Both were the two most stunning and beautiful women at the time and excellent singers of course. Abba was and is a miracle. Everyone praises mostly Agnetha for her beauty so it is good to see someone put their eyes on Frida because she was a monument of a woman!

No matter how much we love Frida, we never have a problem acknowledging Agnetha's undeniable qualities and beauty. I've never seen a Frida fan disparage or outright hate Agnetha like Agnetha fans do towards Frida. Most are unwilling to give Frida any credit, which is really sad.

I can sometimes be guilty of defending Frida I bit too ardently...because I do think she gets a lot of uncalled for criticism and not enough praise for her immense talent...but I always try to remind myself about how much I also adore Agnetha and ABBA as a whole. If I ever met Agnetha OR Frida in person I'd probably faint right in front of them.

It is so nice to see a frida fan from abba. I am also a fan of her. Agnetha brought that nice extra touch to the abba sound.
Frida for me was always the star. Yes, Agnetha was the majority favourite, but I preferred Frida's voice and her charisma. Agentha had sort of an aloof, cool blonde mystique as well as a somewhat tragic persona based on the songs she sang so well, but Frida was the firecracker, the stronger one, the one who would dance her way into your heart and the voice that would seduce you with those low sultry tones. I guess it just depends on what turns you on more... the girl who you need to protect or the girl you need to protect yourself from.

Yes, Agnetha fans can be toxic and disrespectful in their comments about Frida, yet it doesn't happen the other way around. Frida was more classically beautiful and had a wider vocal range than Agnetha, it's like they see it as a threat to their blonde obsession, so they turn venomously against her, sad little people! 😢

Now I don't take Frida the wrong way and I know she's just having fun with Bjorn, but I respect Agnetha for not getting too touchy-feely with Benny. That's another woman's husband and she's got respect for that.
At this point, Agnetha and Björn were divorced. I think Frida whispers to Agentha, 'go over to Benny, I'll hang out with Björn' because the divorce was still pretty recent and Agnetha might have felt 'a type of way' having to be near Björn too much. Frida was actually protecting her 'little sister', which is actually really endearing.
It's a performance, they are performing get it into perspective please!
In later videos Agnetha does the same to Benny and flirts with him a lot more sensually than Frida does here, you obviously haven't wanted to notice that though! 😏
Frida is 34years here, turning 35 this year 1979. her birthday is 15 november. born 1945. she turn 78 this year. Time flyes. Shes a princess to.
This is Frida before she split up from Benny ( the master pianist) a few years later she went through some Very difficult and dark times...her daughter was killed in a car accident in the state of New York and 18 months later her husband who was a German Prince died of cancer, she was at the time contemplating recording an album to follow her previous successful release but never did.
After that dark period of her life she withdrew from public life as a recording artist, and who could blame her.
In the ABBA years she was always overshadowed by Agnetha, but that was down to the sexist press.
Frida was always my favourite...I got to see ABBA in London at Wembley Arena in 1979.....it was amazing

Her early life was pretty rough too. Her mother died when she was two and she thought that her father was also dead. She only realized he was alive and met him for the first time in her thirties. Then had to deal with the press backlash of him having been a German soldier.

If I not mistaken he was an SS officer, I know that they did meet up but it was a short reconciliation. It must have been very difficult for Frida....
Agnetha also had to endure difficult times after the ABBA years.
They are both Very talented and beautiful ladies that deserve the utmost respect.
They were both victims of the sexist media that excisted in the 70's.
I'm just so glad that they have remained good friends and I can still see how Frida is looking out for Agnetha after all this time, it shows in the premier of the ABBAtar concerts in London
They both respect and admire the contribution each other put into "ABBA" and only those two ladies can understand the sacrifices they had to give.
We should now give them the respect for privacy, they deserve that at least after all that they have given us🥲

Instead, her father was a pastry chef by profession and had been conscripted into the regular army. Maybe just a guy hoping to get through the war unscathed and probably thankful that he was posted to the relatively quiet outpost of Northern Norway instead of the Eastern Front.

Ok , thank you for your reply, I'm only going on what was reported at the time that Frida met up with her father, I don't think that any of us will know the full details of Frida's parental history and that how it should be. I was only stating what I had read from magazines from years ago.

I had also read somewhere that there was doubt whether Alfred Haase knew that Frida's mother was pregnant before he left. He claimed that he didn't while Frida's aunt claimed that he did. I think she opted to believe her aunt, which led to a breakdown of the relationship between her and her father.

"Voulez-Vous” was written by Ulvaeus and Andersson while on a song writing trip to the Bahamas. Since it was close to Miami, the group ended up recording the backing track at Criteria Studios in Miami, with members of the disco group Foxy, and finished the recording at their own studio in Stockholm. The track is also the only song to ever be recorded by ABBA outside Sweden.
My Mother is from Sweden and our family still live there. My Aunt Eva looks exactly like Frida. Gorgeous lady. You weren't from a Swedish home if you weren't raised on ABBA. When we lived in California my Swedish best friend and I would play ABBA. She always chose Agnetha and I was made Frida. Good times. 😆 On a side note my Aunt Eva was neighbors to the manager of the Swedish group Roxette.

It is not in my Top 10 of ABBA songs, it is an excellent song but they still have better ones, such is the interpretive and composer quality of ABBA

It seems to be an amazing show, but the people you see on stage is not their holograms, it's their avatars. They were made by using motion capture technique, so what you see on stage is actually them. And from what I've heard, it seems like the show will go on tour so that more people get a chance to see it.
Yes the show has been extended plus also talk of another arena being built.I have seen the show and believe me it really is amazing,such a clever technique,all the moves were actually made by ABBA themselves,I am going again in a couple of weeks,you should go trust me you won’t be dissapointed 😃
