Having been playing this game since it's first release in 2000, it's impressive to see how far the building mechanics have come and how much freedom you have to recreate amazing things like this. I remember only being able to make giant square rooms as a kid and if you added a diagonal wall, it was "fancy" 😂
I have played since Sims 1 til today and I have zero building skills. Just no vision or style. This amazes me, my brain cannot comprehend how she just makes this happen 😍
@@bellarina Dude same 😂 my idea of decorating a room was just buying all the expensive items and just shoving them in there with no logic. As a kid, I was like " Yes, this is the dream house" 🤣
YES AroAce Wednesday, she’s always given the vibes even in the movies. The choice to give a love triangle attempt was strange but I hope it’s a chance for them to go full AroAce Wednesday.
imo i think they did it to show how it can be to be a woman, a lot of men will equate you talking to them or being "nice" as you being interested in them. but that's just my opinion
i dont know i dont like aroace wednesday because its a stereotype. the emotionally drawn away person is aroace because they hate affection and people...also shes def autistic which pushes the stereotype even more because so many autistic characters are aroace or are ALWAYS headcannoned as aroace. she is capable of romantic attraction but it doesnt form in the ways most peoples does. i would like if she did end up with a romance but it was a slow burn with enid because that makes sense for her character. my opinion you are entitled to yours :)
Made my day hearing you talk about how you love being autistic. My son just got diagnosed at 2 years old and everyone always apologizes for him having it.. it is not a bad thing so I was in literal tears. Thank you for being authentically you! ❤❤
It can definitely be tough and kind of lonely sometimes, but I definitely also love being autistic! And I think your son is already benefiting just by having a parent that loves and accepts him as he is!! My mom is the same (though I only got diagnosed in my 20s), and I really don't know where I'd be without her unconditional love, support, and encouragement to just be myself! Good luck to you and your son in overcoming any hurdles autism does throw your way, and hopefully people stop automatically assuming autism is always awful sooner than later!
I know this is an old comment but I thought you might appreciate this reply. One time I saw someone autistic on instagram living a pretty good life and some mum said that made her feel safer about her kid’s diagnosis. So back then I, autistic myself, thought “hey, my life is pretty good, she would probably like to hear it.” Apparently my life is so good it got flagged as a bot trying to sell something 😅
I agree bestie. I thought Wednesday was a 6/10 solely because the romance triangle was so pushed in the viewer’s face. I said the SAME THING to the “mixed signals” comment. BISH WHAT SIGNALS? Glad you agree. I wish we had more time to develop characters of Xavier and Thomas as well but oh well. Maybe next season. Also this build is *chef’s kiss* wowwowow. Amazing job!
I feel like Wednesday is more aroace than anything. Enid was definitely the closest thing she had to real love interest, but I still felt that in the end Wednesday was aroace. She did have those lines about her first celebrity crush, her type, and her first kiss, but they were almost more like.... typical teen milestones if you will as opposed to actual things I felt tied to Wednesday. I would accept gray-aro Wednesday as well. She could just feel romantic attraction so rarely and not that strong enough that she basically discounts it as anything in her life. A bunch of seating areas makes sense. Gotta have places to have study groups :D
You are spot on with the floor plan tip. I worked as a custom home designer and we would use other people's plans for insperation. Usually when it was a more difficult project. *We didn't copy just took things here and there from various designs.
This is an absolute work of art! Give yourself a huge pat on the back for this one Bestie 😍 The first time Uncle Fester comes on screen I looked at my husband and said "Holy crap he looks exactly like Plumbella's dad!" I'm so happy I'm not crazy 🤣
Wednesday rekindled my Addams family special interest and on one of my watch throughs of it I spent the whole time thinking about the school and how beautiful it it. This build was absolutely amazing I have nothing but respect and admiration for it! Amazing job!
one time I build the house from the 90s sabrina the teenage witch and it took me a whole week ✨️ loooveee getting inspired like this. I was only going to watch Wednesday while at the gym and I did for three episodes then I binged it all last night in bed because I couldn't wait anymore 🤩
Since you asked, I have not in fact seen Wednesday outside of clips. Not necessarily because it isn't my scene, just more that it takes a lot for me to want to sit down and watch an actual television show and this hits a few notes that I'm not super fond of seeing a lot anymore (the love triangle thing being the main one). That being said, baller build Plum!
i understand this entirely. imo i didnt think the "love triangle" was that bad, more than anything i just related to it. talking to men and then them being like "you're throwing me mixed signals! you talked to me that means you like me!" and im just confused. i finally got around to watching it and really enjoyed it tbh
I started a new game just to live my Addams family dreams and I want you to know that I tried pretty much every Nevermore build on the gallery to see which one I wanted to use for my school and yours was absolutely far and away my favorite. I'm amazed. The detail is SO GOOD. Thank you for spending three days on this masterpiece.
