I think it's time referees should be interviewed to know the reasons behind most of their decisions on pitch

Well he was paid for it by Man City's owners, right?
I mean I don't think Arsenal has anything to complain about the ref tonight, that's a bit sketchy.
Amazing ref inconsistency, but also the pundit inconsistency. Slating Arsenal for celebrating a point away last year, but praising City for salvaging a point against 10 men.
Money Talks
So true 😂😂😂
I think the difference is the timing of the goals. Of course you celebrate a goal in added time.
If City equalised 60 mins in and celebrated at the end, they would get slated.
exactly that, city salvaged a point whereas arsenal played for the draw from the start, how is that the same thing?
@@tommy437 Exactly!👏 👏 👏
How odd for pundits to be praising the 'mighty' City for drawing at home against 10 men Arsenal 😂Michael Oliver was clearly City's Motm.

The spin Arsenal fans are putting on that result is mind blowing 😂
Havertz easily could've been shown a red first 20 seconds, referee calls Walker over dragging him out of position then allows free kick to be taken. Completely changed the momentum City would've won easily otherwise

Not forgetting City owners were playing Michael Oliver to ref in their country. Talk of conflict of interest.
Really wanted to see this game without that red card. Second half would've been a 50-50 match
Arsenal would’ve won, common sense says that they were 2-1 up with Rodri off the pitch and the momentum in their favour. They didn’t lose with 10 men imagine they had 11? Just to me there was a big probability city would’ve lost
I think city would have had a better chance of winning vs 11 than 10. That defensive block was difficult to break down, credit to arsenal for their hard work.

Arsenal, like City, hasn't lost a game this season. But Arsenal, unlike City, has dropped points only when the games were changed in favour of their opponents through red cards given to Arsenal players in controversial circumstances.
Like Arsenal's goals weren't controversial in their own right.
City does not rely on taking a free kick 10 yards from the allowed position + cage in the goalkeeper with 3 players to score. Arsenal are cheating so disgustingly. Also injuring Rodri on purpose is enough to hate on them.

