"...a happily married man who also had an appetite for professional companionship!" has got to be the politest description of a dishonorable scenario I've ever heard! 😂
Unbecoming of an officer type actions 😂
Been watching since the beginning, crazy to think it’s been so many videos!
The SL/SLR story is comedy lmao
Well if the wife is a vinwiki fan there is probably a very warm greeting waiting for hubby.
I cant imagine just listening to a guy who admits that he was drunk driving multiple times, hit a person causing serious injury and just laughing it off.
Injured never got proper compensation, he for some unkown reason wasnt declared as "at fault" and Vinwiki was only thinking if this story will do well on TH-cam, crazy.
Ed, you are a master storyteller sir!
Sorry but the first story is most likely bull crap. No handgun I know of is going to discharge by just launching a car. The closest you could get to one just randomly discharging would have to be a older 1911 and still it would have to be basically dropped straight on its muzzle for the firing pin to have enough inertia to be able to ignite the primer. The gun would have to be perfectly level, pointing backwards for a launch to move the firing pin towards the primer, and even then, not even a top fuel dragster would be able to produce the G forces required to make that happen.
My Mom ran over our family dog with me and my brother in the car, we were like 6 & 8. 😮😳 Literally,, it was never spoken about in her presence,,, EVER. 🤣 Kinda funny now, but we were absolutely mortified at the time...
Thanx
An SLR IDENTIFYING AS....... 🤣 bro had me weak with that
Story 1 is dumb. Why did there NEED to be a passenger?
Hall Mark Miller Matthew Smith Larry
We found a way.
Ah I was wondering
The appendage was wildly different.
Where there's an Ed there's a way.
Still wondering what happen with that Audi lease video..?
Life…uh…uh…finds a way.
"Hired co-drivers" 😂🤣
I died ☠️🤣
"Hired CoDriver" is the best descriptive for that particular type of occupation. Definitely got a big laugh
Good for polishing the shifter knob.
" trans Atlantic" had me 💀
@Riki-io4ydjeez you lot are soft
@Riki-io4yd no one gives a shit besides you
@Riki-io4yd nothing Ed said was offensive, if you found anything offensive then you need to give your head a shake.
I'm sorry to someone tied you down and forced you to listen to this@Riki-io4yd
It's a "post op" SL55.
The "firearm discharge" story would get the guy a spot on Brandon Herrera's Darwin Award videos if there was footage of it. Then again, maybe he'll end up there anyway because Brandon sometimes talks about something happening despite not having footage of it.
I feel like there's no way that could have happened without the trigger somehow having been actuated. Like I'm pretty sure most reputable handgun manufacturers have stringent requirements and testing around drop testing safety and negligent dusrcharges resulting there from. Correct me if im wrong but I think sig was recently raked over the proverbialy coals and publicly flogged for having a small problem around inadequate drop testing negligent discharge incidents on the p320 when it was first released not too long ago before they issued a recall and implemented an engineering/ manufacturing fix?
@@mcwrekx1998 Maybe his gun was one of the defective ones. I don't know because I wasn't there.
@@ColtonRMagbyunlikely.
There is a reason no competent firearms instructor recommends pocket carry or any carry without a proper holster.
The gun didn't shoot itself, the trigger was pulled because they didn't have a proper holster for proper carry.
Passenger had her hand on the wrong trigger, wink wink
Immediately thought the same thing
I used to work with a guy who fell asleep on his way home, drove thru a (thankfully) empty road work site and hit a John Deere tractor with a road brush attachment, he claimed to his insurance that he had hit a deer and they took care of it.
I mean, he technically wasn't lying...
A Deere! LOL!!
I hope when he wrote the affidavit he spelled it Deere. It would most likely get overlooked as a typo but would be a clever way of being honest lol.
@erikrummel6277 or just an idiot not knowing how to spell. Cuz most people would say tractor not specific brand. They'd just assume it was a deer
I been worried about this lately. I work 3rd shift and then have to watch my kids during the day usually. So most of the time I've been awake for 2 days or only slept 2 or 3 hours. And I constantly nod in and out when driving home in the morning.
An Impala runs into a Deere, then they go out for drinks
I was expecting a new Kimmy story.
#FreeKimmy‼️
That will be the MOST watched video EVER. We need Kimmy
I was expecting Kimmy
Yes! Waiting for Kimmy!
