Take a few dollars and some scrap wood and build you a workbench and get your stuff out of the grass... Your back and knees will thank you for it later... Nice work...

Imo I would have sandblasted, flap disc and wire wheeled the frame before doing any welding but that's just me. I realize you are trying too keep the patina.
    Nice job.

All the spots that had to be welded were sanded/ground down to bare metal before welding. I ended up sanding and clearing the whole frame after it was done. Just looked raggedy with the patina look in this case.

I don’t think it is. It was turning into goo when it git hot from the wire wheel.

Those Rear Rupp Wheels on that "racing kart" are worth a LOT MORE than you probably paid for both those karts. WHAT DID YOU DO with them???? Heck just the spacers in those wheels are probably worth as much as you paid, lol.

I trashed them. Naw just kidding. I’ve got them of the power wheels Jeep that I built. I stole the wheels off the Jeep for this kart.

I have a 4 bolt pattern can I get drift tires or sticks with the same bolt pattern cause all I see is 3 bolt

As long as the slicks fit the wheel it doesn’t matter what bolt pattern but most 3 bolt rims are 4,5 or 6 inches in diameter so most slicks are in those sizes. Since it’s 4 bolt I’d expect your rim may be bigger than that so a slick may be hard to find. An old warn turf tire or a mower tire with only a few straight groves would work for sliding too.

What size are the rear wheels and tires on this Kart?

They are either 12x9-6 or 11.5x9-6 something around that range