I just finished Wednesday tonight and really liked it! The 90s Addams Family movies are some of my favs! Addams Family Values is specifically in my top three movies of all time. I expected to like this a little more than I did but I also loved it. The story got a little messy in the middle but it seems like they will sort it out in an additional season/s. Love the build Jess!
I grew up watching the Addams family too, so I was really hesitant to watch Wednesday, because I though it would be very Americanized. I actually really loved it tho, the characters are really close to the original and the vibes were just spot on. Awesome build btw!! You can really tell that you worked hard on it and it paid off!!💕
Landscaping tip: Act as the landscaping is a tiered cake, big plants closest to the building and then smaller plants further away from the building. Feather the plants out.
I got one episode into wednesday and noped out. The family dynamics were WAY off. Morticia would NEVER talk to her daughter that way, and Gomez would never see anything wrong with Wednesdaycs behavior. Also apparently she's upset that there's murder?? Hello, it's Wednesday! If she's solving a murder, it's to prove that she would never be so sloppy. Also she had a whole plotline in Family Values about being aro/ace or at least Not Into Boys. That said, the actors were talented and the set is delightful. Very pleased to be able to explore it, thank you!!
I definitely want to watch Wednesday. But I got a new puppy and taking care of him has taken up most of my time But this video really makes me want to watch it. The academy looks so unique and full of life here, I can't wait to see it in the show.
I haven't watched Wednesday and I don't think I will, because while I love the Adams Family with my whole heart, I find some of the work of Tim Burton to rub me the wrong way. That said, this build is so epic! I'm a chronic tiny home builder myself so I couldn't even imagine doing a build of this scale. Well done!
BABES THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Don’t bring your landscaping down your way better than I am, PLUS YOU FRIGGIN PLUMBELLA SO YOUR STUNNINGLY FABULOUS AT EVERYTHING YOU DO ❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is phenomenal!! I've been saving the show for the semester ending and this has me even more hyped :D You did a great job with this! And as someone who likes sitting + novelty + attachment for "lonely" objects Iiiiiiii love the overabundance of seating areas, especially the conversation pit - very cozy! Except the balcony looking right down into it, that's both fun and cool with potential for awkward XD
This is amazing! Super impressed! Also, to answer your question, no I haven't finished Wednesday, but it's only because my partner keeps saying, "Don't watch it without me", but then they go to sleep. And I'm not good at pretending like I haven't seen something, because trust me, I considered watching it without them and then acting surprised when necessary, but I don't believe I could pull it off
I watched about 15 minutes of it, my room mate was watching it and I sat there while my dinner was cooking. It just looked like it wasn't for me. Everyone I know has seen it, and keeps asking me if I've seen it, but it's just not calling to me for some reason. Your build is amazing, though!
Captain Hedman was having a sad, but you made him feel better watching your enthusiasm and doing all this fun stuff. Now he has to go watch the show which he has been putting off because he has been dealing with family, and corgis, and silliness.
Also, don't write off neuro spicy Romance just yet. I found someone who adored me and I adore. And we do craft projects and other things on opposite ends over living space and get together to food and harass our fluffy Muppet. Just make sure they hate the same things you do but don't hate any of the things that you like and vice versa. Also wait a while before committing so you figure out what they do when they get angsty when things don't go their way or get crazy.
I would LOVE to see this kind of challenge building to become a more common thing for you! It's great seeing you push your building skills! Also i am TERRIFIED of all the roofing here, i struggle when Generic Victorian #4's roof clips lol
Haven't watched the show, I'm sure I will eventually. I go through periods of time were I just don't feel interested in shows or movies. But I'm sure I'll like it once I do get to it. Beautiful build!! Absolutely love it.
This build is beautiful you crusheddddd this. Also your loving tangent about gen z! I feel the same way. I really admire the younger generation for being so wonderful. 💖
I don't understand how people even make huge, complicated builds like this, let alone make them look *good.* I can do small to regular size houses and simple apartment shells decently well, but the thought of making mansions and community lots intimidates me so much... >_> Seriously though, this looks so freakin' good.
