I've been watching. Since 2018 soooooo yeah, I love it because he's funny and down to earth, w/ kind at heart and knows alot about cars shows his sons how to do what he dose and it's great. I tried to help my son with anything but just wasn't interested in anything. I was behind him 100% and he still didn't want that he past in April 2021 from drive by shooter just out with his girlfriend and died at 37 I miss him. Derek is a good guy so to speak thanks for all the great shows bro my son and I had watched and also worked on cars and I finially got him interested in something, so thank you Derek

He makes it look so easy to bring an old car back to life that hasn't ran in so many years. I want to get an old 85 ford truck like I I had as a teenager and make it a daily driver. I don't have alot of knowledge but I'm sure I could. He is right. The project won't work If you won't. I'm motivated to try
Derek was one of the best you tube classic cars mechanic .He really doing magic with this old rusty piles of junk transforming this in to beauty classic gems. He is one of rare people who actually preserve iconic cars and trucks from great American car manufacture's industry. I enjoy watching all his videos and learning about repairs and maintenance of cars and engines on very positive way with a lots of jokes and silly things. VGG is definitely one of the best American car mechanic channel what exist on you tube.
Ive watched his channel for years now and NEVER have I seen a "stunning masterpiece". Ive seen some expensive engine parts and engines but all his cars are pieces of rusty buckets without paint. His nicer cars were bought that way.
That's cause he started out and still is a home grown old school guy. He's not like the rest of these youtubers, he does stuff that literally anyone could do with a bit of knowledge and a couple thousand dollars.
I loved watching roadworthy rescues on motortrend the way he explained the process of getting these cars running again and is really cool this video goes into a lot of details about him very cool thanks for posting it 👍👍👍
