IRL they were installed at least in late 1980s and by that time, AMRAAMs are still not in service. That's why I've always think they should add F-15A (AIM-7M+AIM-9L) before F-16C (I thought it would be the first AMRAAM carrier). But Gaijin thinks copy and paste is easier and waste even more effort trying to find proof that F-16C block 50 do have AIM-7 capability.
I have proof that the F-16C is not capable of using the Sparrow missiles. The proof is a source that Gaijin previously accepted for other F-16 issues. It states that the only F-16 capable of using the Sparrow system was the F-16 ADF and that's it. So they told me it's not a bug and shut down the report. I made the report 3 times pointing out extra information each time and they immediately shut it down saying not a bug. The source is also cleared public release info that is not classified, obviously.
Well, F-16c block 50 that US operate doesn't use aim-7, but the radar can guide Aim7 using a different illumination method. It a stopgap for the AMRAAM.

The block 40 16s I crew have been getting AESA radars as well. The performance is really impressive.. especially for its size. Can't wait for the 15 in game! Long overdue!
The F-15 is sidely noted as having better low speed turn than the F-16. This is because 1. It has a lower wing loading and a lower stall speed. For the same reason, the F-15 turns *much* better at high altitude. 2. It has no AoA or G limiters of any kind and its control surfaces will keep going as long as you pull harder. The F-16 wins out in sea level sustained turn because it achieves a higher L/D ratio through leading edge slats and a higher aspect ratio wing. It also accelerates better in the subsonic while the F-15 runs away past Mach 1.2 due to its shock ramp intakes.
I've read some crazy forum posts and story accounts of pilots and their f-15s pulling something insane like 20+ gs for a few seconds and the airframe only getting a a small crack

Now for the December i think we just get aim-120 and R 77 for existing planes like the F16C/D ,MiG 29smt ,AV-8B+, tornado F3 ,F4F ice and pl12 for J8f.
All the MiG-29s are accurate with FMs from what I've seen. Someone a lot smarter with me (and the documents to prove it) did a lot of the bug reporting that led to the changes we see in-game.
Fix how it's literraly how the meta was back in 2016 the migs are faster and retain their energy better while the sabres( F-16's) have a better roll and turn time i have no issues on that part apart from the russians having the broken BVR missele

One problem with F-15J. Japan was a very early adopter of the 15 as such they only had AIM-7F/M and AIM-9s with AAM-3 they did not have AIM-120s in inventory until they adopted the F-35. As such the F-15j got multiple update programs one of the early ones adding AAM-3 and AAM-4A capability (AAM-3 was also used on EJ Kai) while the unofficially called F-15J Kai having AAM-5 abd AAM-4B capability with updated radar. The AAM-4 is larger than the amraam btw and at least the B version has an aesa seeker. As such japan can get 3-4 versions of F-15J. But well lets face is the japanese F-15s will eb the best looking ones in the game with all the unique agressor camos their Js and DJs have!
Living in Oregon I’ve had the pleasure of seeing the 142nd Wing F-15C’s in person (and touching one, shh don’t tell) and talking to their ground crew, including their avionics specialist who said that this winter is being pulled to go write the maintenance manual for the F-15EX. He also said I ask too many (of the wrong) questions, and should probably stop before we become the next Jack Teixeira. Apparently the liquid cooling in the wheel well isn’t that confidential so I did get to see up inside of there, anything forward of that however was a no go, AESA radars it seems are super duper classified. Regardless, I’ve always been a a fan of the F-15 and with the Oregon ANG being the first to get the F-15EX (and apparently the first time an ANG has gotten and aircraft before an active duty unit, ever) I’ve seriously considered applying for the Wing after I get my ATP certificate in a couple years. As for the EX it it actually a continuation of the F-15E, which became the F-15K, SA, and QA. Thanks to those export evolutions the airframe has evolved to the point that it’s not an F-15 anymore, reviving strengthened wings and a full FBW system. It does however still weighs as much as an F-15E airframe, though it’s the only American Eagle to receive GE motors, and according to a report the first units delivered to the Oregon and California ANG will not initially come with CFT’s, opting for bags instead like their older brethren, likely because that’s what they have in their respective inventories, as I believe they’re not making new CFT’s anymore, though don’t quote me one that.
Fully convinced that the end of year update will add more light fighters such as the Gripen (confirmed) and J10 (PL 9 found in files), and will also add Fox 3s to the game. As much as I love them, I dont think the F15s and Flankers will come until later. Who knows, but fingers crossed! 11/12/23 Update: I was wrong 🥺