Can we take a moment to appreciate how far Jesses building skills have come! I would argue you are a creative builder with LOTS of skills because otherwise, you wouldnt be able to pull this off as well as you did! Using other peoples floorplans does not make you uncreative, its just a different stream. Love your work bestie
Honestly I’m pretty confident in my landscaping skills in the sims games. I always “just spam it out”, it’s the only secret to anyone who’s wondering. One tip that I think is important is just look at beautifully landscaped houses on the gallery and even house selling websites for reference.
Landscaping tip from a North East hen: You could go to Alnwick gardens. Then try and recreate the areas. The water fountain collection area, the poison garden, the fancy courtyard garden at the top of the main fountains. Or the forbidden corner! Class garden in the North East. I was so scared of it as a kid though. Also big landscape statements can be achieved with colour. Like all the flowers could be acid green and lavender colour. Or maybe the flowers are all pinks and purples, with the odd yellow one to accent. Common "styles" of garden: cottage, mediterranean, woodland, manicured, architectural. You could also have an allotment style section or a more formal "kitchen garden". The allotment style can be seen in the miners cottages at Beamish. The big manour house has a manicured style in the back garden. Gardens are something to explore, as you walk through, you are drawn in. Which is hard to replicate in the Sims, lord save us from the slow walking and pathfinding. Also I love Monet's garden (special interest of mine). But that's in the North of France. There's lots of info on his garden available if you wanted to try and recreate it. His house is also amazing.
So, WRT to landscaping. The best way to go about it is to put the taller plants in the back and then get shorter as you move forward in the plant bed. You also can cover up the trunks of trees with bushes and flowers. So when you're zoomed out the tree makes a good anchor point, but when you're zoomed in you don't see like a random bald patch or dirt splotch. Obviously, terrain paint the dirt and some pathways. Lastly, more is more. Layering plants makes the look more random, and that makes them look more natural.
Just wanted to say that I've been watching you for years, and you are the main reason I started my own twitch account here recently. Having autism and streaming seemed so daunting to me until I was able to see your journey, tysm 💕
I haven't watched it because, from the clips I've seen, I don't like how they pit Wednesday and Morticia against each other. The Addams family love each other!
I think it looks very good and very like the concept art you showed. Absolutely Amazing build! I personally would have gone more for the castle this was partially filmed in. Your build has more of a cartoony vibe like the concept art and also of course like the game itself. You asked for some tips. I only have two tips. Practicing roofing a bit. Like how to build a roof around a room for getting a functional mansard roof. Which trims don't glicth through the walls and how to tell the game where is the outside of a room and inside of a room, so the roofs don't glitch inside. Since you are good with floor plans, I would suggest doing your floorplan first,so you know where to put the roofs after. landscaping: I think you did well, for the cartoony vibe you were going for. Some debug plants you chose for example the big cluster of trees have a huge footprint and placing them so close to your house will block your sims not reaching some tiles. Some debug plants have a 1 tile footprint. These would maybe be better. I personally would have made some plants way smaller than you, but then again maybe not... like you did it it has this cartoon vibe. When the foliage is way smaller it makes the building look way bigger in perspective. So for big castles and grand mansions with parks etc. this is what I would go for. Yeah these were the only two things you asked for help and tips. I hope I can send you some of my builds to do the interior. I hate doing interior decorating, since it just never interests me. Because you are an absolute talent!!!! Nevermore academy looks absolutely amazing!
Wow this build is amazing! Saw you posted this and hadn't watched Wednesday yet, binged it and finished it last night! You did an awesome job capturing the vibe of the school. So beautiful, I love it!
Never seen Wednesday yet, not sure why as I loved Adams Family as a kid. For some reason, I've never liked watching series when people are hyped about it. Weird flex I know. But, I'm sure I'll get around to it in about a year or 2's time. Loved the build! x
jesse this build is so breathtaking!!! I can't believe it *only* took 3 days lmao. seriously this is one of the best builds I remember seeing on your channel!!
This has to be one of the best, if not my most favorite build I've seen. It's huge! But I love the attention to details like all of the dorm bisexuals haha. I loved the show, I'm ready for a rewatch over Yule. I agree Wednesday is queer in some capacity. I definitely saw a lot of relatable moments to my life of going with the flow when a boy asks her out but there's never really any interest on her side. Enjoying that it's more ambiguous atm, but I stg I kept thinking "Why are there so many boys? What is with all these boys?". They just kept popping up! Too many lol!
