He is right about the engine tranny mounts. I ripped mine to shreds doing launches at the track. I got 2 weekends out of the stock bushings. And years out of the hard poly bushings. Exact same set up as this guy.
Nice video fellow Canadian. It would be helpful to have a quick run down on your build. My build last year made 528 on a hub dyno. GTX 3576 gen 2, pump 94, water method injection, ETS headers and turbo kit, tomei pon cams, Emtron ecu and display. As i remember boost was about 27psi.
Ported heads will give you way more power trust me. I did just that and made a shit load more power. The felpro new mls gaskets the permatorque gaskets are actually good. I’d run them on my subie. Put them on the wife’s Honda after Brent from pfi said they are good. But I run the roger Clark motor sports, head gaskets on my Subaru from flat irons tuning. Stock heat range plugs.

Love the car, huge inspiration for mine (2014 wrx hatch). Was just curious what you think I would need to make a little over 300 wheel safely. As of now I have been told a Air oil seperater, downpipe, intake and tune. Let me know if there’s anything else your recommend, thank you!
Just for reliabilities sake, get a cylinder 4 cooling mod from IAG like he does. I ran one on mine and it made a world of difference in my temp. Plus that extra reliability safety net in the back of your mind is heavenly. As for power, get the AoS (Mishimoto makes a good one if you cant afford the IAG or theyre out of stock), I recommend Cobb or Grimspeed downpipe, and for you intake, please go with a box. It will keep air temp lower for more power. Even though that sweet turbo flutter sound is incredible

Haha build break down. Money. Roll 100 dollar bills up and shove it into the intake tube and bam. High powered Subaru lol. Actually subie parts have dropped by half from 10 years ago. Most of the grlbgt crowd gave up and now it’s back to the mechanics car haha.
I make 400 wheel torque every day. That’s about the limit for daily driving with any longevity. I still make regular repairs. But I just lost a trans due to excessive heat over a long race type road drive. But 400 wheel torque is insane Omni my 2200 lbs car. I logged 72% throttle on the street and it blows the tires off.

I hate king main bearings. I used the soft ACL bearings on subarus and get really good results

94 octane pump gas! I use Motul 5w50 ester blend oil 👍🏼
