Hi dr. Dre, hope you are well! I am just very proud to say that I'm able to sleep on my back at least 95% of the time now and it only took maybe 3 weeks to get used to that and it feels so much better been sleeping on my side or tummy. It seems as though I'm able to rest better. I mentioned this before with a few tips that help me to do it.

Puffy eyes is my biggest issue! I started propping my pillow on top of a bigger cushion to sleep on an incline and it made a difference in de-puffing my eyes. The bottom flat cushion helps support my shoulders so I don't get a shoulder ache or neck pain. Also, I'm currently trying the Mizon Snail Repair Eye cream, it feels like it does help by tightening a bit....

Thank you so much. My undereye puffiness is largely due to allergies. I live in a city notorious for its allergens. No doctor here has ever mentioned a regular dosage of antihistamines, but that is so obvious now you mention it, it may be because I am not a native and I did not "just know". Regardless, I am very grateful to you for sound advice.

I really wish I had your information during high school. You have helped my skin so much! I spent my entire high school career using horribly harsh acne treatments and not wearing sunscreen EVER while also being an athlete outdoors. I really feel like sunscreen could have saved my terrible scarring and hyper-pigmentation in the long run.

You might want to try applying AHA (alpha-hydroxy acids) cream. I used a jar of it (8% AHA) in my 20s and it really made a difference. It reduced the scars on my cheeks. I recommend applying it at night because the skin becomes sensitive to the sun after applying it.

Not related to puffy eyes, but I want to thank you for your Cerave moisturizing cream recommendation! I damaged my skin barrier pretty badly (over-exfoliated with AHAs + overused adapalene) and I minimized my skincare routine after that to just Hada Labo toner and Sunday Riley UFO (both holy grails), but needed a good moisturizer. I had been using the First Aid Beauty moisturizer, but didn't want to pay $42 for their jumbo version. I went and got the Cerave moisturizing cream and I can't believe how good my skin feels now! Now, I need to work on the hyperpigmentation left from all the purging, but at least I have no active breakouts.

I started wearing blue light blocking glasses when watching tv & on the computer/phone. It eases strain on the eyes & reduces inflammation. & please note, puffy eyes could also be an indication of poor adrenal and/or kidney function. (The two go hand in hand) Eliminating stress & detoxing and/or supporting those two organs with a supplement could deflate them considerably. I succeeded with both the above.

Great video. I have learned so much from watching your videos. Thank you for taking the time to educate us and help us. I see a dermatologist for rosacea, but I feel doctors are always so busy and don't have as much time as they would like to educate patients during office visits. I know you have made several videos on rosacea and acne, but I was wondering if you could do a video on how you feel about using topical antibiotics long term. I have been using topical metronidazole for almost 3 years. Is that safe? What are some problems associated with long term topical antibiotic use? Paula's Choice has a new probiotic/prebiotic moisturizer. I was thinking about ordering that to counteract the negative effect of antibiotic use on the skin microbiome.

Does hyaluronic acid supplement make eye bags worse?

Just in time. As soon as cold weather begins, my under eyes get puffy. And I had no idea this was a thing before moving to a place where weather shifts a lot. In here, cold wind makes my eyes tear and puff!

I'm 55 with no wrinkles or blemishes but puffy eyes are really putting a damper on the fact that I was always told that I didn't look my age. I actually look better when I get less sleep. This is going to be my go-to channel now. I'm just wondering what the doctor thinks of using jade rollers to push fluid out from under the eye. I bought one but I haven't used it yet.

Apparently they are useless. My mother had them at your age really badly. I’m pretty sure there will be a procedure for it though

Happy Friday! I look forward for the weekend. I've struggled sleeping lately I stopped using caffeine serum/creams because it's a lost cause. My eyes don't get puffy but dark circles.

It’s so hard to make yourself not feel things. I’ve had this problem a long time and now my lids are all stretched out from puffy eye crying. Eeek!!

I don't know if this will help you but it worked for me:
      1. deep, diaphragm breathing is used by police & EMT's to signal your brain to stay calm. (This can be combined with tilting your head back to spread the tears across your eyes rather than them rolling down your face.)
      2. Immediately divert your attention by physically removing yourself from the situation, like getting a snack or petting an animal.
      3. Accept your feelings without negativity or judgement. Tell yourself "It's okay" or visualize someone you trust telling you it's okay to feel this way.
      Best of luck.

I have puffy eyes one reason I believe is because I have allergies and sleep on my side. I have trouble sleeping on my back. Would a sleep and glow pillow be beneficial given the above possible cause? Love your channel!!

Great content. Everyone in my family has very pronounced puffy eyes once they hit their 50’s. I feel a bit more ready to counter it. Thank you!
