I used to read Revelations for lyrical content. Metalhead here. So, last year, when I became a Christian all the "fantasy' became reality. It wasn't until day 3 of believing that Jesus is the son of God that I asked him into my heart. In that moment my heart changed. Everything about me changed. Then about a week later I remembered about heaven. I began crying because I got so used to the idea that there is nothing after this. Our God is AWESOME!!!

So I can believe that you do have 5 red marbles in your pocket. But I don’t know if you have five red marbles in your pocket. To know I would have to see or interact with the five red marbles. Belief and knowledge are two different things. Copies of some letters of some guy named Paul hundreds of years after the events. He never met the guy during his life but he claims he met the guy’s Brother. And fragments of copies of anonymous gospels, that the writers of do not claim to be eyewitnesses but are just relaying the information as they have but don’t cite the source of. About the guy that was killed by crucifixion. All of these writers wrote in koine Greek, and never met Nor claimed to have met. Any of the people that they are writing about. You are free to believe what ever you want. But don’t claim to know because if you make a claim you are responsible to demonstrate the validity of your claim. The type of evidence that exists for Jesus of Nazareth is hearsay and hearsay under most circumstances is not admissible in a modern US court. Fact the first complete Bibles don’t exist until the fourth century around 295 years after the events described. The language of a person from Nazareth in the time period was Aramaic.

I was an atheist who came to the knowledge of God through the prophets.
I was always interested in mythology and legends, and was curious as to what made people believe in 'spiritual' things!
Reading the revelation of Jesus, and the other prophets, convinced me that God was real!
It was still years before I 'got saved', but now I am fully into the Word and understand why the world is failing.
    No Jesus, no peace.
    Know Jesus, know peace!

I can relate. I was raised in a home Christian home that hosted a Bible study, and I was widely known as a youth who was well-versed in the Bible, but I had no understanding of Redemption and no relationship with Christ. I eventually became an ardent atheist after exploring other religions and finding all of them logically untenable. My knowledge of religion and rhetoric made me a very skilled debater. Eventually, though, I realized that my new religion, scientific rational thought, had holes in it that required more faith than religion. I became agnostic but couldn't deny that I had experienced and witnessed events that couldn't be explained by physical means. Thank God I had a conversion experience that was undeniable. After a lifetime of nonbelief, I now have been blessed with unshakable faith. Glory to God ✝️🕊!

@Drowning_Girl Okay. While going through a frustrating period in my life when I couldn't seem to get ahead, no matter how hard I tried, I was lying on my couch after a friend had just left. Suddenly, a Presence of overwhelming Peace, Love, Power, and Knowing filled my living room. I could actually feel the Omnipotence and Omniscience of God. I was like, "Oh my, You are real, and You are here, right now!" Though I didn't hear an audible voice, He clearly answered, "Yes, I am." I saw every second of my life, even incidents that I had forgotten, down to the most minute detail, but with an understanding of how He viewed it. I felt like such an idiot for denying His existence for the majority of my life. I instantly asked for forgiveness and told Him that my life was His.
Less than twelve hours later, my blood pressure began rising swiftly until I started feeling disoriented. I could see my blood vessels swelling. I live alone, and had recently total lossed my car, and I didn't think that I would live long enough for an ambulance to arrive. I called on the Lord, and my blood pressure started decreasing. I got in contact with a family member who took me to the emergency room. By the time they admitted me, my BP had LOWERED to 180 over 140. I should have died from a stroke or aneurysm. I am convinced that God went out of His way to show me the Truth and give me a choice between eternal life or eternal separation from Him.
And that is only Part One.
I was committed and sincere, but spiritually immature, and after losing my father and my best friend, and suffering an intense spiritual attack, that was so severe that I was too shaken to tell anyone about it, I distanced myself from my Christian support and ended up backsliding. The results were an epic disaster that was so catastrophic that the few people who know the details are convinced that it is worthy of a movie script. I ended up in a situation so desperate that no one on Earth could help me. Once again, God miraculously delivered me. Once I realized why I was in the Valley of the Shadow of Death, He instantly turned my life around. That story in itself is too long and involved to note in this already too long comment. But, my faith in God is unshakable. No situation can turn me away from God. No treasure and no trial. I will gladly suffer anything and deny everything before I deny that Jesus Christ is Lord. Blessings ✝️ 🕊!