If Kimmy shows back up ole Ed may drop dead out of shock lmao... So Ed please be prepared for Kimmy popping up as much as she's been mentioned here it's highly likely now and I really enjoy your stories and want to continue to hear more so be aware buddy!!
You're are such a diplomatic speaker, clear in your complicated sentence construction, and never sound pandering. You sound like the high school science teacher we all dreamed of having. Good work always! (older than you and not far away!)
As a lawyers, I think Ed would have made a fantastic jury trial litigator.
You could have got your famous line in the freeway crash story....
A non documented migratory worker, lost a finger because of the accident and was clearly unhappy about it. But after some shrewd negotiating they all decided the best course of action would be to swap insurance details and go one their separate ways.
Shot him self under acceleration. It must’ve been a Highpoint gun.🤣
Highpoint of his existence, I'm sure
More likely a Sig P320
@@DaleGribblesHatna those only go off on cops
@@DaleGribblesHat An original WW2 or old design copy of an original 1911A1 with the inertial firing pin. It's possible with those. I believe Colt Series 70 and others still had the inertial firing pin with no drop safe. I think some copies of foreign make 1911A1's copy the original design including the lack of a drop safe are still sold today.
Sure it wasn't that new sig that shoots you??
The trans car is honestly super funny
It’s hilarious. The issue is the trans people also suffer from over sensitivity and no sense of humor.
@Riki-io4yd quote the belittling things that were said. He chose his words very carefully. Overly sensitive people like yourself is exactly why he didn’t release the video.
You really should just come back to reality and stop with craziness
@Riki-io4yd oh surprise no direct quote, just innuendo and false accusations . Pot meet the kettle.
It's a shame he ruined it at the end. This trans person was loving it up until that "identifying as a woman" bit. That just hurt unnecessarily. There are queer car people who would love to share their stories, and that's not the environment that will encourage it. I'd one day love to have my own story.
@Riki-io4yd no one’s cares
Ed I wish one day I can word things the way you do. Dancing the line so professionally.
Outstanding stories.
Hahahaha the trans slr story def could have received interesting feedback as it’s own video
Fast cars... 🪝Ers... Guns... You know there was some ❄️too...
Don't forget the track suits!
Sometimes the duration of the statute of limitations gets in the way of a great story.
7:10 I know about this accident. The car also ran through a bunch of tables at an outdoor Italian restaurant just before the fruit cart. The attendant working the stand was confused and unsure should he jump left or jump right. He waited until the very last second and did a perfect tumble into the street barely escaping certain death but perfectly in frame. I saw it in the theater.
Ronin?
Im shocked Christopher and Rabbit aren't in the video!
Rabbit hasn't made a video in a min...even on his own channel
Or are they??....
@@Jurassic974 I've noticed that. Do you know if there's a reason why? I'm a fan of rabbits stories.
@aaadamt964 last I heard from Rabbit was months ago and he said something filming soon but it seemed maybe for Netflix or something else. But I hadnt seen him update any socials like he usually does during filming anything. Maybe Ed could get an update for us.
@@Jurassic974 I honestly can't remember the last video I've seen from him. I'm currently recovering from back surgery and cancer so I spend a lot of time staring at my phone. I check for new videos from him every couple, three days but haven't seen anything in awhile. I'll go ask on his newest video to see if I get a response. Haha
I run a collision shop. I had a lady come in with an insurance claim for hitting a body on the road. Deer hits are common in Ohio, so I walked out and talked to this sweet old lady who DROVE this car in. I said, "Oh, it looks like you hit a deer?" She said no, a person. "Wait, what?" "I hit a person. She was laying on the highway at night."
Naturally I was shocked. We had to keep the car, and it was still dripping............
Long story short, the police just let her go from the scene. It ended up being a homicide case because the girl that got hit was drugged and left on the side of the highway. I talked to an officer a long time later and he was blown away because that car should have been used for evidence. The insurance actually tried to make us fix the car, and we naturally refused. After a battle, it was totalled.
My tech looked under the car and was shocked. He said that he could tell it was a white lady with brown hair. This was before the news released who she was.
Professional companions 😂 well played buddy, well played
First story is right up to Brandon Herrera's alley with his Darwin Awards series.

Wasn't expecting to find a A:TLA fan here, but...there it is.
If Kimmy is ever on here it will break the internet
Re: SLR story: Gives new meaning to the term “trans-Atlantic” too…
How many takes did it take to tell that first story?
Just one after I worked out the anonymity substitutions.
