast, just be careful with markups some dealers are going crazy with 15k markup on these... I paid 6k but some dealers would sell at msrp The vehicle overall is a blast you just don't have as much space in the interior because it's a corolla ofc
Maybe it's the mic, but I didn't like the sound. I could also hear a harmonic jump as the rpms increase from idle. Maybe the side pipes should be different length ratios compared to the center pipes? I would think a touring setup should be more quiet for linger time in the car. Track setups should push th decibels to track limits and provide a no compromise performance focus. That's just me.
I would go track kit all day long, sounds way better without being all that much louder. and like you said you could always get the front muffler later if you wanted.

Looks cool but seems off in many ways the center muffler must go makes zero sense and wastes a lot of HP which is the point of the exhaust system maybe add an exhaust cut out with an electric control for those super race days ;)
The exhaust and any exhaust will shift and move. I suspect we didn’t have the hanger on all the way. We did a lot of aggressive driving and lots of bouncing off the rev limited. It was our mistake nothing to be concerned about.
Now all Toyota needs to do is update the interior of the GR and I'm getting one, I have a regular Corolla but I really don't want to see the same interior for years
Sounds great but I haven’t seen an aftermarket exhaust yet that doesn’t reduce low end torque and add a tiny touch of hp at high rpm. No sound is worth up front torque in this car. I would imagine adding exhaust to this car would make it annoying to drive in city traffic.
I don’t think I’ll ever go after market exhaust just because I don’t want to lose the preschools low end torque. I like to zip without winding my engine out. For me it’s about the performance. I’d love to have that sound, but not for the performance trade off.

Awe should get rid of the clamps they get loose with time or they fall off then the car sounds like 💩 you would expect for the price you pay for it to be better quality or at least better hardware 😂
It's just too bad that Supra has a BMW engine in it not a GTE 2J updated version of it I really hate German engineering pretty much breaks all the time especially a BMW engine anything
Finally! A GR Corolla that sounds good. That’s sufficient emotion. Crispy.
😀
Best looking GRC system so far IMO. What's the weight difference compared to OEM?

Great video and what a cool exhaust system! I prefer the version without the drone. 😊
Same
Sounds freaking awesome with the track pipe.
Just ordered one the morning it came out! When do you guys think these will be available to ship?

The track sounds good🔥
Little Pop action too ...
the clutch is cooked
For your own preference, would you prefer this than Magnaflow one?
no check engine light or what did you do with the valve plug?
Great question , I did not cover that in the Video - it is Plugged in and tucked above the exhaust. The car will not give a CEL
@@Speedindustry ahh ok, prob in the directions but just wanted to verify. I did order from yall , looking forward to the install!
@@sreyes1103 Thanks a lot. Tracking will follow soon.
@@Speedindustry so just put this on, its loud af lol
I see how people be messing up there clutches real quick
Do you need to retune the car when you do the straight pipe ?
What Intake are you guys running? Does it throw a check engine light?
We only had one intake light pop up since we have had the car and with all the testing - In this Video we have the Eventuri installed
What is the wheel specs? And whats it lowered on?
I love mine 😬
Great Video - we are past the point to compare stock to this so your video is perfect
I like that they kept the oval in the middle. I think all the ones with duals in the center just don't look as good.
Dual tips in the middle looks like buck teeth to me. This looks fantastic.
@@spongetot22 perfect way to explain it - i dont think i can unsee that next time i look at a quad tip system
I would go track kit all day long, sounds way better without being all that much louder. and like you said you could always get the front muffler later if you wanted.
They should at least weld the muffler y section. Not a fan of a 20 piece system. Clearly cost cutting on manufacturing/shipping
Does the Touring retain the factory valve system for the center tip? Or have they at least done a V2 that does now? Anyone know?
Why not also 2 sidepipes on it?
Sounds awesome
Any drone from the touring verison?

So it’s single exhaust
The license plate should say "RCESPICE"

So the exhaust shifts every time the car is driven hard???

How can I get AWE exhaust system?
You hand over monies
We have more ready to ship. best to call in to our office
Do they sell different colored tips?
Currently the only option is the Black Diamond tips - I think they match perfect.
The track kit sounds like a typical Ricer Fart can exhaust!
sounds cool but somehow as if its chocked/muffled by force, really sounds like its struggling to release the tone thats natural to it
compressed, thats the word i was looking for, doesnt sound like its breathing freely
Different tips available?
Currently it’s only in the Diamond Black
Where is the before sound????
I am hearing a few pops when shifting with the Track Edition. Is that from a stock ECU?
This car is Stock Besides an intake and this AWE Exhaust
That welding job 😬
Where do i get it?
We got these for sale - Check the link or give our store a call

It's cheaper than the HKS Legamax which I was leaning towards...

How's an aftermarket exhaust weigh more than the stock exhaust... Extensive R&D my ass
Zip tie the valve off to the side or sth. R aNd D
They used steel instead of inconel/titanium/Kevlar/carbon fiber or whatever light material, that's why it's heavy