We can't see into their hearts like the LORD can. We don't know how the Holy Spirit may be convicting their hearts in the moment. This is where the church needs to grow in the fruit of patience. Sometimes God needs to unravel some layers of lies they have been told. He knows what each of us needs, and meets us there. We live in an instant everything society. Sometimes, it takes some time to truly reveal to someone that they have been deceived. It is a process. Thankfully, our LORD is very patient. Praise God! God is the best heart surgeon in the world, he knows how to skillfully wield the sword of the spirit. Sometimes there is a lot of damage to a heart, and sometimes less damage to it. This world is harsh, and some people may have a shattered heart to repair. We need to be patient with them. The fact that they are there and willing to listen is a good thing. Now, they will ponder what has been said, and the Holy Spirit will convict their hearts. Time will tell if they accept it, or reject it. Regardless, just keep sowing the seed, and speaking God's truth in love. God Bless.

Thank you. I was trying to explain to an elder about righteousness by faith. If you have righteousness, you possess it. I snap a finger, for effect, you must want it. I am a serial adulterer, having money and time and indulging in sex with young girls, destroying my family. But I was reading and copying scriptures, copying really really help me, like a scribe. I had a question, the God of the Bible is “unfair”, can’t be real, then I had the answer, it felt like God said, here is your answer. and boom, like the person said above, all those desires left, even though I wasn’t asking for my “sex” sins to be delivered. It is like boom, it is wrong. Don’t do it. Done. There will be other sins to be discovered and to ask God for help. Pride and its cousin, covetousness …we need to continue to ask God for help and delight in his righteousness when it is revealed.

I was driving one day talking to God out loud about my issue of sin (the lust of the eyes)
Pleading with Him to help me. And a thought of words came into my mind that I don't believe I could have put together myself (because I certainly didn't all the years prior). I truly believe it was our Lord telling me a truth that I wasn't aware of. The words were: " there is a difference between; looking at someone and just seeing someone ".
Then I realized that Looking-is done with intent.
Seeing- is just by happenstance/circumstantial .
I was shocked, and this revelation was the total game changer for me.
I started to realize and say out loud when tempted to LOOK; that God did not create her for me to look at/lust after. I have my own beautiful wife. As beautiful as she is, this woman was created for another man. Now I see women in a different perspective.
And I absolutely love it. Praise Jesus, for He truly is our Healer.

It's so weird, I was really nervous to see my X girlfriend, I was 17, and my cousin Mike said he would have a few drinks with me, he changed his mind, so I drank it all by myself, all of it. I blacked out. A bunch of embarrassing things happened, my cousin told me the next morning. I wanted to leave before my X woke up. I rode my bicycle there and it snowed. It was warm the day before so I had no jacket, it was freezing and raining outside. So I'm sick and hungover and dragging my bicycle through the snow. I went past a church.
It was an all black church and they were getting out. They were all dressed like they were going to a wedding. They didn't say a word to me. I'm white by the way. So I have on a concert jersey with vomit on it, jeans and tennis shoes. They all looked at me like a leper and they had the look of disgust on their faces. I said in my heart if this is God's people. I don't want anything to do with him. I had severe alcohol poisoning. I was throwing up drinking water and sleeping for 4 or 5 days. I should have been in a hospital to be honest.
But yeah. I was mad at God because of people. I got saved about 15 years later. By a very amazing miracle. God is real, God is awesome and amazing and beautiful and horrible and terrifying and horrifying. Yes God isn't always nice. The way he saved me was terrifying. There is no worldly fear that compares to the fear of the Lord. It happened in 1994, 30 years ago. I still feel that fear when I think about that day, God is terrifying! I pity false pastors, teachers, prophets. Apostles... if they really knew God they would stop and beg for his mercy. I pray they will. Heb 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. ~ AMEN...PEACE 🕊

