Been watching this channel from the start and i love it . Mr Newburn is a great guy,got lots of common sense ,a propa car guy. Best part of the team .Just keep him away from the gearbox on Blasphemi lol. All the best Danny uk 👍
The first and second primary tubes downward angle not being parallel or symmetrical with one another really gets at my OCD! Good thing their hidden by the frame rail and you can’t really notice it when the header is bolted up. Looks awesome.
I just went through so many of your videos to find this one from 2 years ago because I wanted that tube marking tool. Then I saw it’s $1600 and decided to feed my family instead. I’ll revert to the Jerry rig practice of using my belt or something else as a wrap around to achieve the best results I can. I don’t know why I thought that tool would be cheaper.
Love the road trip content but love the fab/build stuff way more! The audio has gotten much much better... but still miss a step here and there. @Newbern, facial grooming is on point! Overall constant improvement, can't wait for the rest of this!
There's something so satisfy about those last shots of you slipping the header into place! Knowing that you built that and there will be no question about fitment is a beautiful thing!
Awesome work there. Better and better. And, it is absolutely heartwarming to see... the RoadKill donkey overseeing production. Mascot and Luck Charm. Without that magical piece of art, none of this would be possible. Well, maybe.
Oh btw Finnegan, congrats on the new pup.. just make sure it doesn't stare at the light from the welder and go blind.. It's mesmerizing to dogs for some reason. Also, you need to teach James (Cleetus' friend/coworker) how to make exhaust.. his Nova's exhaust... you just know it's about to break with him making hundreds of pie cuts and no back purging.
Honestly, Mike is the best wealth of knowledge about welding I've come across. I've never welded a day in my life but after watching Finnegan do his welding thing after Big Chief made fun of his work, it gives me the motivation to try.
Audio is so much better, thanks for that👍 This video makes me think I need better friends. To get your truck up and running in 5 days will be awesome. Look forward to the next one!
Cut out the most interesting part of actually finding the angles and fitting everything between the collector and flange. Thats the part i want to see and learn
Awesome job! And super excited that you finally got a good microphone - almost blew out my eardrums when the video started cuz I'm used to turning the volume up!
Glad to hear so much progress is on the way for the C-10! Am surprised though that it looked like the primary tube for cylinder 8 was a little shorter than the other guys and I was under the impression that would hurt scavenging, figured it would help to have it come forward to meet the other pipes and match the length. Can’t wait to see this thing fired up!
Watching your shows has revitalized my ambition to drag out my cars spend (Lots & Lots ) of quid on cool ass parts like new holley brawler and intake, headers and a bunch more stuff .... Love all your shows haha!
Hell yeah those mufflers are the muscle truck specials he probably called David before he ordered them 😂. Can’t wait to hear “this is the music of my people!”
First episode I've seen in a while and I'm throughly impressed with how good these videos are getting! The graphics, transitions, edits, etc. are fricken awesome!
Iv a golden cocker spaniel here in ireland 🇮🇪 best a luck keeping your fella tired. My lad needs 2 hours walk for 1 mins rest 🤣best oul dog all the same 🙃
Great channel, awesome work and I really appreciate the effort you put into these, but if I hear someone explain back purging one more time I'm going to punch a hole through my computer screen!
Great video can't wait to hear the rhythmic rumble of that beast. I was interested in the Furick Markout Pro until I saw the price, at $1800 I'll stick with calculations and cuts that are a touch long then dial them in on the belt sander.
SO EXCITED TO SEE THIS THING COME TOGETHER! I have loved this thing since you started working on it. Bang up job yall. Buying a tig rig thanks to this channel!
I've never seen someone who welds so much and still has so much hair on there hands lol or im just to poor for good PPE lol either way keep cranking out videos to teach and entertain us thanks Fin and 12 volt dave
Highly recommend 5/8 drywall on your ceiling. Say you go to bed after welding and there's a small spark you have nothing to slow a fire through ceiling/floor of home
It's looking like I will need to fab headers for my Galaxie project and you make it look way easier than I know it is. We'll see if I build up the courage to do it or try to make something off the shelf work.
Best thing I did started useing blue lock on header bolts never a blown gasket again. Tighten from inside to outside get bolts very tight and no problems iron or alum heads. Also I use blue lock tight on most all bolts, oil pan, balancer, timing cover, fly wheel, header, distrubtor and more. Do the job right tight and once.
Finigan I would sugest that you put a big back panel with the big back window instead of the stock small winndow. LMC has the complete back panel for about $500. Will make the C 10 look much better!
A less expensive and more forgiving alternative for headers is using schedule pipe. It's thick enough it dosn't warp much, you can use a mig welder, you don't need to purge it (although it's a good idea), comes in all sorts of bends the one major drawback is it's quite heavy. Makes good short-mid length turbo headers but might not be practical for full long tube headers.
Awesome stuff! I've got a buddy that makes making headers look easy..it has to be one of the hardest things to fabricate..It seems to be about patience and practice!
Motion raceworks carrys plastic mockup blocks to build headers before you cut your tubing its like what your using but you can make the whole header and mirror it identically
Hey Mike, new audio is 10/10. Thank you for making the investment. Editing is great too. Thank you for that Christopher Read.

look at all the pretty gray showing up in the hair. and the truck is looking grate.

The first tack on the second flange i could see the whole collector pulled to one side right after you said how much stainless moves!! 😆
And here I thought it was just my eyes playing tricks on me as the piece moved, glad I wasn't the only one who saw that.
patiently came back for what felt like a years waiting for these weekly uploads of the c10. less gooooo

YES! Very cool guys. Thank you.
Them headers are bad ass. Nice job
That tubing jig you have to mark the angles is really nice!!

Loving the new microphones. Audio is way better.
Amazing what a person can build with unlimited budget

Most folks just here for the finished product. I'm with you though. Show us the fuckin maths!
Excellent Project.

Nice job Dave

I remember the first pipes you made for Blasphemy. I must say these are quite an improvement. Great video!
I was tempted to say something about Ray Charles and his feet, but I decided not to
Hey Mike when you get that thing to Kvegas be sure to let Kirkland hear it those are his favorite kind of mufflers. He likes em looouuuuud

I need a workshop like this.....
Hi Mike, it was good to see Ray Charles didn't do any welding this time....haha :) Cheers from Australia :)
You can always use flexible turbo pipe, radiator tube, etc. to wrap around the exhaust so the spacing is more consistent. A rag works though.
So glad to see you finally putting a date on finishing your c10! Mines still sitting with separated tires. The struggle is real.
Nice headers, but the Furick Markout Pro tool is $1800.00. Budget killer. Can`t wait to see the C10 running again.
I just saw the price too..... wow it’s just a glorified protractor!
best part... I can hear him!! Took so long to get a mic, loving it though.

Stainless headers hooked me up good. Love em. Keep up the great work Finn
I love seeing the picture of you and your son on the wall.
Far from being Roadkill. Great content.

getting ready to build a set for my truck in the next week or 2. biggest tool i wish i had was a vertical bandsaw!!!
Glad to finally see the push to get this truck done. Always been looking forward to it
I think you should get together with Freiburger for the road trip, it would be nice see to him in the mix! Roadkill reunion?!
Good job Finn
Newbern comedy is the best comedy .
There need be no comments about Ray Charles in this episode! Well done Finn & Newburn

Solar flux works well if you can't purge especially helpful for tacking

Happy to see the exhaust coming out the back instead of just dumping out the headers