Give all partner nations a DA.7 equivalent aircraft with downgraded Tornado engines, Captor M, 4 amraams and 2 AIM-9L/i and that is more than balanced against the F-15 in the near future. Maybe not the same update, but the next major update after the F-15C drops. If Britain and Germany had to fight the F-16C/AJ with the Mig-29 9-12 post nerf and the fucking harrier and tornado, then the US and others can manage with the extra fox-3's.
@@simula152 We’re pretty much approaching these planes sooner rather than later. There is the inherent need to balance with the lack of Gen 4 fighters with Germany, UK, and Italy. The first Gripen and EF-2000 are comparable to the F-15C in capabilities anyways for balance reasons If the F-15 and Su-27 will come out around similar times because of their capabilities then the side nations will have to eventually follow suit with Gen 4 or be perpetually unbalanced

The F-15A and C the early variant, The 1978-1985 Production is the one that cannot Carry AAMRAM and doesn't have the Countermeasure Dispenser (CMDs). While The 1983 or 1988 Production is the one with upgraded avionics to make it AAMRAM Compatible and have CMDs.
People are always complaining and shouting they don't want the AIM120, but air rb is already a deck furball based on who has the best/most IRCCM missiles. Against competent players the AIM54 and R27ER only serve as extra weight, they will eventually ram into the ground unless you get lucky and your target makes a mistake and climbs too high and then doesn't notch/dive back. If the AIM120 was in the game right now people would do what? They'd stay low to the deck and pilot until they can use IR. It is time for the aim120 and it is time for a real man's plane; here is to hoping General Lee is right 🔥
I just want the F18, its my favorite american jet, however, the ability to carry up to 10 Aim-9 + 2 Sparrows will probably make Gaijin wait to add it, same as the Su-27, my favorite russian, because it can carry 6 R73s + 4 R27s, those jets will be way superior just because of the ammount of missiles, the F15s should be added tho, it can carry pretty much the same loadout of the F14B and i dont see anyone complaining about the Tomcat breaking the game or something like that, same as the grippen, that carry pretty much the same missiles and ammount of them as the F16C that we already have in game. It would be nice if you make more videos like this one, specially talking about the F18 family and the Su27 family.
Is there any small difference between the MSIP A-airframe and the C-airframe besides the exterior? Could some F-15A MSIPs still have the F100-PW-100 engines while others received the 220/220E? Edit: It gets even wilder, I can’t even comprehend on this. There are some photos of Massachusetts 101st Fighter Squadron ANG F-15As from 2007 has AIM-9X-like missile on the outer missile pylon. Are F-15A MSIPs also capable of carrying AIM-9Xs? Or are they AIM-9X training missiles?

before Gaijin starts adding missiles and air to ground munitions with even longer ranges they need to start adding area air defence systems. Having even an 8010km missile range on an IRSAM system isn't going to cut it when you are getting JDAM'd from 30-40km out, let alone Storm Shadow'd from the next country.
I think the F-15C will come with the C-3 or C-4 AMRAAM instead of the B. Same range but smaller control surfaces. They were more widely used since the time between the B and early Cs was only 2 years. I could also see them doing and Early and Late version of the F-15C. If they do that then I could see them doing a 1995 version with the Aim-120B and Aim-9M as well as a 2005 version with the Aim-120C-7 and Aim-9X.
You misunderstand why Gaijin does two seaters as event rewards, that is because they think of them as ground attack aircraft due to Top Gun Maverick with the rear seater acting as WSO. 1:17 "No capability for CAS" F-15A/B manual and SAC list 3x Mk-84, GBU-8, GBU-15 (both listed as Mk 84 EO) or 9x BLU-27/B Finned / Unfinned Napalm bombs or 18x Mk 82. This isn't a Baz only thing. 7:59 F-15J never used AMRAAM, but AAM-4 instead.
I just double checked the manual: thr only GBU it lists is the GBU 10. Theres 2 types of Mark 84 in it, both of which are unguided. You might wanna double check that... (I checked the 1975, 1986 and 1989 manuals). As for the F-15J, it has actually used AMRAAM now. They put some AMRAAM C-7 on the F-15J, as they bought some with their F-35 purchase. Even before that, they did compatibility test the AMRAAM in 2001 and it works just fine. This is the only way for Japan to get AMRAAM, so I'm sure they won't care about japan not buying the AMRAAM A/B just like all the other missiles that other countries have used, but never bought.