Wonderful testimony !!! He really expounded on really important points without it being 'preachy' or going down spurious rabbit-holes of discussion. First time I've tuned into this channel...
💔💔💔💔 The only thing that spoiled the video was the comment from the host at the end "".
Wow - that really shows the mindset. So he caps off this wonderful testimony by refuting the need of being physically prepared for the little time of trouble. It is the Jacobs time of trouble (which starts at the death decree against God's remnant) during which God will provide our needs.
In times past - such as during the life time of Ellen White - its was an agrarian society where people kept from 1-2+ years of food and material. I once asked my Grandmother (they were farmers) in the 60's why she stored so much food; she said "A good housewife stores at least 1 years worth of food, ...a great housewife stores at least 2 years of food". God has given us time and resources to be prepared. Even Jesus did not 'presume' on His Heavenly Father. Also it should also be noted that a "garden" in the time of Ellen White was typically over and acre - and worked by those that knew what they were doing. In terms of living from a garden - it takes about 1 acre PER PERSON (being fully planted) to sustain someone through a year. And what about our neighbors and those coming into the faith -- how can we be a blessing to them unless we have stored some resources.
Not sure what the host's affiliation is with the Hope Channel is -- but that last statement, reminded me why I stopped watching/listening to the Hope Channel some years back (along with other material coming from Loma Linda) - as they preach a form of godliness, but deny the power of God in that they do not want to preach the whole of present truth. They take money from the government and cow-tow to their mandates. Compromise gets us nowhere down that long narrow road - it has to be full surrender and reliance on Jesus. And those who are called to be 'watchmen' on the walls, including ALL Adventist pastors and media organization, will be held accountable not only for what they have said, ...but for the truths they were too cowardly, being too directed toward appeasement, and not rightly dividing the preaching the word of God.
Sister white speaking about our conferences...
Following are some quotes from ‘Life Sketches’ Chapter 48 speaking about the Our SDA Conferences in the end times...
“As those who have made solemn vows to God, and who have been commissioned as the messengers of Christ, as stewards of the mysteries of the grace of God, we are under obligation to declare faithfully the whole counsel of God. We are not to make less prominent the special truths that have separated us from the world and made us what we are.” LS 329.1
“In the weakness of human judgment, men were gathering into their finite hands the lines of control, while God's will, God's way and counsel, were not sought as indispensable. Men of stubborn, iron-like will, both in and out of the Office, were confederating together, determined to drive certain measures through in accordance with their own judgment.” Life Sketches 320.3
“The religion of many among us will be the religion of apostate Israel, because they love their own way, and forsake the way of the Lord.” LS 326.2.
Prophets And Kings Chapter 10 Pages 140-142
Those ministers who are men pleasers, who cry, peace, peace, when God has not spoken peace, might well humble their hearts before God, asking pardon for their insincerity and their lack of moral courage. It is not from love for their neighbor that they smooth down the message entrusted to them, but because they are self-indulgent and ease-loving. True love seeks first the honor of God and the salvation of souls. Those who have this love will not evade the truth to save themselves from the unpleasant results of plain speaking. When souls are in peril, God's ministers will not consider self, but will speak the word given them to speak, refusing to excuse or palliate evil.
Would that every minister might realize the sacredness of his office and the holiness of his work, and show the courage that Elijah showed! As divinely appointed messengers, ministers are in a position of awful responsibility. They are to “reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering.” 2 Timothy 4:2. In Christ's stead they are to labor as stewards of the mysteries of heaven, encouraging the obedient and warning the disobedient. With them worldly policy is to have no weight. Never are they to swerve from the path in which Jesus has bidden them walk. They are to go forward in faith, remembering that they are surrounded by a cloud of witnesses. They are not to speak their own words, but words which One greater than the potentates of earth has bidden them speak. Their message is to be, “Thus saith the Lord.” God calls for men like Elijah, Nathan, and John the Baptist - men who will bear His message with faithfulness, regardless of the consequences; men who will speak the truth bravely, though it call for the sacrifice of all they have.

This wasn't what I expected when I clicked on the video but I really enjoyed it. I happen to agree with Sebastián, we Christians are hypocrites, but that is only because we can't live up to the example of Christ. Tha5 doesn't mean we are to stop proclaiming His name. He was God in the flesh, we are mere humans unable to perfectly fight our flesh. Yes with the HS that lives inside us we can and do resist our fleshy desires but we can't do it perfectly. We will always have sin that grieves us to our core. The church isn't full of the righteous, but with those who know we need our redeemer to wash us clean of all our unrighteousness and offers us His own righteousness. He gives us what we DON'T deserve because of His love for us.

When the Roman tax was due, Jesus sent His disciple to fish. When he pulled out the fish, it had a coin in its mouth. Enough for the tax. God is able to keep us through whatever this life throws at us. Walk by faith, not by sight. Don't put your trust in riches, put your trust in Almighty God. He has promised to never leave us, nor forsake us. He told us to pray for what we have need of (not greed of). Ask God to shelter you under His wings, and protect you from whatever storm is coming. Ask Him to move you like a piece on a chessboard, since God knows all the right moves to make. God knows what is coming, nothing takes Him by surprise. Rest in His provision and protection. He knows what we have need of before we even ask. Seek first the Kingdom of God, and all the rest shall be added to you. Just make sure you ask according to His will, and His will is fully explained in all the scriptures. If you lack wisdom, then ask for it without doubting, and God will give it to you generously without fault finding. After your request, say "Not my will be done, but Your's LORD", and trust that God knows what is best for you, so He may say no to something you asked for. Trust Him that it is for your good in the long run. Sometimes we might be being disciplined, and no disipline is pleasant for the time being, but later will yield the fruit of righteousness. Be glad our LORD doesn't leave us to our own devices, for we are fallen beings and make bad decisions at times. Our Father will only discipline us for our good, and that is a good thing. Just ask Him if there is something you need to repent of, He will show you if there is.