A modified Lamborghini owner going off half cocked and still manages to hit a tiny target
The description of a track-suited guy with the hypercar, professional escort, and gun in the pocket…. Am I the only one that thinks that guy was RU Mafia?
100%. I could hear the accent and picture him squatting in front of his MacLaren with his fingers doing the V sign while posing for a selfie.
i hear bowling tho ...
They dropped enough hints that SOMEONE knows who it was. Not me tho
Yes
Damn forgot what an epic looking car 675LT was 😍
Plot twist: He was looking into "reduction" surgery anyways.
The guy in your last story needs to go to jail. I know that he had a problem with drinking. That is one thing I can sympathize with having a family member who ultimately died from alcoholism. But he knew he was too impaired to drive after the first two times he ignored it and told himself that he was OK to drive. He put everyone on the road around himself at risk, and for this, I can not sympathize.
Nah man lol just a tad bit of Tomfoolery no harm no foul
When VinWiki avoids a Vin-swap 😂
Cheddar bobbed his shit 😂
the sobriety story is REALLY not safe for this TH-cam... yet Ed managed to tell the whole story!
The delivery is what I come back for
Lemme guess, they were Rabbit, Travis, or Chris stories! 😅
I would love it if a firearm specialist could explain how a donut or launch pulls a trigger.
Sig P320's have several lawsuits pending/settled about unintentional unintentional discharges involving bending over, getting in and out of cars, and most specifically when dropped at a certain angle the lighter than Glock trigger is depressed. I'm assuming the G-Force exerted by the turbo McLaren caused the malfunction and firing.
It’s not surprising at all to me after hearing it explained that he shoved a loaded pistol directly into a track suit pocket, no holster nothing protecting the trigger.
I am a former police officer, I attended Army Basic Training/Infantry school at Ft Benning, I later switched my MOS to MP until I got out of the Army NG. I ended my military service with the US Navy as a TLAM tech, those don’t accidentally discharge and won’t fit in a track suit pocket.
I wouldn’t consider myself an expert but I’m definitely extremely confident in the subject and have actually been involved in a few negligent discharge investigations as a police officer.
@@DaleGribblesHat + The fixed carbon fiber seats probably played a part in the accident. Hard launch, gun flies out of his pocket, smacks the seat and dude loses his knob
There have been quite a few deleted stories that never got reuploaded just saying
That car was a trans-former 😂
What happened to the Audi Etron Lease story… we got the dirty delete, and no explanation.
I’m sure the dealer got 100’s of calls and needed the insider info on the deal to go away.
They dirty deleted a video from the other day called "My business partner was on the FBI most wanted list"... something like that.
@@Glitchunlocked that one was because that business partner reached out to Ed and complained, claiming there were massive inaccuracies.
So what happened with that lease? I meant to watch it since I'm looking into such lease deals...
This is one of the better videos in the last year or two mr Bolian
Look, I don't care if you change the badges, respray it, swap out the wheels, give it a higher exhaust note - an SLR can never be an SL55, and that's a hill I will die on.
4:07 Pocket carry p-365 issues
Hey Zeus dang. The same thing happened to me. Only, I didn’t have a gun or pricey lady of the evening , I had a fleshlight. Never had appetite for booze, I hit a dear John home wrecker ,instead of a John deer farm tractor, plus, I could tell you ,and, trust me or don’t trust me, you wouldn’t believe me, plus, I don’t even believe me, and, I’m the one it happened too. Short story long, and, whelp, more what can I say…..
First was hilarious, full stop. Second will likely hit given the audience of car guys and the third is kinda...horrible? A bad guy getting away with bad things isn't everyone's cup of tea
I wonder who Hoovie's lost friend is... 🤔
Should have titled this “3 declassified VINwiki stories, we can now tell you”
Love this concept for videos. An abridged version of stories that couldn’t be uploaded. This should be a series cuz i just k n o w theres a vault of fun unaired vinwiki stories.
Bro eds sarcastic non chalant way of telling the stories is why I've been around for so many years....the guests have gotten a bit dry but I subbed for ed back when he was the only guest.....ever since he told us about his wife's 30k dollar Ferrari.....4 different TH-cam accounts and a trip to prison and I'm still here man.