The next WT meta will be “side climb to 30kft and dont get spotted by AI”, relying on BVR radar missiles to track, while players defend from 4-5 missile warnings at once, from planes that are not on their screens lol. We are moving so quickly to a DCS style game, with almost none of the realism.
Let's not forget that for a hot minute, F15As were floating about with 9Es and 7Es of various types (such as DFs) due to the jets being built at the wrap-up of vietnam xD It's as if nobody ever recognizes that part of history, lmao Not just that, but the jets, albeit earlier versions than the F15E, were still built with all of the strike systems M/MD offered as stock to improve sales and to solidify orders, and these systems are still retained if not poorly iirc. The As, Bs, Cs, and Ds all have the capability to employ all ranges of dumb bombs, TV vontrast/Flir bombs, and GBUs that would literally just be dumb bombs with guidance kits for other jets to lase, unless you found out how to mount an early 70s wing or belly tgp on an F15. lmao Honestly, it should not be too hard to see such basic capabilities come to the game since they were logically just restricting the jets from using those weapons via usage manuals rather than physical capabilities to be freed up for combat air patrol, etc, but whatever lmao... In the instance of premium F15s, though. . . All versions of the F15, F14 F16, F18, Mig29, Su27 M2k, etc should obviously come as researchable content with copy pastes for specific units or whatever to preserve the ability for normal players to access the planes and their gameplay just as the devs have done before. Anything else such as specific jets being event only would be unethical content cockblocking in favor of $$$ and would allow specific nations much later dated content at a similar but unbalanced brs, making only one side capable regularly (duh). . . Now for the juicy part! The following is a dialog based upon the weapon capabilities of F15 versions, and all radar/engine/etc related upgrades aside should be included in the early/mid/late system as realistic. All F15 variants that we have flown in the US, short of the EX and other recent exports should all technically get multiple variants such as (early), (mid), and (late) This would allow for lets say an "early" F15A/B with trash vietnam era sparrows and sidewinders and extremely limited cms, putting them in between F4C/J and F16A brs as per irl date realism. This logic is also compounded by actual in-game balance standards based on the jets actual performance, due to planes with much better missiles, radars, cms, and even performance conveniently being in these ranges, (sometimes like irl), but not realistically in history per the topic, but as wt's balance is based around performance rather than era standards, this is okay. (This will come up in every instance of the F15 and etc, because they are coming later than realistically expected... (duh) But you might hopefully see that the variants still end up fitting in due to other tts having similarly or higher capability content irl+in wt, and will inevitably fight better mods of themselves like irl). A "mid" version would give the planes capable non all aspects, early and late all aspects, and access to the latest capable sparrows, which would set it nicely at early F16C capabilities in irl dating and performance and in game balance. Lastly for the A/B would be the "late" and would come much much much later as those jets would see the introduction of only really the latest sparrows possible, and then of course the earliest to most up to date for the time Aim120s/9L/Ms and the earliest gen/block 9Xs seen in the time that the jets went out (08-ish due to fatigue and age). This would finish off the A/B for the us and most likely we should and could see a similar style for the Japanese and Israel F15s, while seeing some differences due to their own modifications and aam tech that would alter brs compared to us jets as you do. F15Cs would follow an