@@sues3218 so you DON'T think it's a good idea to stock up on Bibles to give to people when they (Bibles) will probably be outlawed during the tribulation? They're already trying to "gentrify" the Bible to make it inclusive and acceptable to "everyone". I think stocking up on bibles, memorizing scripture, and having emergency supplies to help others with is part of having our lamps full of oil. The Lord told us to be watchful and prepared...

Great testimony, though I will say we have to move past, when Christians act like Christians I might be interested,
Stop looking at others, look to Jesus, and you become that Christian you want others to be.
I reached the stage in my life where I didn't care if no-one spoke to me at church, I wanted to be faithful for Jesus, and to be there for others who felt rejected, and to stand for the truth. We are supposed to take up our cross, and also expect to suffer....until some random Christian is mean to me, is the point where many cop out.
Look to Jesus, not others, be thankful everyday despite circumstances, and remember, just because someone claims to be a Christian, doesn't make it true.

He said, 'It was the hypocrisy that solidified his atheism."
Didn't it occur to him to be the exception?
No ... because he was unaware of the historical figures being real - and the power of prophecy.
This means: atheists need two reasons to recognise the redemptive power of the crucifixion.
    They need to know:
    1) Yâhusha is real and the witness account of His death and resurrection is legitimate.
    2) Prophecy, in scripture, is true.
This, then, will allow them to apply their sense of morality to expose the hypocrisy - so the backsliding Christians can feel conviction to repent and remain focused on Yâhusha.

Even though I wasn't a true Christian (just labeled that because of my parents who are also just lukewarm), I still found that being taught about evolution in school was ridiculous and just laughed that they actually believe we came from nothing and also apes. I also didn't understand why the school had Christian values, but taught something like evolution (public schools). I am in the process of reading the Bibile for the first time and I am learning so much from how the prophets were used to help people to God and how they also doubted, but God is merciful and He can overcome whatever we are struggling through.
Jesus saved me from so many negative emotions from self-hatred, comparing myself to others or not seeing myself as valuable compared to those who have done something with their life and to suicidal thoughts (developed from not getting better with my partial seizures, ability to not feel or taste). Now I have a hope beyond the physical, a love that is more than what people can offer and wisdom I didn't think I would be able to understand.

      Misconception in what way

    • @justincase1919
      @justincase1919 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@miracletemitope3216 that's a very broad topic
Misconceptions in many things. Just about the only thing they got right is Jesus died for our sins.
The most important misconception would be misconceptions about the things Paul said about God's law.
Peter even said that people were twisting Paul's words into "the error of lawlessness", yet people continue to twist his words, even when what Peter said is pointed out to them.
They simply don't want to obey God, so they twist things however they need to in order to justify their disobedience and still claim to be followers of Christ.
They think keeping God's commandments is contrary to being saved by faith, but it isn't.
Faith and works go hand in hand, without one, the other is dead.
Paul was only saying that gentiles do not need to be circumcised, not that we don't need to keep God's commandments.
He said, when gentiles keep the commandments, their uncircumcision becomes circumcision because they are circumcised of the heart.
When Jews do not keep the commandments, their circumcision becomes uncircumcision.
Keeping the commandments is what is important, not whether or not we are circumcised.
That is what Paul actually said.
For most of the history of the church, it was rejection of God's holy days that they got wrong, for the most part, but today it has progressed so far that people flat out say that they don't have to repent to be saved and that we cannot lose our salvation, no matter how much we sin.
They actually call people who teach commandment keeping, heretics.
That defies common sense, as well as contradicting scripture.

You clearly put the revelation and in Daniel the rock crossing the ironclay mix in the furure.
Why can't you see the new kingdom as the spiritual kingdom that came after the crusifiction of Jesus, that literallt crushed the temple, scattered the jews, killed them converted to Jesus? For me revelation is all about the wrat against that wicked generation that killed Christ and clinged to their deeds that never was predicted in the covenant of the law. It is an ongoing kingdom that has already started 2000 years ago, expanding more and more, until fulfilling the earth. The born again believer never dies spiritually, only the body dies. ❤❤
