I just made it, and since I have no loaf pan, I baked it in a bundt pan and doubled the recipe and used salted butter instead of unsalted. Dangerously good.

This is probably the second time I've actually followed a recipe instead of just chefing it up after amalgamating a handful of different takes. I followed your recipe using a korean bread flour that I typically use to make noodles. The differences I noted were that my dough was not as messy and squishy. It was also considerably more sticky for the final stage, which complicated the stacking a little. Ultimately, the bread part of the recipe came out amazing. Legitimate Recipe. I made this recipe and it was really good. For my personal liking, next time I will add salted butter instead of unsalted butter as I feel it lacked a bit of salt. IMPORTANT!!! Let the bread cool off in the pan before flipping over. I did it as soon as I took it out of the oven and the whole thing went flat with the weight of the cheese. Even though the bread flattened, it was very good and the texture was perfect! Thank you for the video!!!
@@jason-qc5lr Try making the paste without the honey or sugar and take a bit of the paste on a spoon and sprinkle salt to see if you like it. If you don't, you can always add the honey last.

Just made this!! It was so delicious and fluffy. Although I recommend using salted butter instead of unsalted. Someone recommended making a marinara sauce with it and I think it would be also!
I was thinking the same thing about the butter (salted), but I think that’s because I’m American and we tend to like things saltier than they do other places. 😃
I made this today and it was a really good flavor. The garlic butter with honey was super good and I'll probably use it for more things! The only thing I didn't like is that the bread it self was a bit too soft and doughy for me and my family. I think I might bake it like a pizza next time so it won't be as doughy. Instead of cutting into squares, stacking it and putting it in a loaf pan, I'll bake it on a sheet right after rolling it and putting the butter and cheese. I think it will make it more crispy on the bottom
@@yumishinku3401 I haven't yet, but with with the leftovers, I sliced it up, put more cheese on top and baked them individually. It was more crispy (very crispy!) and pretty good with soup.
I tried this recipe last night. It was fairly easy to make. Just make sure you have the room temp ingredients at room temp. I often forget to do this. Anyways, it was good, but a little bitter it seemed. I just used a regular sized banana bread baking pan and the bread came out beautiful! The only thing I would change is the yeast. One Tbsp seems like a lot and I think that is what made my.bread a little bitter. I will do 1 tsp instead the next time I make it. Thank you!

I think it would go well with some sort of dipping sauce as even though the cheese and garlic was good it still felt like it could use a little more flavor. Such fluffy and delicious bread though. Mine definitely didn't turn out as beautiful as hers did because 1, I am an amateur bread maker and 2, literally everything on this channel is too beautiful to recreate perfectly haha. Anyway it really was good and I would recommend it. I shared some with the family and they said it might go well with a marinara sauce. 8/10 I would say! Pretty easy to follow and make, just needs a little more flavor. By the way, I love this channel sooo much!! Your recipes are amazing.

I just tried making this dough ( trying to convert to American measurements ) and it is not as soft looking as your dough and I know you say one egg mixed in with the milk, etc ... bur it looked like you added more after the flour 🤔... am I missing something? 🙀

@@jason-qc5lr Try making the paste without the honey or sugar and take a bit of the paste on a spoon and sprinkle salt to see if you like it. If you don't, you can always add the honey last.

Just made this!! It was so delicious and fluffy. Although I recommend using salted butter instead of unsalted. Someone recommended making a marinara sauce with it and I think it would be also!

I was thinking the same thing about the butter (salted), but I think that’s because I’m American and we tend to like things saltier than they do other places. 😃
I use salted butter in all my recipes even if is called for unsalted because it really doesn’t make a diff n it taste better

I just made this & it was absolutely terrific. Not having much experience with bread except for a bread maker, it was easy. So soft & fluffy!
I made this today and it was a really good flavor. The garlic butter with honey was super good and I'll probably use it for more things! The only thing I didn't like is that the bread it self was a bit too soft and doughy for me and my family. I think I might bake it like a pizza next time so it won't be as doughy. Instead of cutting into squares, stacking it and putting it in a loaf pan, I'll bake it on a sheet right after rolling it and putting the butter and cheese. I think it will make it more crispy on the bottom

@@yumishinku3401 I haven't yet, but with with the leftovers, I sliced it up, put more cheese on top and baked them individually. It was more crispy (very crispy!) and pretty good with soup.
Agree, same I just made this and it was to doughy for us also. I just put it back in the oven hoping it will get more un doughy.

I tried this recipe last night. It was fairly easy to make. Just make sure you have the room temp ingredients at room temp. I often forget to do this. Anyways, it was good, but a little bitter it seemed. I just used a regular sized banana bread baking pan and the bread came out beautiful! The only thing I would change is the yeast. One Tbsp seems like a lot and I think that is what made my.bread a little bitter. I will do 1 tsp instead the next time I make it. Thank you!

A man after my own heart. I love savory things too, especially garlic bread. I hate sweet things too. I never eat cakes or desserts. If someone made one of these as my birthday cake I'd love them forever.

Edit: okay it was really quite good. I think it would go well with some sort of dipping sauce as even though the cheese and garlic was good it still felt like it could use a little more flavor. Such fluffy and delicious bread though. Mine definitely didn't turn out as beautiful as hers did because 1, I am an amateur bread maker and 2, literally everything on this channel is too beautiful to recreate perfectly haha. Anyway it really was good and I would recommend it. I shared some with the family and they said it might go well with a marinara sauce. 8/10 I would say! Pretty easy to follow and make, just needs a little more flavor.
By the way, I love this channel sooo much!! Your recipes are amazing.

Thank you for coming back to give an honest review. I personally ALWAYS add flavor to recipes. Most only use salt and pepper anyways. I'm sure a marinara sauce would've been bomb! I'm going to try different combinations!

I just tried making this dough ( trying to convert to American measurements ) and it is not as soft looking as your dough and I know you say one egg mixed in with the milk, etc ... bur it looked like you added more after the flour 🤔... am I missing something? 🙀
