So after she finished school she got A job and makes her own money, build up her credit and has a very high credit score now . It is rare. I'm on my 3rd filipina wife, and she is just as mean, vicious, rude, negative as the other.
She admits she is that way to get what she wants and to motivate her family.
      We all resent her.
If after 20 years she doesn't get that she is destructive by now she'll never be a better person.
All this about a filipina being good is a put on.
Out of the hearts abundance the mouth speaks. And filipina talk too much.

Brown Brown Sgr I think you have a reading comprehension problem. I nor Richard said the word all. It is only our experience we speak of. If either of us said the word all, I could understand your point. When you read something, read the entire thing and understand the context in which the words are used. Or just go along in life and read and interpret what you want things be and never mind what the words actually say.

I been getting my Filipina girlfriend to come to uk on visit visa for few weeks at a time so she gets used to it here, so when we do get married it’s not quite so much of a culture shock to her. But I know what you mean when you say it feels rushed coz like I said to her would you really just want to get married and not know too much about the country you will live in. Well we have to wait for those visits due to work/money etc but I think it’s a good thing not to just suddenly rush everything.

Great video! I’m Pinay married to an American guy for 16yrs now and I can say that tampo is pretty common and the silent treatment can be dragging on for few days before, eventually as u 2 are more adjusted to yourselves, things will be much easier to deal with and sort little things out causing the tampo. As for a guy, bf, partner etc u counter tampo with “suyo”. Don’t quite describe it in english translation but what it is , is a way on guys side to reciprocate ur Wife/gf with TLC like sweet gesturings in return, they’ll come out of the mode right away.

The K1 Visa is not 90-days to get to know each other. the assumption is that you already did that. the 90-days is strictly to plan and execute a wedding. People get that point wrong. you should not be applying for a K1 if you have not already spent time and done all the things to know each other.

I disagree the K1 visa is flawed. It is up to you to spend time with the girl in her country to see if you want to marry her. It's not up to US to provide that for you, it's up to you. Purpose of the visa is once you have decided to marry her then you apply for visa to bring her home. The visa is not for you to bring her home first, then decide if you want to marry her. If that were the case and they gave you 6 or 9 months at home before deciding if you want to marry that opens the door for many, many people to bring a girl here for a good length of time with no real intention of marring her, just a good time for the guy and girl and that is not the purpose of K1 visa. You can not just open that door, would not be good for the country as many of those girls would not return to Philippines or whatever country they come from. We'd be flooded with those type visa's request. I'd be all in myself. Your damn right as would many, many others.

Exactly , if it takes many years then it takes many years, that's the reality of it. If you can not go there for 3 or 4 months even longer that is on you not the US to help you find a wife.

Agree with everything you said! I’m also 54 and my filipina wife is 35. She is making the sacrifice coming here to new world and trying to adjust to the U.S. and to someone like me who has already been married and like you not as romantic as she would like. I feel bad for her in so many ways but I know her life has improved in some as well. I think our biggest issue is our communication gap we have. I think she misunderstands a lot of what I say, and that’s frustrating to me the most. She has worked abroad as nanny in Dubai and Hong Kong for 10 years so getting homesick is not an issue for us.We did the K1 and court house wedding but going back to Leyte to renew our vows in December in front of all her family. @@LoveBeyondTheSea Indeed eclectic. Thanks to both our parents and having played musical instruments when we were in elementary school and junior high. Yes, the 70's music is extremely popular in the Philippines. The younger Filipinos, especially in the larger cities are more and more gravitating toward westernized modern music trends such as rap, computer generated synthesizer music and the like. Along with a more modernized city culture, they are becoming less respectful toward each other and a larger economic gap between wealthy and poor. Middle class has grown, but their middle class is still the US's lower income level. I could tell you some interesting true stories over my past 32 years of visiting the Philippines and helping the poor, that would boggle your mind. Especially regarding the graft and corruption in business, government and politics.

@@LoveBeyondTheSea Living in the Philippines is not that difficult. The main issues today are city air pollution and the ability for a foreigner to afford quality medical care and get to a decent hospital in time, in case of a medical emergency. My wife and I have recently befriended a sweet, honest single Filipina public school teacher who resides in Albuera, Leyte, an area that does not get much TH-cam coverage. Yup, everything you observed is pretty typical I would think. I can be pretty obtuse though. When Lynn pulls tampo on me, I ignore it totally because it does not really bother me. Two things we had to agree to early on in the marriage was the amount of money going to the family, not just the parents,. Finally we settled on she buys food and sundries for the family and a part of her car payment, and I use my money for everything else as I please, including a walleye boat. The other thing was she wanted to put photographs of my great grandfather and g-g-grandfather in their civil war uniforms (Ohio) out in the garage (probably over 2 feet tall), and put some junk from Bed Bath & Beyond on the wall in their place. She still tries, but knows I have to die first. If you want to make Yna really happy, buy her an Air Supply CD. God I hate the love dirges everyone sings on TFC and I know for a fact that Filipinos have some of the best bands out there if TFC would let them run the show.

I enjoy your videos. Before you married Yna, you mentioned that you had an issue with the idea of having to send money to Yna's family on a regular basis. Have you changed your mind regarding this financial issue? I had a Pilipino girlfriend and near the end of the relationship she began asking me to send money to her family in Mindinau . I was only seeing her on Sundays since she was living/working at her tita's house so it wasn't much of a relationship. Continue with the videos and have a nice marriage.

Now that I'm here in the USA, my family, friends and some relatives thought I have more than enough $. Lol. I couldn't blame them because that was also my way of thinking before. Lol. As for me, I tried to explain to them truthfully what really is the life here while encouraging them to do what the Americans do. Work and earn your money and never ask for it.

"Tampo" is a Filipina's way of saying that she is upset with you and wants you to say sorry. But in a different way. It is not the same as being angry. She just needs affection. It doesn't have to be about giving material things to snap her out of it. You have to do better than that. It requires some patient though. You just need to make her feel that you are sorry.

    • @edwardsterkowiec4839

How can I say sorry for something which I have no idea for what, for me tampo is borderline immature behaviour which shouldn't have a place in the serious relarionship it's not kindergarden or mental institution only relationship.

I think Yna will become happier if she started to work and earn some money. Btw, if you two will get divorce before 10 years of being married she will not get anything from you. And if you die, please God no, she couldn't also claim any benefits unless you write a will. It's your kids who can claim. I've heard this from a lot of Filipina. K1 visa is not flawed after all. But I think in the affidavit of Support, USCIS made sure that you are capable enough of supporting her needs within that 10 years. But everything will become better if she gets her work permit/ gc and is able to buy her own girlish needs and help you pay the bills. I'm saying this because I went through thesame process. I feel more dignified now that I'm working and my husband and I are investing into something for retirement. In 2 years, we were able to buy a property in the Philippines. You two should support each other. Goodluck to you guys.

Im filipina but im not typical person of tampo bcos that attitude is immaturity.i think its depend how a person grow,beliefs..not all filipina also sending money to their family.it is depends in the family where she belong bcos their are family or parents here that they do not ask support in their children.it depends in the daughter if she wants to help or sending money to them.