extremely similar setup, but their "early" classification would be in the earliest all aspect+early+/or late aim7 spectrum, etc. A "mid" would be seen in that late 90's late Aim7F/M+Aim120A/B standard of the end of the cold war, gulf war, and right afterwards. This would also include late 9Ms to only the earliest 9X blocks as standard to not overload the mod tree and represent the Cs in that era + other shiz lmao. The late would easily sit in the more recent equipping of us ang F15s with the earlier 2000s/2010s aams, and most up to date 9Xs, Aim120s, and other weaponry that we are seeing up to their retirement as to represent this era of the jets realistically with older tech and radars than Es and EXs, but newer stuff than the latest As, etc. F15Es basically mimic the mid/late ratings of the F15C/D in essence, but are basically just bomb trucks/aam slingers with better radars+tech, and their "early" would be almost identical to that of the "mid" F15C/D with 7Ms+(msybe not even)120A/Bs, while the "mid" would mimic the "late" of the F15C/Ds with 9L/M/Xs/7Ms+mid 2k's Aim120s, and the "late" (as we know of their future irl) would mimic the capabilities of the first or "early" F15EXs with basically the most up to date Aim120s, Aim260s, and Aim9Xs so far, etc at F22/NGAD brs depending on flux of battle ratings... IRL, the F15C/D have CFT capabilities (and should have them as togglable mods for weapon loadout reasons) and they are almost religeously stock standard on Es irl, though they DO retain the ability to remove their CFTs, even though its an unrealistic process to do so and they will most likely come with them as standard (not removeable, but would be nice) whereas the EX would realistically be able to take them optionally alike the F15C as is planned irl. This is all to say that we can have actual capability and variety in the F15 AND other jets from ALL TTs which allows for this scary thing called / V a r i e t y / In matches instead of fighting ONLY the same boring F15s, etc with the same 2ish aams and no variety other than 3x F15s between the F4s and F22 😂 (duch as F15A, F15C, F15E) We can easily see upgrades such as MSIP, etc, added to these specific early, mid, and late specifications rather than just specific mods of the jets coming to very specifically differentiate each modification and their capabilities within reason, realism, and especially balance based on the state of each bracket they end up in and time. That kind of thinking also easily applies to other planes (or tanks or helis or boats) such as the F4, F5, F16, F14, F18, Mig29/upgrades, Su27/upgrades, Jas39, Tornadoes, Eurofighters, Mig23s, Mig25/31s, Rafaels, Mirages, F22s, F35s, Su57s, J20s and so on! This should honestly be more of a topic of suggestion+implementation in all areas of wt and be kindly but realistically suggested to the devs rather than the standard just always be saying "[insert specific upgrade package used over 30etc years here] cAn AnD ShOuLd OnLy GeT (this) and (this) wItHiN (tHeSe) ExTrEmElY nArRoW sPeCiFiCaTiOnS", which allows for more of the aforementioned balance and variety for all parts of war tinder! xD Finally though, these aforementioned versions of each NEED to be represented in drop downs with progression alike: F15A (EARLY) -> F15A(MID) -> F15A (LATE), etcetera. F15C (EARLY), etc F15E (EARLY), etc F15EX (maybe as of now as a drop down under the F15E), etc F22A (EARLY) and possibly specific blocks per early/mid/late to differentiate specific models their own aam, radar, rwr, jamming, bomb, etc capabilities as to make gameplay for them more unique than just an example like: Such and such nametag (in the distance) [F22] = "oh well im a mig29 from the 90s/2000s or etc, and he only uses the latest 120s and aim260s! Cuz nobody at WT specified eras of the F22 lmao! It's not like anyone even remembers when they only had the earliest 120s irl while fighting early 2000s F15Es and F16Cblk50s with literally the same aams! smh!!! (dies)" And much more! THE END