The thing is it is a yellow. I agree Doku should've been booked but it is still a red.
PGMOL are corrupt. Michael Oliver has been paid £20,000 to referee games for City's owners in the Middle East. Is that not a massive conflict of interest? There's been over 100 instances of players kicking the ball away to frustrate a freekick this season. Only 3 players have been booked. Rice. Saliba. Trossard. Can you guess what all 3 have in common? @@nathanj109 We don't care about runners up.
Utd former player and celebrating your rival stones goal shows u how Arsenal is vs the World 💀🤡
Carra - City never looked like scoring... that's cos no-one took a chance!!! they had Arsenal playing 5-4-0 with no outlet from the pressure for over 45mins, and all CIty did was pass it from side to side! That's credit to Arsenal, but shows that you can stifle the space by playing 2 banks of 4 or 5 and City run out of ideas.
Remember when Michael Oliver didn't send Kovacic off for two TERRIBLE tackles that each could have been a red because "it would ruin the match"? So let's send Trossard off for a second yellow that doing what both Doku and Silva did and didn't even get a talking to. How is he still allowed to be a ref lol.
Check Oliver’s bank accounts
Carragher this was City v Arsenal wtf has it got to do with John Stones goaline clearance v Liverpool ? Whatever the setting you always have to involve Liverpool
This Arsenal defence in the 2nd half is the best defensive performance I have ever seen. They had 10 men. They were away. They were up against arguably the best club team in the world. As good as Arsenal have been in the last 2 or 3 seasons, we all thought they would get rinsed in that 2nd half but the defensive gameplan Arsenal executed, was unreal. I have never seen a game of football like it. The desperation by Arsenal to keep the scoreline at 2-1 was amazing. I've just never seen a game like this and it shows why Arsenal are truly contenders (and I think the only contenders) to Man City for the league. It's a real shame that equalizer happened. I don't even support Arsenal.
Two clowns covering up for the pgmol
Great to see Gary Neville on the Gary Neville podcast.
These pundits always talking about having to beat city at the etihad to win the league is rubbish. Arsenal form in December cost them the league last season. Otherwise they would of won it quite comfortably.also the villa game at home.
Gary says Arsenal will remember these two points. Last year they won one game and drew the other with City and didn't win the league.
You really aren't good at giving opinions
It was a great game and the match that this rivalry needed, a bit of quality and needle. Calafiori is going to be a real asset for Arsenal and I don't think it's realised how good his goal was.
I really think that Arsenal needed to beat them today, especially without having Rodri or De Bruyne on the pitch...Even if it was just to get the psychological edge over City. It also would have immediately nulled City's chanced of winning the League unbeaten - which is the one thing that City haven't accomplished.
Arsenal defended more or less immaculately, tied down City at set-pieces and deserved the win but nobody will remember that. They should have gone for the third goal and they probably would have got it because they had City on the ropes at times.
They have to beat then at the Emirates to win the League.
City won the league without beating Arsenal once last season, I don't REALLY think Arsenal needs to beat them at the Emirates, although it would be good. Arsenal just needs to not draw/lose to inferior teams like they did last season because they're unbeaten vs the big 6
@@kaysheye7784 Yes I know that but Arsenal are still the challengers and I think needed to beat the Champions. Not just "not lose".
@@georgef822 and if Arsenal did win the narrative would have been exactly that, they won against city without Rodri and debruyne, disregard odegaard wasn’t there
Jamie calling someone daft 😂😂
The daftest defender to ever play the game 😂😂
As an Arsenal fan, here’s my unbiased take on some key moments.
- Doku should be booked for delaying the restart*
*I believe he doesn’t get booked as Oliver wanted the free kick moved back around 10/15 years and poorly communicated that on the pitch.
- Trossard only has himself to blame and in my opinion, he lets the team down today. Reckless and sloppy in the first half to get booked and on a yellow, you CANNOT give the ref a decision to make. The challenge on Silva wasn’t given as a yellow… but it could’ve been! Stupid. He needs to be smarter.
- City were incredibly poor in the second half and got very lucky with the deflected goal.
- We defended amazingly well but switched off for the corner.
Overall, it feels like a loss. I think our only chance to win the league this season is to beat City twice. Let’s see how things play out.
January transfer window the board need to back Arteta. We need a striker and a backup for Martin.
it's great to see jamie neville on the gary carragher podcast.
This was one hell of a game but the shitty ref always ruins the game for everyone including us neutrals
Who thinks Jamie prefers the CBS crew or the Sky crew😂?
CBS does clear sky
One rule for Arsenal and one rule for others. Sky sports became big under United & Arsenal rivalry but are ALWAYS BIAS AGAINST ARSENAL. Weird 😢
Defending the corruption is crazy, I can't take either of these idiots seriously.
Man city is the English Barcelona. Always allowed to cheat and idiots praising the team.
Don't be a sore loser, it's sad.
@@Alx-h9g who lost today?
Are we saying then that if 11 players stay on the pitch, Arsenal win the game? Does that mean Arsenal are above city's level, financial doping notwithstanding
So happy to have Gary Neville on the Gary Neville podcast
Haha great one!
So original!!!!!
Can't believe they don't give credit to Arsenal for not losing to City with a man down, all thy do is credit city for chasing the game for 45 minutes. The Arsenal hate is real
So what your saying is the season is over, so what do we do for the next 33 games
Do they realize there is still 35 games to go and Arsenal already 3 of the most difficult away games out of the way with key injuries and 0 Ls.
They still gotta come back to the emirates, Villa away, spurs away, etc etc
What's scary is arsenal would of easily won this game had trossard not been sent off. It's very clear arsenal are a level above city now.
😂 is this a joke? Do you realise City didn’t have Rodri or De Bruyne? Arsenal are still no where near City 😂, City with Rodri and de bruyne are unbeatable, they’d beat Arsenal 3-0
Haha. 😂
We were the better team before the sending off, arsenal had a screamer and a header
@@samlynch1265uhh we didn't have Ødegaard and Tomiyasu. Did everyone forget our no.1 concern coming to this game😂
Haaland's fifth G/A on Dogbriel's head. Talk about ownership 😂
it must be a huge feeling of defeat for arsenal...
What???.
City bottled it, playing against 10 Arsenal players for 55 minutes and they scrape an equaliser in the last few seconds?
It’s weird, a draw that will feel like a defeat. Weird considering most arsenal fans would have taken the draw when it started.
Feels like a loss. Regardless, the ref robbed the neutrals of a great second half 11v11
Are you serious? Getting a point from that game with 10 men was a great result. That's 4 games city haven't beaten Arsenal now.
