    Please note that as one of the followers pointed out - the side cut won't make everything entirely mono and you will need a secondary tool create this change BUT - this a just a simple tutorial for your DEMO, not for final mastering ;)

    Ayeee CHICAGO! Way better EQ video than other ones I’ve seen. But I work 2 jobs, so for now I can’t spend time mastering my own music. So I rather go with the pro like Fabio 💯🎵💪 One day I hope to be a beast in mastering my own music like you dude.

    • @NoizeLondon
      @NoizeLondon  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Listen again and try to focus on the overall feeling rather than big changes.

    • @Vospi
      @Vospi 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, because the difference is miniscule and the talk is big.
      Good voice, good light, I'm sure a good person, bad tutorial and example. Focusing people on things that are not playing major roles. Seeling them stuff. Entertainment. Ugh, that intro.
      - Filtering side on the master: the hell low side on master is there for to begin with? Why filter on master and not on the channel itself? Complete neutering of side freqs doesn't work for everything, either.
      - Low cut on master is a phase shifting issue, and low freqs are ones where you'd really like to avoid that and to have control. Meanwhile, we just cut, why not. Again, how does one end up having a lot of ultra lowfreqs in a SYNTHETIC track? Don't we want to focus on that instead? It's not like there were mics and we have no control over our source.
      - You want to lower 132 Hz? Lower on the offender. But yeah, this one depends and I guess I should not be upset about it.
      - You want to accent the hats? Accent the hats. Use dynamic EQ or transient shaper, or ADSR, for god's sake, if you're determined to go stock (and the method is great); to make the attacks (or releases, effects are different) go higher COMPARATIVELY TO OTHER ELEMENTS and other moments in time, not statically for the whole!
      It's a long long history in audio production. People saying big sweet words and giving almost esotherical explanations, alongside with real theory and experience, to be fair.
      The caveat of "a demo" is just plain bad. Don't go for a band-aid method when you have your whole mix lying in front of you and it works fine in real time. It's not 2001 anymore. We can do good things.

    • @NoizeLondon
      @NoizeLondon  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Vospi You've totally missed the point of the video. We're treating it as if it were a master, not the mix.

  • @LeSonduGrec
    @LeSonduGrec 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey fabio,
    It's completely out of the topic, but why your main monitors (focal) are not respecting the triangle equilateral rule ?
    Wich is "same distance between both monitors and your ears" .
    I supposed you couldn't make it as your room is not enough big, but does it really matter?
    Thanks and full support as always

    • @NoizeLondon
      @NoizeLondon  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Loïc!
      Nope nothing to do with my room not being big enough... if anything my room is too big haha!
      The equilateral triangle 'rule' is more of a guideline. Speaker placement is about what works for you, for the speaker and for the room and can vary from depending on personal preference.
      I would be weary of rules as they can confine us to believe that math and measurements is better than what our ears want to hear ;)
      Thanks for watching again bud - I hope that answers your question!

    • @Austin-vk1lw
      @Austin-vk1lw 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I've been producing for 14 years of my life and I really could say that only 4 years ago I started releasing I was proud of and that people liked. 10,000 hours is what it takes to become a professional so keep grinding.