Like I said, Baz Meshupar is a later name for a modification of BOTH the F-15A/C. Akef was the original name for the F-15C before that

One problem with F-15J. Japan was a very early adopter of the 15 as such they only had AIM-7F/M and AIM-9s with AAM-3 they did not have AIM-120s in inventory until they adopted the F-35.
As such the F-15j got multiple update programs one of the early ones adding AAM-3 and AAM-4A capability (AAM-3 was also used on EJ Kai) while the unofficially called F-15J Kai having AAM-5 abd AAM-4B capability with updated radar. The AAM-4 is larger than the amraam btw and at least the B version has an aesa seeker. As such japan can get 3-4 versions of F-15J.
But well lets face is the japanese F-15s will eb the best looking ones in the game with all the unique agressor camos their Js and DJs have!

Living in Oregon I’ve had the pleasure of seeing the 142nd Wing F-15C’s in person (and touching one, shh don’t tell) and talking to their ground crew, including their avionics specialist who said that this winter is being pulled to go write the maintenance manual for the F-15EX. He also said I ask too many (of the wrong) questions, and should probably stop before we become the next Jack Teixeira. Apparently the liquid cooling in the wheel well isn’t that confidential so I did get to see up inside of there, anything forward of that however was a no go, AESA radars it seems are super duper classified.
Regardless, I’ve always been a a fan of the F-15 and with the Oregon ANG being the first to get the F-15EX (and apparently the first time an ANG has gotten and aircraft before an active duty unit, ever) I’ve seriously considered applying for the Wing after I get my ATP certificate in a couple years.
As for the EX it it actually a continuation of the F-15E, which became the F-15K, SA, and QA. Thanks to those export evolutions the airframe has evolved to the point that it’s not an F-15 anymore, reviving strengthened wings and a full FBW system. It does however still weighs as much as an F-15E airframe, though it’s the only American Eagle to receive GE motors, and according to a report the first units delivered to the Oregon and California ANG will not initially come with CFT’s, opting for bags instead like their older brethren, likely because that’s what they have in their respective inventories, as I believe they’re not making new CFT’s anymore, though don’t quote me one that.
Fully convinced that the end of year update will add more light fighters such as the Gripen (confirmed) and J10 (PL 9 found in files), and will also add Fox 3s to the game.
As much as I love them, I dont think the F15s and Flankers will come until later. Who knows, but fingers crossed!

@@simula152 They are more than capable of limiting the Eurofighters performance. Give all partner nations a DA.7 equivalent aircraft with downgraded Tornado engines, Captor M, 4 amraams and 2 AIM-9L/i and that is more than balanced against the F-15 in the near future. Maybe not the same update, but the next major update after the F-15C drops.
If Britain and Germany had to fight the F-16C/AJ with the Mig-29 9-12 post nerf and the fucking harrier and tornado, then the US and others can manage with the extra fox-3's.
@@simula152 We’re pretty much approaching these planes sooner rather than later. There is the inherent need to balance with the lack of Gen 4 fighters with Germany, UK, and Italy. The first Gripen and EF-2000 are comparable to the F-15C in capabilities anyways for balance reasons
If the F-15 and Su-27 will come out around similar times because of their capabilities then the side nations will have to eventually follow suit with Gen 4 or be perpetually unbalanced

The F-15A and C the early variant, The 1978-1985 Production is the one that cannot Carry AAMRAM and doesn't have the Countermeasure Dispenser (CMDs). While The 1983 or 1988 Production is the one with upgraded avionics to make it AAMRAM Compatible and have CMDs.

People are always complaining and shouting they don't want the AIM120, but air rb is already a deck furball based on who has the best/most IRCCM missiles.
Against competent players the AIM54 and R27ER only serve as extra weight, they will eventually ram into the ground unless you get lucky and your target makes a mistake and climbs too high and then doesn't notch/dive back.
If the AIM120 was in the game right now people would do what? They'd stay low to the deck and pilot until they can use IR.

I just want the F18, its my favorite american jet, however, the ability to carry up to 10 Aim-9 + 2 Sparrows will probably make Gaijin wait to add it, same as the Su-27, my favorite russian, because it can carry 6 R73s + 4 R27s, those jets will be way superior just because of the ammount of missiles, the F15s should be added tho, it can carry pretty much the same loadout of the F14B and i dont see anyone complaining about the Tomcat breaking the game or something like that, same as the grippen, that carry pretty much the same missiles and ammount of them as the F16C that we already have in game.
It would be nice if you make more videos like this one, specially talking about the F18 family and the Su27 family.

