I’ve been saying this for a while lol just like the F-16 and MiG-29 releasing together, the F-15 and Su-27 have to release together. Then later on maybe the F/A-18 Hornet and the Su-33 Flanker D.
its really hard to compare the two realistically, the su-33 actually had worse flight performance than the su-27. canards were added to help with wing area at low speed for carrier landing, but outside of that the canards on the 33 actually hindered it. additionally, the acceleration was worse and the extra thrust given by the engines was only meant to be used for carrier launches the MiG-29K or early Su-27 would be a much more realistic counter to an F-18
Just a few things: 1.) The Su-27 wouldn't go after the Su-17M4. The Su-24 and Su-34 go there since they're attack vehicles. I would expect the Su-27 to go right after the SMT while the Su-33 would go after the Yak-141. 2.) China got the F-16A MLU the same patch that the F-16s came to the game, so there isn't much stopping them from putting the J-11 into the Chinese TT if the Su-27 comes as well. China of course wouldn't need a J-11 (the MLU getting AMRAAMs would do just fine), but I wouldn't say Gaijin would limit China.
Very nice and well researched video. Note: There's actually 2 major types of Su-27S: an "early" type from 1985 and a "late" from 1987. Their only practical differences ingame would be the amount of countermeasures. External changes are the presence of an antiflutter counterweight on the fins (similar to what the F-15 has on the very top of its own rudder fins) and a smaller tailboom (with less chaff/flare dispensers and less ECM equipement) on the earlier variant. Also, there's a small batch Su-30M2 that Gaijin could eventually bring as premium or event vehicle. This variant is based on the Chinese (or Indian?) export version and it's very similar to the Su-30SM, but without the canards. In real life there's only about 20 of them in service with the Russian Air Force and are all alocated for training.

idk where talk of the backwards facing radar in the Su35 came from. there was plans to add one to the Su57 but it didn’t make it into the production model because of cost reasons
I’d definitely like them to try to introduce the naval version at the same time Or bring it in whenever the Hornet shows up because Hornet also has insane (for the game) missile load capability
Regular Hornet counter for me would be MiG-29K ( Actually KR is Russian variant ) I think it's made on a whole new base that is MiG-29M's base... It has similar or same radar as SMT does... And more pylons... so 2x ER's and 6x R-73's or R-77's And god knows what else

I mean honestly the USSR should get the Mig-25, thats what caused the west to overreact and build the F-15. Even more so, since the pilot who defected to Japan onboard his Mig-25 just passed away very recently, it'd be a great nod to him
I don't care if it would end up just F-15 vs Su-27. Raise the BR when adding new aircraft. Jump straight to 13.0 this time. I swear if the F-15 shows up at 12.3 or 12.7
@@fpsxk thats not how it works brother. the f16c at 12.3 can do the same shit the f15 can do , f16c can carry 6xaim120 , smt can also carry 6xr77 , so f16c will have the exact same range as the f15. the only advantage the f15 has is that it can probably carry more missiles , but it depends on gaijin if they limit it to 4 missiles then it can only carry 4x aim120 + 4xaim9m. su27 is harder to balance , earliest variant can carry 4xr73 + 6xr27er , and the one that can carry r77 will be ablet to carry 6xr77+ 4x r73. the problem is not r77 but the combo of r77+ r27er + r73. su27 will get the missile with the longest range (r27er) and it will also get arh missile (r77) and plenty of close range missile (4xr73). imagine 2xr27er + 4xr77 + 4xr73. or 2xr27er + 2xr77 + 2xr27et + 4xr73.
Pretty good video. Su-30 had R-77 capability and was erroneously referred to as the Su-27PU, it was actually the T10-PU5. The Su-30S and SM followed shortly after, M being capable of multirole, and would be the analogue to the F-15E, not the Fullback.
I disagree, I think China will absolutely get their Su-27/J-11 (and eventually the Su-30/35). Partly because when Heavy fighters come to WT it will likely be a 3-way between the F-15, Su-27 and typhoon much like Apex added the Tornado, 16, and 29. Also another thing to keep in mind: Gaijin is super lazy, they would rather reskin a already modelled Su-27 to save money and dev time and give it to China than model, skin and give China it's giga cracked out J-10 and it's ordnance.
... Germany got their MiG-29 a patch later, which is what I expect to happen with China as well. That's what I said in the video too. Russia has Su-27 for a patch, then China gets theirs. In the meantime the MLU and the J-8F can get their fox 3s

