Deep Fried Seasoned Chicken Livers!
Take one tub of chicken livers from the store and rinse them with cold water. Cut then into 2 inch chunks and soak in buttermilk for
4 to 6 hours.
Coat them with a breading made of 2 cups of all purpose flour 1/4 cup corn starch, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp. of black pepper.
Deep Fry them in 350 degree oil for 2 minutes then let them rest and cool on a paper towel for 5 to 10 minutes.

I love love love chicken livers with onions. I put my seasoned flour in a ziplock bag, toss in the livers, shake and they're done at the same time. Great recipe.

I have needed this recipe so much , I always begged for chicken livers from a chicken place here Brown's Chicken they have the best I've ever had but unfortunately just found out they closed the one close and the next one is to far and now they want 9.00 for HALF A POUND of livers 😱 no way , now I can have Steve's yummy crunchy chicken livers 👏👏👏👏😃 all I need now is a container of fresh chicken livers now !!!

Red I made these and my husband raved about them, he told me they were better than the ones he loves from Chicken Express. He has asked me to cook those again. I served them with some mashed potatoes and white cream gravy. Tonight it will be with Rice and gravy.

today is my husband's birthday and he loves chicken livers and since we can't go to a restaurant this is what I'm going to make for his birthday supper. I cannot understand people who will not at least try a bite of something they think they won't like. It's not going to kill you, if you don't like it you can spit it out. That's how my husband is, but I know he likes these.

Thanks for the idea of serving these when having friends over for football, it's a great idea. Drizzle on a little Buffalo Wing sauce and drop some blue cheese crumbles over the hot livers and you have a real treat that simply cannot be beaten. Sorry the Vikings could not fulfill your dream of winning the Superbowl in their own stadium. I can attest to the great feeling of that actually happening... you see, I've been a Buccaneers fan since their inception. To me, Brady helping us do just that last year in Tampa Bay was the ultimate goal for a team that has paid their dues. I wish I would have had the chicken livers to compliment all of the other food we had prepared for the event.

Have you ever gotten Hidden Valley Ranch Powder and mixed it into sour cream for your dip? It's WONDERFUL! (I keep a canister of Hidden Valley Ranch Powder in my cabinet for seasoning chicken and for several other recipes.) You'll never want the bottle type once you make it yourself!
I make up a Big 24 oz. container of Sour Cream and use it on so many things. (Mix it in a bowl and store in the same container.) It's great to have in the fridge for dipping fresh cucumbers, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower in as a healthy snack or for get togethers. *You can add a bit of Buttermilk into the sour cream to thin it down some if you'd like...but using just sour cream is my favorite.

The buttermilk gets rid of most of the gamey flavors, I always add a little pickle juice to mine.
I fry mine in peanut oil and enjoy with some vinegar based hot sauce like Louisiana hot sauce, cholula, tabasco or Frank's hot sauce. So delicious

I use the ranch dressing with the onion rings Arby's had the best onion rings but they took them away

I love fried chicken livers, but hate the way they "pop" and explode hot grease on you while cooking them. I like that you left that part in your video because the only answer is to dodge the explosion. If you poke holes in the livers after you wash them, they won't explode as bad because you release the little air pockets inside of them. Love this recipe, man! Thanks!

I love these but I’ll never fry them again ever! It was going really nice till a couple minutes went by. Sounded like guns going off, grease popped up on the ceiling and walls; I also got popped on my arm real bad.
