Simple Delay is also useful for a tape stop effect...used it once so far takes a bit of time and tweaking but its pretty neat...you get there similar to how you get the "space noise" effect with the ping pong delay

    Cheers for the video!
Wasn't very easy to find Part 1 (in fact I'm still looking for it 😂)
Would be useful if you put it a link in the description.

If you can't find the same Ping Pong delay used in the video.... In Live 10.1 and later, Simple Delay and Ping Pong Delay have been replaced by a unified device called Delay. Those devices are no longer available in the browser.

Is there a way you can make a macro to a piano ''chord '' And Stay in key no matter where you click its on key ?

Sure thing let me work on that for you!

DJ LIBRA - try using the Scale and Chord midi devices in combination - generally you want Chord before Scale. Theoretically you can set it up to play a triad chord or whatever, and the scale device will transpose the notes to keep them in key.

disable snap is actually alt on windows. You can nudge notes with alt + left or right arrow too btw

@@NoizeLondon Yessir. This is a good channel, great presentation. I know you get more unsolicited suggestions than are probably welcome, but it would be cool to see you eventually go into stuff that's more intermediate & advanced.
There's near infinite "how to use [processor]" tutorials and only a small handful of pensado's place types. Anyway, I've subscribed. Looking forward to seeing more - good luck

Could you be more specific about what plugins or fx you would like covered or what topics in particular?

    • @bobyatron7525

@@NoizeLondon eq vs multiband dynamics is a good one! Thats definitely more up my alley. This probably isnt particularly helpful, but when i talk about covering more advanced or more in depth content, I'm thinking about mixing, mastering, and listening skills that are applicable for someone like me - someone with lets say between 3 and 5 years of (albeit self taught) experience, which would help me narrow the skill gap with someone like you.
Sadly it's hard for me to get very specific because over the years I've consumed lots of this type of content and i cant confidently say what I'm missing. Listening skills is a huge one. Identifying subtle changes in EQ and dynamics, for example. I dont know how one would teach that though; after about 4-5 years i feel like im just becoming competent at it.
Things like using Utility to automate gain or mono the low frequencies is kind of day one stuff. I'll still happily watch because anyone can use a refresher and a new perspective on old info, especially when the presentation and editing are so good. But i know you've got a much deeper pool of knowledge. That's what im interested in!