There is literally no difference between these planes - the Su-27P simply does not have the capability to use nuclear weapons because the necessary gear have been removed from it.
Well just recently one of the 104's got it's load increased from either 2 or 4 to 4 or 6 missiles (aka, to the amount it could actually carry), pretty sure it was the 104J? Or one of the 104G's? And I mean, this is partly because Sparrows weren't added yet, but the F-4's only had 4x AIM-9 for the longest time. There's more examples I'm having a hard time thinking of, but they have infact limited missile counts before.
@@evangalinsky2499 i think the f104 is due to limited sources ?. even the mirage 2000 had 2 magics for a very long time but someone actually send a better source recently and it can use 4 magics now.
@@hemendraravi4787 regardless, that's still them intentionally limiting the missile count. Whether due to the sources they had at the time, or at their own discretion, it's still artificially nerfing the count. And with the Mirage, I guess you could say the count of the Magic 2 was limited, but I was talking more overall, as regardless the M2K still has 4 missiles. The 2000-5F is technically artificially limited, but like the F-4's that's just because MICA missiles haven't been added yet. However when they do get added, I bet they won't allow it 8 missiles like it capable of (6 MICA (4 in recessed mounts under fuselage, 2 where the 530D's mount), 2 Magic 2's) and will limit it to 6 (all MICA or 4 and 2)
A-10 Early, Yak-38 and Yak-38M are two recent ones, in the past they also restricted the number of mavericks planes could use. That's just off the top of my head, they've done it more times in the past.

Loving these types of videos lee
Glad to hear it!
IMO AIM-120/R-77/MICA tier missiles should be intoruced on bricks like Tornado ADV, Mirage F1 etc... Highly capable platforms with OP missiles will break high BR gameplay even further unless major changes to matchmaker are made.
Mirage F1 can’t even carry MICA’s
@@SimplyShar_ Not the ones in game, but F1 MF2000 can. I see no bad in adding export versions, IMO it makes more sense than prototypes.
For the f15 to exist it needs the mig25 to exist also
F-15A vs MiG-25PD
F-15C vs MIG-31BM
@@STRYKER1467 yes
Flankers ah man, can't wait for them.
Gaijin should start focusing on Rank 8 ground, I want the
Germany: KF51, Leopard 2A7, PzH2000
Ussr: T-90M, T-14
make it a series
Project wingman mentioned :DDD
Note that chart you used is accurate for the flanker but it uses the Soviet estimate for the eagle which underestimates the eagle somewhat. I’d recommend to go get the rate charts from the eagles performance manual and overlay them. If you want them I can give you a link.
I'm surprised you didn't include that the su-27 was built off of stolen f-15 diagrams lol, that always triggers su-27 stans when they hear that haha.
You also totally missed the Su-35S Flanker-E. Also Su-34 is more like an F-111, Su-30 has been used in F-15E like roles.
6er's is gonna go crazy
There is a R-27EA and EM with active radar seeker head they will probably give to later Su-27 instead of R-77.
Hi generallee can you also explain the Japanese missiles if it wear to come to the game for example the aam-4 missile
Air to air missile - 4?
The AAM-4 is a very advanced radar missile that's about conteporary with late AMRAAM C versions, and is too good to come for now.
@@GeneralLee2000 ohhh ok thank you for clearing it up bcs I wasn't sure if those missiles are good yk but so does that mean if the F15j comes for Japan would we get the amraam A and b with aim9ms?
And also lol sorry for the big questions but did Japan ever have aim9xs on its F15j and mitsubishi f2?
@@thegremoryscurse7688 most likely AMRAAM A/B yes, and no, the Japanese never used the 9X. They'd have the AAM-3 and 5 instead after we move past the AIM-9M. They never used the 9M, but the AAM-3 is too good for now
@@GeneralLee2000 oh ok thank you for clearing it up to me I understand now so that means the Japanese won't aim9ms or 9xs unfortunately but ok hopefully we get a good missile still and at least we'll be able to use amraam A and B for now, thank you generallee it means alot I learned alot today.
I was really watching the MiG-29 gameplay thinking, "Have I seen this before?" Took me 5 minutes to realize that it was from your stream. And since the Yak Line is kind of a Naval Line and there's nothing else really to add (expect maybe the 130), do you think the Su-33 would go after the 141?
su27k/su33 could go there
MiG 29K could also get added
Yak-141M probably with 6 missiles instead of 4(including r-73 and r-77)
Mig29k/su27k
Hahaha, yeah that's why I was playing the MiG-29. And yeah, I expect the Su-33 and MiG-29K to go after the Yak-141
7:55 Why does that F-16C have no name?
probably a disconnected player
The J-11's should have been discussed here. Some of the very best modern Flankers are J-16's and J-11D's
I said the same thing and lee replied saying that there are way to many Chinese versions they it should have its own video
I'm gonna make a dedicated video for Chinese flankers at some point, I said in the video that I was focusing on the Russian ones in this video.