I haven't watched it yet but it is right up my alley. I've just been too busy with work and watching Christmas movies in my free time. Hopefully will watch it eventually
Oh my god. Jesse this is amazing you did such a wonderful job! It's magical honestly. I give up I officially am sticking to square houses from now on there is no way I can even build half as creatively as you lovely
This build is jaw-dropping. And you are 1000000% right about the romance stuff. I'm super into Wenclair, and definitely that or Wednesday being aroace are the only things that make sense. Her being straight and into any of those boys is just completely unbelievable.
This build is so beautiful! I also made a Nevermore build earlier this year, and it was interesting to see how differently you interpreted the floorplan, and to hear about your thought process. If you'd want to, I think it would be cool to see you tour some of the other Nevermore builds and hear your thoughts on it!
I need to watch Wednesday! I keep putting it off because I haven't had time to watch it in one sitting and that kind of show I really just wanna watch it all at once. This build is beautiful and I can't imagine having enough patience to do this.
Omg this is so impressive!! My adhd brain could never, I mourn for all the massive sins builds I took on when I was inspired that have been left half finished 😭
This looks amazing!! As to your question though; I haven't watched Wednesday because I have a strange aversion to watching the things that everyone is obsessed with? Not because of any like, "ugh, I'm too COOL to follow the MASSES" type attitude, but because it feels like too much pressure. Like I'm obligated to be as crazy about it as everyone else, and don't have the space to just mildly enjoy or even dislike it. Also because even if I DO adore it...I don't--I don't have the brain room for another obsession. Please, there's so much in there already, I can't cram another one in. Just let me ignore things in peace. 😭😂
point 1) this is fantastic! i tried to do the og addams family house in the sims and it genuinely killed me off point 2) somewhat related, i did attempt to watch wednesday but the addams family is like a massive hyperfixation for me but only the 60s version so change is already a tenacious issue. i got halfway through episode one and got annoyed at the way they portrayed morticia and gomez so i gave up 😭😭
This build is gorgeous!!! I started watching the show the day it came out but I’ve not yet finished for a few reasons. Couldn’t name them as my brain just shoves them at me like, “Here, stop watching. Tell you why? No…” but I guess I just don’t vibe with it all that much despite loving the character 😅
this build is absolutely amazing and i love the landscaping so much but i think it really could have benefited with the t.o.o.l. mod by twisted mexi. the huge debug rocks and trees could have really transformed the whole area and make it feel more "secluded." it's just a great mod for massive builds like this
Whooo hey hens… I had to instant click! Omg. Just finished this! Incredible. Just wow. 🎉 and I loved the landscaping don’t know if it helps but I look to you for tips!! ❤❤❤
I just went and downloaded it even though I have almost no packs, I also had to put it in the jungle because that's my only 64×64 lot. So I think I'm going to convert it into an abandoned overgrown castle. Thanks so much, this build is AMAZING and it's going to be so much fun to play with ❤️
I love this, you've captured Nevermore really well! I would love love love to see you build the Pink Palace from Coraline! That was one of my first big build attempts in Sims 3 , good mems 🥹
You might like the new heartbreak high on Netflix it’s got really great representation and it’s funny to see an Australian high school perspective instead of the typical American or British lol.
I think "good" landscapers know how to make a build look realistic with landscaping, however I think that the way you landscaped this is very sims, like it gives me sims 2 vibes somehow, which I love

I don't understand how people even make huge, complicated builds like this, let alone make them look *good.* I can do small to regular size houses and simple apartment shells decently well, but the thought of making mansions and community lots intimidates me so much... >_>
Seriously though, this looks so freakin' good.
Just seeing this. Amazing work! Amazing personality! I had more fun enjoying you talk in this video than the build itself, and the build is amazing!
Honestly I’m pretty confident in my landscaping skills in the sims games. I always “just spam it out”, it’s the only secret to anyone who’s wondering. One tip that I think is important is just look at beautifully landscaped houses on the gallery and even house selling websites for reference.
Jesse?! This is amazing! haven’t clicked a notification faster!
Landscaping tip from a North East hen:
You could go to Alnwick gardens.
Also also I bloody love Wednesday. I may try and build nevermore in Minecraft.
This is seriously so impressive, ai think this might be one of the coolest builds In have ever seen just period.
This is AMAZING. You really need to give yourself more credit because this is absolutely STUNNING. ❤
Plumbella you did an amazing job on building Nevermore Academy!👏 Well done!!💜
Her being straight and into any of those boys is just completely unbelievable.
jesse- this is genuinely amazing and i am so stunned by this build!