When I was around 12, my family and I were driving back from a relatives. Rounded a curve to see a family parked on the side of the road letting their black lab go potty. Dog got loose, ran into the road infront of another car coming and got hit hard. I've always remembered that. Can't imagine my dog getting hit. Whenever we go on walks I got that leash on a death grip
How come nobody ever does a story about the Bridgestone blimp? 😎
What amazed me the most about the pocket gun story is the man allowed his wife to dictate who he can be friends with. You can bet your ass that doesn't work in reverse.
Talk about having a cocked firearm....
Well?? You can make the case that no matter where he goes, he will certainly be going off "Half-cocked"?
7:07 ah yes the classic driving thru a fruit stand scenario😂😂😂
Ngl “discharged the pocketed firearm” I though dude came before I heard the next sentence

Bridgestone is a huge sponsor! Congrats Ed!
There's definitely a few more stories that you should've left unpublished... Or maybe you should just do this with them and retell them, so they're better told.
There’s absolutely no way a firearm should discharge in your pocket unless you’re an idiot and have other crap inside their that can get in between the trigger and trigger guard.
Just another reason why I like safety’s. The triggers the only safety needed but a backup can’t hurt especially when you’re appendix carrying 😂
Shoving a loaded pistol into a pocket without a good holster is dumb. With no holster it’s beyond idiotic
@@somenygaard well I think he wasn’t even carrying in his pocket because if it was he would of had to fire through his thigh to hit his dick. I assume he was appendix carrying or something.
Even without a holster especially in track suit that’s lose fitting it would be hard to pull a trigger and the force of acceleration would be pulling weight back away from something in one’s pocket and a trigger engagement. The entire story makes absolutely no sense in reality.
Nooooo…. Just ordered two sets of RE71-RS’s and missed the Vinwiki discounts
Cancel quick if they haven't been shipped and re order.
With that last story, if someone started going down a rabbit hole where they’re realizing what they did as they tell the story, do you try to stop them? Seems like a really risky thing to have on camera.
I seem to remember a polish guy that build a Mercedes McLaren SLR replica in metal based on an old SL. Mercedes was okay with it if he doesn't sell it or make more. At least that was what i half remember.
They are very against replicas and have seized and destroyed several.
On a side note were do i hire Co drivers
Here for the answers in the comments
A pistol shoved into the pocket of a sport suit. Not the best place.
Almost like the end result is perfect evidence of that
I work for Bridgestone cool they are a sponsor
"Hired co-drivers" 😆
Bridgestone is awsome! Vongrats on the deal with them! Here in Alaska we order bridgestone blizzaks by connex load. We put those damn things on everything including our trikes. The motorcycle riders here with trikes run them on their back tires so they can ride all year long and the blizzaks perform top of their class eveytime no matter what we put them on.
There was a ton of bmw that weekend. I’m also good friends with some of them, however I did see ALOT of sliding, revin, and hooning on the outskirts especially in the mountains. A guy in a silver e36 lost control on the way up to richard b. Russell hwy.
WOW WTF He slammed into the back of a stopped loaded truck going fast enough to flip it over, and was not at fault!!! I wonder if he'd have been cuffed-n-stuffed if it was a church van, or a limo full of investor types???
I don't think there is a man alive. That could tell this story better than ad. Thank you ad, thank you very much.
Because if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have a part of this story or many, many others keep him coming. Let's see if we can top this who can Top it😂😊😅
Oh the stories I could tell. Like the time a person not to be named (actually isn’t me) had a brand new luxury SUV and had recently drunkenly dukes of hazarded it over a traffic circle into a field. Couple months later he had hit a power pole guide wire. He was afraid his insurance would drop him or not cover it so a search party was dispatched to find a road killed deer. The dead dear was hoisted up a tree by a rope and the truck was driven into it to mimic a deer strike for the insurance.
Golden killer
what an intro! lol
I understand why you didn't share the alcoholic story but wanted to. I'm guessing this guy had a lot of money. Most people would have lost their license for life and probably serious jail time
We still need a rotory with Jimmy and her lamb. Any chance to do a remote talking to her so we can get the story of her car and seeing her butt for how big it is?
Like just started watching. Probably an ad for something. It better be a Kimmy update
I knew a bunch of people like that last guy. I hope he's doing well cause that's a hell of a demon to fight, and it's not until much later that you realize the damage you were doing all along.
LGBT owner and car 😂😂😂
Is the addict the guy always getting arrested that used to hang out with Rob or with the guy who died last year that had all the hyper cars? Just seems like a DB thing that guy would have done.
Now thats a fkkn opener🤣🤣🤣🤣
That went south quickly...145 fps...😅