I hope we can do the cobra maneuver properly with it
And then die horribly because you dump literally all your speed.
@@luuk341yes
Youd probably have to do the maneuver with full real controls and no damping, as that would act as if its aoa limiter was turned off
@@luuk341 Not unless you time it correctly.
Cobras have worked for me in the J-35 often.
@@michaelstodovski2219dranken pilots created the cobra maneuver
Su27sk is not a downgraded version, along with all other su-27 variants exported to China, you can find plenty of documents proving this fact.
idk where talk of the backwards facing radar in the Su35 came from. there was plans to add one to the Su57 but it didn’t make it into the production model because of cost reasons
What about a video on a somewhat possible Eurofighter Typhoon?
I'll make one next year, it's been denied this update.
@GeneralLee2000 Ok, but as of my knowledge they are making a new top-tier British jet fighter? Maybe a Canadian CF-18 Hornet or something 🤔.
I’d definitely like them to try to introduce the naval version at the same time
Or bring it in whenever the Hornet shows up because Hornet also has insane (for the game) missile load capability
Nah, su-33 needs a different modeling. Gaijin will introduce it separately. Cause they are lazy and greedy AF.
Regular Hornet counter for me would be MiG-29K ( Actually KR is Russian variant )
I think it's made on a whole new base that is MiG-29M's base...
It has similar or same radar as SMT does...
And more pylons... so 2x ER's and 6x R-73's or R-77's
And god knows what else
where did u got that mig29 skin, looks fire
idk about and i like all this new stuff gaijin is adding but. im still waiting for my mig-31 fox hound to come since i remeber a bunch of people including me asking for it when the mig 23 was added. i would love to missle joust like those f-4's launching their long range radar missles from 8km away or just be a better f-14. though i can only dream
I swear if the F-15 shows up at 12.3 or 12.7
f15 is probably 12.7.
@@hemendraravi4787I ain't gonna play if the F15 insta strike me from 999km away
@@hemendraravi4787 I ain't reading that 🔥🥶🥶💯
@@fpsxk just explaining that aim120s for f16c is the same as aim120s for f15 , both will have the same range.
Pretty good video. Su-30 had R-77 capability and was erroneously referred to as the Su-27PU, it was actually the T10-PU5.
The Su-30S and SM followed shortly after, M being capable of multirole, and would be the analogue to the F-15E, not the Fullback.
another one of Lee's skitzo posting (i love it)
I hope we get the Su-30MKI, it has some interesting loadout options
How about the Su-27M/Su-35 (early)? Single seat Flanker with canards + modified airframe, but no TVC.
I've fucked up my settings, what in the settings is the "4 dots" aiming for radar missiles? Thanks in advance.
What was the first mig 29 skin you were using called? i want to download it but cant find it
Very good
This sheer number of new yachts from just one aircraft is incredible
??
@@hemendraravi4787 it’s a joke about the Russians stealing money from their military programs (still happens today)
Theres only 1 issue with the no r77 statement, hijinks has said that when 90s ers fox 3a come to the game, they are going to give them to every nation
In the video he suggested these would come to the Mig-29 SMT and Yak -141 which could carry the R-77 but not as many
@@robanson32 smt can carry 6xr77 aswell. but it wont be able to carry r73s , while the flanker can carry 4 more including 6 r77s.(atleast the normal base variants)
They could also just give the Su 27 the R27EA
@@blackjack8697 not much information is known about r27ea , many are saying that it got cancelled and research moved on to r77. funnily the r27ea would have more range than r77/aim120/mica/pl12/derby. we may get it in game but it would be too op. so i dont think we will get it.
@@hemendraravi4787 I heavily doubt that it would have more range than the amraam, even more so the fucking MICA

russian su27 wasn't able to carry r77 until the su27sm version

Most likely Su-17
F-15 Eagle STOL/MTD would be a cool aircraft to add

Why did you put the SU-33 13.0 but the SU-27S 12.7 ? You do realize the SU-33 is not able to use any BVRAAM missiles ?
Gripen video would be pretty good, might help Sweden mains not get their hopes up for having "the best fighter"
In the works :)
Wait, wtf is that Israeli F-16D? *At **2:11**.*
it appeared to me in my sleep
i think they will add su-27s or su-27p
There is literally no difference between these planes - the Su-27P simply does not have the capability to use nuclear weapons because the necessary gear have been removed from it.
the F-15P(een) strikes again! but the glorious flanker will win 💥💥
thx, do Gripen next pls
Slovakia MiG-29S camouflage oh yeaaaah
Make video on Gripen, Rafale and Typhoon.

PO-2 with R-73s when?
6:36 when did they artificially nerf the number of missiles ?
@@evangalinsky2499 mirage 2000 cannont carry more than 6 mica . where did u get the 8 missile count from ? . just cus it has 8 pylons dosent mean the flight system can handle 8 mica. by that logic f4 can carry 10 sidewinders. but can only carry 4..