Edit: It gets even wilder, I can’t even comprehend on this. There are some photos of Massachusetts 101st Fighter Squadron ANG F-15As from 2007 has AIM-9X-like missile on the outer missile pylon. Are F-15A MSIPs also capable of carrying AIM-9Xs? Or are they AIM-9X training missiles?

before Gaijin starts adding missiles and air to ground munitions with even longer ranges they need to start adding area air defence systems. Having even an 8010km missile range on an IRSAM system isn't going to cut it when you are getting JDAM'd from 30-40km out, let alone Storm Shadow'd from the next country.
I'm more interested in how we will implement the trust vector but I believe in the distant future
I think the F-15C will come with the C-3 or C-4 AMRAAM instead of the B. Same range but smaller control surfaces. They were more widely used since the time between the B and early Cs was only 2 years. I could also see them doing and Early and Late version of the F-15C. If they do that then I could see them doing a 1995 version with the Aim-120B and Aim-9M as well as a 2005 version with the Aim-120C-7 and Aim-9X.

You misunderstand why Gaijin does two seaters as event rewards, that is because they think of them as ground attack aircraft due to Top Gun Maverick with the rear seater acting as WSO.
1:17 "No capability for CAS" F-15A/B manual and SAC list 3x Mk-84, GBU-8, GBU-15 (both listed as Mk 84 EO) or 9x BLU-27/B Finned / Unfinned Napalm bombs or 18x Mk 82.
This isn't a Baz only thing.
7:59 F-15J never used AMRAAM, but AAM-4 instead.
I just double checked the manual: thr only GBU it lists is the GBU 10. Theres 2 types of Mark 84 in it, both of which are unguided. You might wanna double check that... (I checked the 1975, 1986 and 1989 manuals). As for the F-15J, it has actually used AMRAAM now. They put some AMRAAM C-7 on the F-15J, as they bought some with their F-35 purchase. Even before that, they did compatibility test the AMRAAM in 2001 and it works just fine. This is the only way for Japan to get AMRAAM, so I'm sure they won't care about japan not buying the AMRAAM A/B just like all the other missiles that other countries have used, but never bought.

Let's not forget that for a hot minute, F15As were floating about with 9Es and 7Es of various types (such as DFs) due to the jets being built at the wrap-up of vietnam xD

