Kinda rubbed me the wrong way personally. Like I know for a fact that he works for his shit and I certainly am happy for him that he could buy a Bugatti, but come on. Ed and his family have got to be worth 7 to 8 figures. Just the assets shown in videos have got to be worth multiple millions.
And I know what he meant by that, he's clearly not the average Bugatti buyer, but hearing the word "poor" come out his mouth really made me tick. Just feels in bad taste IMHO.

Difference is, you're allowed to take your BMW to the grocery store, or to work. Hagerty's agreed value insurance allows you to travel to car shows, and occasionally take a pleasure cruise through the mountains. You're forbidden from daily driving the car insured through them.
@@teejayhowardthat’s not true. Ed put 1700 miles on his Veyron already. However, hagerty has a collectors discount because if you have so many cars you can’t drive them all so they are insured for less monthly

Crazy idea. Attempt the cannonball run in the Veyron, doesn’t even need to be that crazy of a run. Just set a record for a Veyron. Then once’s your in LA, go get the belts done.
The tires would not last very far. If you drive fast you need to keep changing them all the time.
Also, problem with gas mileage.
This would be so fabulously expensive. Plus he’d be pulled over immediately as he’d be driving the most obvious car possible
Wheels are period correct, they are the right color for the car. I like them. I would look into some custom ones just for tire options. Enjoy it!!!!

If I was in Ed’s shoes I would get rid of the Spiker…. Or the Verde Draco Merci. I think either one will take care of the loan on the Bug. At the end of the day, the Black Merci will be worth far more and a much better driving experience.

6:36 - $45,000 for tires is just ludicrous. How has a manufacturer not made replacements that may not be able to hit top speed but at least be 1/4 the cost?
Looked at the lease. Given the scheduled payments, and the remaining balloon payment, functionally works out like financing the car at 15.44% APR over 60 months. “Reasonable”, considering the risk!

Damn the belt job is my payoff for my ‘23 C8. I called the clowns at premier for a Gallardo quote, in five years I would’ve paid $90,000 on a car worth $105,000 with a $50k ballon.

I think while it is a dream car, the dream was being able to afford the maneuvering. My opinion is Ed’s favorite car involves a manual transmission and shifting gears. But let’s ask Ed!

My daily is a 2004 Dodge ram 3500 short bed with a 6 speed manual/4wd and a Cummins. Which is my dream rig. Paid 12,345 for it. They wanted 13, I offered 12, he said 12,5? I had to hit em with the $12,345?
I can’t really answer the one dream car for sure but I think a 1970 Chevelle restomod to have an LS-A/C-big brakes-cruise control and of coarse a 6 speed is as of today the top of my list.
