@@One.Zero.One101 if the issue here is a conflict of interest, how are most pundits who support and love a team get hired to critique. Wouldn't it be the same; conflict of interest.
Craig is spot on. His whole point is the reason why Top Gear was such a success on BBC. The show could give their personal opinions about the products without having to worry about the companies withholding future sponsorship revenue.Every show in the United States cannot give an unbiased review because they need these companies to continue sponsoring these shows with commercials and add revenue.
There's a difference between "being friends" and "having a professional relationship". Just because being friends with players compromises you doesn't mean you can't talk to them at all. You definitely should. Your job is to analyse situations and give an educated opinion. In other words you should educated yourself as much as you can. If someone is oddly out of form - it's okay to ask around why that might be. If you're unsure about team atmosphere, reasoning for certain substitutions or starters - ask around! Not to then quote them or even take them by their word but to get a better idea of what's going on and what factors to consider.
JD Brown how does he have to? If he was biased towards salah then he’d have him over sterling. Just admit that you’re wrong. Stevie honest and objective just like Craig. They don’t play politics like the others
It's too obvious people who hate nicol because of his playing history, that's the FIRST reason more so than his real opinion. When you hate someone whatever good or facts they speak it sounds garbage and bias to its haters
Poch and Gary Neville, if that was a Liverpool or City manager berating the ref he would be asking for a ban and going on about how their head is gone.
Great video as always. But why the sound level is always so low on these videos? I adjust the volume for ESPN FC and then jump off my chair when I start to listen to the next video. 😀
Brian McBride is right, if anyone has paid attention to English punditry you would have seen over the years freshly retired players criticizing their old teammates or managers and then the current players and managers hitting back at them. Two prime examples are Manchester United with Gary Neville, Roy Keane, Paul Scholes and Arsenal with Henry, Ian Wright, Tony Adams. It happens all the time
@@ihateeverythingtodowithlif8326 Not really. He's quite objective to Man U. Although he's welcome at Old Trafford, he doesn't hold back on criticism. Gaz's only thing is that he'll never demand/suggest a managers sacking.
A lot like Talksport with Redknapp and Allardyce. Friends of the station who never get criticized just arselicking from people like Durham, Brazil and White.
Craig getting savage at the end there. With the amount of players in football there is a serious lack of personalities, that could sell and promote the game. Why is it just Neymar, Ronaldo & Messi? They're the best players but Troy Deeney just being a cheeky bastard about Arsenal got him on tv shows in the UK.
WORST PUNDITS EVER: Michael Owen, Chris Sutton, Robbie Savage, Danny Murphy, Alexi Lalas, Taylor Twellman, Stevie Nicol, Phil Neville, Martin Keown, Owen Hargreaves, Tim Sherwood, Craig Bellamy, Jermaine Jenas and Thierry Henry. ALL SHIT PUNDITS.
Abyss not Jamie Carragher, he has routinely called out Liverpool players over the years. He’s been saying for years that their defence was shit and that the goalkeepers weren’t good enough and that klopp had to change his style of football. Gary Neville and Michael Owen are biased though
Dan it's been 3 days I'm asking you a simple question: why the double standard between Sarri and Pochettino in their criticism? Answer this instead of going around with these stupid questions. Thank you.
Well said Craig Burley . English tv is full of those who cant give an opinion. Anyone who saw the awful interview between Jamie Redknapp and Pogba a few weeks ago will testify to what Craig said.
Craig your full of it... you havent got no football mates and if you have they are not involved with the game anyway.... craig and steve remind me of the scotish CHUCKLE BROTHERS!!!!!
113 Games for Chelsea 90 Games for Celtic 73 Games for Derby County + 46 Caps for Scotland Kenny Dalglish he isn't indeed, but if you don't know who Craig Burley is, then you either don't pay too much attention to British Football, or you are like 15 years old. Have a little respect eh?
Brian is American , its hard for him to understand these kind of standards anything Other than controversy. Look at Gab and Sarri.Lmao. Gab embarrasses himself sooo often because of this.
You can be friends as long as you can take some heat without getting butthurt,
it don't happen tho
Craig actually makes sense in this segment lol
he makes sense more than most usually
Zach Pisciotta he makes sense usually but you’re just dumb as fuhh
He always does.
@@One.Zero.One101 if the issue here is a conflict of interest, how are most pundits who support and love a team get hired to critique. Wouldn't it be the same; conflict of interest.
wright is fair on arsenal and is friends with wenger. he criticised him a lot towards the end.
This is why I respect burley and nicol the most. They say what they feel, with no agendas behind it. Gab and Julien are compromised
JD 1 first time I see someone that says they respect Stevie lol
michael owen is the worst pundit
Really!!!
@@footballerscomparison6631 why would i have said it otherwise ?
take him over these fools!
Ian Dunphy from Scotland is far worse.

Stevie is quite because he is thinking about his last night with Mo Salah
thats why he always critics him ans even put Raheem Sterling over him

Olu Ade agreed, it’s pure bias. Which why I’ll always respect nicol and burley more. Even if their opinion is wrong, at least they aren’t compromised

In almost every case , Craig would be right about explayer/pundits. Except , Gary Neville breaks that logic.
What are you talking about, Gary Neville is the most compromised of the lot.

Whose Gab's manager of the year? Wenger? Ancellotti?
Mourinho is my hero gets fired from his job for doing terrible and gets paid millions
@Hydro HD Guardiola was still playing football in 2006
Pundits just talk as much bs as they can
That’s their job apparently

Well said Craig
6:46 Shut yo ass HAHAHAHAHAAAA
Ironic that the pundit shows more integrity than the journalist.
How is this different from criticizing a team you favor/hate?
Craig is by far the most intelligent man on panel in every segment. He nails every analysis and isn't afraid to dish it when it's deserved.
None of them are right/intelligent in every segment. I think Gab is most of the time, but Craig is very reasonable & is right here.
Lots of pundits these days are out of job managers waiting for a new job so they gotta keep potential players happy
You guys when you sleep ?
Craig blatantly talking about Chris Sutton when he talks of ambassadors
Craig is so right. Great pundit!
If a manager listened to Steve Nichol, the team would be relegated mid season
Craig getting savage at the end there. With the amount of players in football there is a serious lack of personalities, that could sell and promote the game. Why is it just Neymar, Ronaldo & Messi? your old players , speaking from your perspectives it is totally different if you had played over the past 10 years .
gab is uncomfortable 😂

I think there is bias in all sports especially sports like the NBA and NFL
Pundits can be friends with whoever they want df
Damn wouldn't want nicol or burley as a friend. They wouldn't tell me the truth at all

The reason Burley doesn't text players is because nobody knows who he is or played for. Kenny Dalglish he isn't.

Doesn't matter if he's friends with lloris he's still not a top goal keeper
Craig burley has bad knowledge, coaches learn all the time its why young managers go foreign to learn new drills.
