You know...because of Loki's power of projection, combined with his time/space powers, he can be anywhere and anywhen while still holding the multiverse together. He's powerful.
Hows he keeping them alive ...dude just apart from his god level strength, unlimited energy and almost a mastery on time - control it, stop it, bending it. He is giving his life force into strands of time, that makes up the tree of life. Man ... What a glorious purpose.
I feel like people forgot as the show progressed, that Loki is a God. He's a Frost Giant, trained in the way of sorcery by his adopted mother. He is on par with Thor in many ways. So using those powers to keep the timelines alive is well within his abilities. But probably takes a lot of effort, even for a God.
@@zairman Personally I don't think in the MCU he's JUST a Frost Giant... I think about the time Thor was born Hela felt her place as heir was at risk so she made an alliance with the Frost Giants and had Laufey's child to seal the union. That's what caused the war, that's why Loki is so much like Hela in looks/abilities and style, and that's why Loki was so small for a Frost Giant and was so easily changed to look like a full Asgardian. Odin didn't adopt a random Frost Giant prince, he adopted his grandson!
It goes even deeper: in one of the animated shows, it was confirmed by Thor that Asgardians become continuously stronger as they age, he gets hit by Thanos with the time stone trying to age the avengers and Thor goes beast mode. Loki was walking into the temporal radiation. He aged by thousands, maybe millions of years. He is quite possibly the most powerful semi-asgardian alive
I think it was more a refrence to Loki as the god of stories, his most powerfull form, as well as the new multiverse being formed into the new world tree yggdrasil, or in this case the multiverse tree.
Who would have thought that Loki would become the god who overwatches all things through time and space (through act of sacrifice no less)? Honestly, as a human being, I wouldn't want any other god in that position. He's gone through all hubris known to mankind, which makes him relatable. Literally been stomped in every way possible. Possibly the best written character arc of all time in Marvel universe to date. Also, Mobius having this Odin-like presence (as a single father of two kids who have uncanny resemblance of dynamic to Thor and Loki) was beautiful too. His message about "the bigger picture" to Loki was such a dad-son moment that perhaps Loki never got from Odin.
Its inspired by the comics. Comic book people think he is something else but the story is created like the Loki God of Stories run. Basically Loki becomes a true god of the Marvel Universe and influences all the stories that are written. People in comics online think he is something else but the MCU always combines characters because there are so many to pick from. The story is all about Loki finding his purpose and the viewer understands what is free will. Now being a god that takes care of the multiverse and writes the stories that everyone lives. This is probably the end for Tom as Loki and what we get next will be a new actor with a new take on the Loki character.

I've watched a lot of reactions and so far, you're the only one who noticed that brilliance. Cheers to you! I'll be honest, Gugu Mbatha-Ra's performance as Ren Slayer in that moment, the directing, and editing of that shot, and then the final accompaniment of the suite made me love Ren Slayer. The look on her face as it was her turn to face justice, with dignity, poise, and a heart filled with rebellion towards the ones who slighted her gave me chills. Giving that character so much pathos was tremendous. I'll just say this. The directing was so good in these two seasons, particularly in the 2nd season, which in itself is mindboggling, that I didn't see the actors I saw characters. I didn't see Owen Wilson, I saw Mobius. I think the TVA will act more like time police now, but in a far more benevolent way. Only ever stepping in when a variant threatens the safety of a branch of multiple branches, but for the most part allowing all the branches to grow and thrive individually and unharassed.
If you notice in the scene when Mobius went home, the audio was rustling of branches and the shots were framed in trees. They had put him in Loki's tree of life through audio and visuals. Others have stated a theory that Mobius stood there to spend time in time, because, it let him feel closer to Loki again.🌳
Loki is essentially like the the watcher. He has immeasurable power and importance now but will go unnoticed by all since he remains unseen to the rest of the multiverse
Not the last Loki. He was a varient and there are others. The multiverse means there are infinite Lokis alive with all the other timelines that are now in existence thanks to this Loki's glorious purpose.
The thing most people seem to forget... Silvie also remembers when time moves forwards or backwards. So their last conversation she'd have memories of him trying over and over and over to change things as well.
When Renn Slayer dropped the handbook of the TVA to young Victor that was on the sacred timeline, it caused a branch timeline. So the Victor that we have been watching is a Variant. In the end we once again see a young Victor on the sacred time line not receiving the book, which is the way that is suppose to be. The Variant version on Timely that we all know still exist though and is probably still at the TVA. The TVA 2.0 handbook at the end of the last episode, clearly shows credits to Victor Timely as a co author.
Now after Kang had an "equal" Fistfight with a 40 yr old sorta out of Shape Antman and got clapped by some Ants afterwards I REALLY had my doubts of him being the "next Thanos". I mean I still do, but Loki made him A LOT more interesting and theoretically more menacing for me personally. And after this Ending, we already know that there will be some "on your left Captain America" type of Scene, where Loki suddenly comes out of Limbo as a literal God of Time to help the Avengers actually defeat Kang in the final battle. Ngl I'm here for that and I STILL have quite a lot of doubts, but I'll admit that this Season alone brought me from 10 % believing in this Marvel Phase to ~50% so that's something :D
Aw. You are lovely I'll subscribe. PS i think it was a human mortal broke time and it took a god to fix it. It's no fun to be that god but he did what no mortal can. And in our collective historical superstitious imaginings this is what gods are here for.
3:20 Does she not realize whats going on? He is time shifting into his own body, you can't teleport object if you are just time shifting into your own body...he has to learn how to make the device himself which he does later...
We actually don't know what happens with Mobius as he left the TVA, but can return. He seemed content to just observe 'Don' in his place on the timeline. So, as Loki wanted for him, Mobius has the choice of going back to either previous life or taking a new path altogether. He's at a crossroads.
Asgardians get more powerful when they get older. It is also said that they don't die of age (Odin was special, I guess) By taking in all that radiation, he became so powerful that he could hold all of time together by himself.
To explain why he didn't spagettify when he goes out.. He after all the time slipping exists outside of time. He is not having a branch that he exists, he is in many branches constantly changing. So the temporal radiation can't get to him for that reason. All he had to do was destroy a loom that was already falling apart. The second thing i want to mention as many people wrongly call him now the god of stories. He is not. He is just holding the branches. He is the loom. This version looks like the custodian from Marvel comics, but simplified.
Its more of a combination of different roles from the comics. Because not only is he holding on to the branches, he can hear them as well, he created the Yggdrasil because a world tree can infinitely grow, so it can contain an infinite branches of time but he is the heart of the tree, without him it dies, so very different to God of Stories, similar in the way where if he wanted to he can rewrite people's destiny but he doesn't, he only uses his power to keep it alive. So custodian yes, God of Stories also yes and some even said he is Atlas, also yes, so just a combination of many iterations. All we know is, he is now a Real God alone in the end of time forever lonely so that he can save his friends.
@@momchilhlebarov289 you are so right, this is the Multiversal Yggdrasil, Loki's version that allows it to grow infinitely and having the TVA to cultivate it without killing the timelines. Not the tree of life, but rather the tree of time. Very awesome
