There is a good video about their formation:

from their previous individual careers until finally as ABBA win the classic Eurovision Song Contest 1974 in the UK with the fantastic and iconic song "Waterloo"

See now I know of the songs in the video well most of them BUT I wasn't born but just because of family and of course 3 of the favourite songs were shown 1 convoy, 2 bohemian rhapsody 3 wuthering heights
And it was running up that hill that hit back at number 1 last year due to stranger things

If you've never heard of the band The Mavericks I highly recommend checking them out. They've been around for decades but aren't super mainstream. Same goes for The Real Group. Lake Street Dive is a great newer band that is really incredible. John Prine is one of America's best kept secret singer-songwriters.