This build is so beautiful! I also made a Nevermore build earlier this year, and it was interesting to see how differently you interpreted the floorplan, and to hear about your thought process. If you'd want to, I think it would be cool to see you tour some of the other Nevermore builds and hear your thoughts on it!
12:48 have you read the Raven Cycle?!? I love that book!
thats so crazy and it looks so good, i already put the main cast into my game :-))
Whoa, thank you for sharing such an amazing build. It came together so well, it's just a build to die for
This is awesome! As soon as I saw Nevermore I wanted to build it, but I don't think I could top this!
"When in doubt spam the landscaping out!" LOL, this is amazing oh my goodness guuurrl!🔥♥
I need to watch Wednesday! I keep putting it off because I haven't had time to watch it in one sitting and that kind of show I really just wanna watch it all at once. This build is beautiful and I can't imagine having enough patience to do this.
I stan the 90s Morticia Addams. ❤❤ Angelica Houston is my absolute fave! Even in The Witches she was awesome. Love that movie too.
only tip I have for landscaping is the more grass the better and changing the spray colours with the dirt and different shades of green
point 1) this is fantastic! i tried to do the og addams family house in the sims and it genuinely killed me off
point 2) somewhat related, i did attempt to watch wednesday but the addams family is like a massive hyperfixation for me but only the 60s version so change is already a tenacious issue. i got halfway through episode one and got annoyed at the way they portrayed morticia and gomez so i gave up 😭😭
Hyper focus for the win here! This is amazing Jesse x
This build is gorgeous!!! I started watching the show the day it came out but I’ve not yet finished for a few reasons. Couldn’t name them as my brain just shoves them at me like, “Here, stop watching. Tell you why? No…” but I guess I just don’t vibe with it all that much despite loving the character 😅
it could be a special interest *spends 9 hours making nevermore academy in the sims 4* I LOVE IT
this build is absolutely amazing and i love the landscaping so much but i think it really could have benefited with the t.o.o.l. mod by twisted mexi. the huge debug rocks and trees could have really transformed the whole area and make it feel more "secluded." it's just a great mod for massive builds like this
You did such an amazing job!! Holy cowplant!
Also i COMPLETELY agree with you on the love triangle. It made me cringe so hard. It was so forced
Whooo hey hens… I had to instant click! Omg. Just finished this! Incredible. Just wow. 🎉 and I loved the landscaping don’t know if it helps but I look to you for tips!! ❤❤❤
This looks SO much like Nevermore! You did a great job. Also, my 12 year old daughter is autistic, and Wednesday is her hero. I'm kinda proud, tbh. :)
What a mega build!!! You are so unbelievably talented! I'm so beyond impressed💕💕💕
I just went and downloaded it even though I have almost no packs, I also had to put it in the jungle because that's my only 64×64 lot. So I think I'm going to convert it into an abandoned overgrown castle. Thanks so much, this build is AMAZING and it's going to be so much fun to play with ❤️
I've been fascinated with the goth subculture for awhile now and I quite enjoyed Wednesday. Goth is cool.
I haven’t watched Wednesday and probably won’t but I’m here to support you and say I’m proud of you hen, well done
Addams Family is a huge special interest of mine so I was counting down the days for Wednesday. I loved it!!!
I just finished building my very first high school... think I have to start over now because this is such a cool idea! I love how it turned out.
I love this, you've captured Nevermore really well! I would love love love to see you build the Pink Palace from Coraline! That was one of my first big build attempts in Sims 3 , good mems 🥹
this is abolutely stunnen!! genuinely you did such a good job with it
bloody brilliant, and landscaping is amaaazing
Love this video plumbella and I would love it if you could build Hogwarts from Harry potter in the Sims.
Nicely done! Three days is pretty damn good, it would have taken me a hell of a lot longer than that. Looking forward to the next season!
You might like the new heartbreak high on Netflix it’s got really great representation and it’s funny to see an Australian high school perspective instead of the typical American or British lol.
Amazingly done as always! 🙌
Just finished watching the series, and I need more
This is amazing work! You've really out done yourself!!
This is INCREDIBLE! I haven't watched Wednesday yet because school was kicking my ass, but I'll definitely check the show out this winter break,
I think "good" landscapers know how to make a build look realistic with landscaping, however I think that the way you landscaped this is very sims, like it gives me sims 2 vibes somehow, which I love