Not just that, but the jets, albeit earlier versions than the F15E, were still built with all of the strike systems M/MD offered as stock to improve sales and to solidify orders, and these systems are still retained if not poorly iirc. The As, Bs, Cs, and Ds all have the capability to employ all ranges of dumb bombs, TV vontrast/Flir bombs, and GBUs that would literally just be dumb bombs with guidance kits for other jets to lase, unless you found out how to mount an early 70s wing or belly tgp on an F15. lmao
Honestly, it should not be too hard to see such basic capabilities come to the game since they were logically just restricting the jets from using those weapons via usage manuals rather than physical capabilities to be freed up for combat air patrol, etc, but whatever lmao...
In the instance of premium F15s, though. . .
All versions of the F15, F14 F16, F18, Mig29, Su27 M2k, etc should obviously come as researchable content with copy pastes for specific units or whatever to preserve the ability for normal players to access the planes and their gameplay just as the devs have done before. Anything else such as specific jets being event only would be unethical content cockblocking in favor of $$$ and would allow specific nations much later dated content at a similar but unbalanced brs, making only one side capable regularly (duh). . .
Now for the juicy part!
The following is a dialog based upon the weapon capabilities of F15 versions, and all radar/engine/etc related upgrades aside should be included in the early/mid/late system as realistic.
All F15 variants that we have flown in the US, short of the EX and other recent exports should all technically get multiple variants such as (early), (mid), and (late)
This would allow for lets say an "early" F15A/B with trash vietnam era sparrows and sidewinders and extremely limited cms, putting them in between F4C/J and F16A brs as per irl date realism. This logic is also compounded by actual in-game balance standards based on the jets actual performance, due to planes with much better missiles, radars, cms, and even performance conveniently being in these ranges, (sometimes like irl), but not realistically in history per the topic, but as wt's balance is based around performance rather than era standards, this is okay. (This will come up in every instance of the F15 and etc, because they are coming later than realistically expected... (duh) But you might hopefully see that the variants still end up fitting in due to other tts having similarly or higher capability content irl+in wt, and will inevitably fight better mods of themselves like irl).
A "mid" version would give the planes capable non all aspects, early and late all aspects, and access to the latest capable sparrows, which would set it nicely at early F16C capabilities in irl dating and performance and in game balance.
Lastly for the A/B would be the "late" and would come much much much later as those jets would see the introduction of only really the latest sparrows possible, and then of course the earliest to most up to date for the time Aim120s/9L/Ms and the earliest gen/block 9Xs seen in the time that the jets went out (08-ish due to fatigue and age). This would finish off the A/B for the us and most likely we should and could see a similar style for the Japanese and Israel F15s, while seeing some differences due to their own modifications and aam tech that would alter brs compared to us jets as you do.
F15Cs would follow an extremely similar setup, but their "early" classification would be in the earliest all aspect+early+/or late aim7 spectrum, etc.
A "mid" would be seen in that late 90's late Aim7F/M+Aim120A/B standard of the end of the cold war, gulf war, and right afterwards. This would also include late 9Ms to only the earliest 9X blocks as standard to not overload the mod tree and represent the Cs in that era + other shiz lmao.
The late would easily sit in the more recent equipping of us ang F15s with the earlier 2000s/2010s aams, and most up to date 9Xs, Aim120s, and other weaponry that we are seeing up to their retirement as to represent this era of the jets realistically with older tech and radars than Es and EXs, but newer stuff than the latest As, etc.
F15Es basically mimic the mid/late ratings of the F15C/D in essence, but are basically just bomb trucks/aam slingers with better radars+tech, and their "early" would be almost identical to that of the "mid" F15C/D with 7Ms+(msybe not even)120A/Bs, while the "mid" would mimic the "late" of the F15C/Ds with 9L/M/Xs/7Ms+mid 2k's Aim120s, and the "late" (as we know of their future irl) would mimic the capabilities of the first or "early" F15EXs with basically the most up to date Aim120s, Aim260s, and Aim9Xs so far, etc at F22/NGAD brs depending on flux of battle ratings...
IRL, the F15C/D have CFT capabilities (and should have them as togglable mods for weapon loadout reasons) and they are almost religeously stock standard on Es irl, though they DO retain the ability to remove their CFTs, even though its an unrealistic process to do so and they will most likely come with them as standard (not removeable, but would be nice) whereas the EX would realistically be able to take them optionally alike the F15C as is planned irl.
This is all to say that we can have actual capability and variety in the F15 AND other jets from ALL TTs which allows for this scary thing called / V a r i e t y / In matches instead of fighting ONLY the same boring F15s, etc with the same 2ish aams and no variety other than 3x F15s between the F4s and F22 😂 (duch as F15A, F15C, F15E)
We can easily see upgrades such as MSIP, etc, added to these specific early, mid, and late specifications rather than just specific mods of the jets coming to very specifically differentiate each modification and their capabilities within reason, realism, and especially balance based on the state of each bracket they end up in and time. That kind of thinking also easily applies to other planes (or tanks or helis or boats) such as the F4, F5, F16, F14, F18, Mig29/upgrades, Su27/upgrades, Jas39, Tornadoes, Eurofighters, Mig23s, Mig25/31s, Rafaels, Mirages, F22s, F35s, Su57s, J20s and so on!
This should honestly be more of a topic of suggestion+implementation in all areas of wt and be kindly but realistically suggested to the devs rather than the standard just always be saying "[insert specific upgrade package used over 30etc years here] cAn AnD ShOuLd OnLy GeT (this) and (this) wItHiN (tHeSe) ExTrEmElY nArRoW sPeCiFiCaTiOnS", which allows for more of the aforementioned balance and variety for all parts of war tinder! xD
Finally though, these aforementioned versions of each NEED to be represented in drop downs with progression alike:
F15A (EARLY) -> F15A(MID) -> F15A (LATE), etcetera.
F15C (EARLY), etc
F15E (EARLY), etc
F15EX (maybe as of now as a drop down under the F15E), etc
F22A (EARLY) and possibly specific blocks per early/mid/late to differentiate specific models their own aam, radar, rwr, jamming, bomb, etc capabilities as to make gameplay for them more unique than just an example like:
Such and such nametag (in the distance) [F22] = "oh well im a mig29 from the 90s/2000s or etc, and he only uses the latest 120s and aim260s! Cuz nobody at WT specified eras of the F22 lmao! It's not like anyone even remembers when they only had the earliest 120s irl while fighting early 2000s F15Es and F16Cblk50s with literally the same aams! smh!!! (dies)"
