Philippines made it easier now for foreigners to get married. No longer need to go to PH counselor to get affidavit to get married. You can get a lawyer to have affidavit for certificate legal capacity contract of marriage.

Hi! If you do things in advance like the CPAM etc before he comes to PH, the actual getting married part is just fast. But not sure he can fly to PH now to get married as it’s restricted due to covid.

Hello po. Ilang beses na po namin pinapanood ni Fiancé itong vid nyo (French din po sya, 27 and ako po 25). Sana ganito din po kabilis yung mangyari samin. Nag sstart palang po kami mag gather ng documents. Siguro magpasa kami sa embassy by end of June. We plan to move in France by January 2023 🤞🏻
Naka tourist visa po sya since feb 2022 (3months na po sya dito living with me at plan po namin pumunta sa France ng sabay para mag start ng life together).

Hello! From what i remember 1 lang. french govt always give back kasi the original. But i still requested 3 copies (and brought them here in france). But yeah every time i pass it, they just give it back 🤣

-Should I put my fiancé's place of residence in France po ba? We're living together since Philippines has opened the border (February 2022- he's holding a tourist visa) or

Unfortunately, Hindi ko po alam ang procedure for dutch nationalities pero with french citizens po, you need to prove your relationship to the embassy by providing photos together and yung iba po may interview pa. So i’m not sure pano po yun if first time pa lang magmeet. Baka need nyo po ipakita conversations nyo etc dahil ldr naman :)
Pwede naman magpakasal sa dutch national same sister ko almost the same this vlog mayor din sila and now andito sila sa pinas nkatira

Hi! My husband has that. He did register to the embassy online when he moved to the philippines before. But i dont remember that being required of us during the process. You can easily get it online right? Just get it if they require :)

Hi! I think he has to be the one to request po the legal capacity, di lang ako sure if need in person. Baka best na tawagan nya or iemail directly yung embassy in manila to confirm :)

What if his not in manila can his still get that capacity of no married from his country and just bring it here with him?
Hello! Im not super sure but in taguig the requirement stated that it has to come from the embassy in the Philippines.

Getting married in the Philippines as a foreigner well absolutely test whether or not you're in love with that Filipina to go through all the red tape to Philippines requires to get married. The first 5 years your marriage no matter what you go through you'll always think of nothing can be worse than all that junk we had to do to get married LOL

Hi Charly! First of all, congrats on your engagement! For CENOMAR itself, you just need to get it from PSA (PH). However, you will also need to get the CCAM (certificat de capacite de mariage) which is similar to the CENOMAR in PH from the French Embassy. Sorry I know the video is long HAHA but I’ve discussed this on the video (you can jump to 3:43 to see how to get this document).

Maybe you or you husband know if a déclaration d'hébergement sur l'honneur can works ? . @@charlydread2136 thanks too! ☺️ If you live in the Philippines, you’ll just have to show them proof that you live there. In my husband’s case, he was working there at the time of our wedding so he showed his ACR.

I don't have any proof to living here I guess , only on my passport my address it's from Philippines , cuz I renewed my passport to the French Embassy . Hopefully someone of the embassy will answering to my questions , but they don't look in hurry
@@charlydread2136 hmm ok. How about any bills under your name with a PH address? Maybe if you are renting out, the contract under your name will suffice. Otherwise if you are living with someone, ask them to write an attestation for you? At least that’s what I did here in France when I first got here and have no proof of address (I asked my husband’s mom to write that I live with in her house) and it’s accepted by the french government. I’m just guessing here though but might be helpful.
As for the embassy, yes. They will take forever to reply. That’s why we always called and emailed them, almost everyday. If you are really in a hurry, you should do the same. Otherwise it will take you a year to finish the papers. They told us at first that the normal process will take a year, a year and a half. But we pushed them a looooot and we managed to do it in 5 months. So it’s possible if you push! :)
Mam, good pm po. May problem po kami ng British fiancé ko. May marriage license na po kami pero yung Hall of Justice namin dito sa Mandaue City, Cebu City at Lapulapu City ayaw tanggapin yung affidavit na based sa UK embassy na template. @@NicolasFamAdventures opo, dito po sa Phils issued ang license namin. Yung affidavit of marital status po, yan kasi yung sabi ni embassy na kailangan lang ng partner ko to get married, d na raw yung legal capacity kasi d na sila nagbibigay nun ngayon.

Yup! You can just write an authorisation letter for the person who’s gonna process it on your behalf.
@@NicolasFamAdventures so for the appointment just send them email right. Appointment is base on our preferred date n time? Or are they the one who will assign the date and time when I can come ?
@@antzcloset you’ll have to check them for available dates and then you normally choose from those. And yes, email last time i did it. Not sure if they changed the process this year.

Kung taga san po kayo, dun po kayo dapat magapply ng license. Pero valid po ito kahit saan sa pinas :)

Hello! Yes if you’re getting married in PH, i’m assuming he also needs to get the CCAM in the french embassy in Manila but better for him to check directly with the embassy para sure. But in my experience kasi ang nakalagay sa requirements namin ay CCAM coming from embassy in PH. The other requirements like cenomar and birth certificate, im 100% sure kailangan din nya

Hello! If you plan to register your marriage in france and move here eventually, i think you should do the process as if he’s french :)
I am dual citizen din, Filipino American. Parang ang tingin nila sakin ay foreigner na puro. So I just treated everything as if I am an American citizen. My U.S birth cert., but I also have to use my Dual citizen certificate as well as I.D as it does speed things up quite quickly.
I have been searching for so long for anyone like me being dual citizen and never came across anything but it is pretty much the same. Get your CENOMAR online as well. Our Municipality is pretty cool as most people here have known me since I was a child. They say each Municipality is different. Hopefully your journey to marriage will be even more successful than mines! 😀

Hi! If he’s a resident in france, yes. But for my video, we got married in the Philippines so please dont get confused! The process will be different :)

@@joyminh Hi! Because of Brexit, british nationals need visa to enter France. If your fiancé is a resident in France, I think you can apply for a visa to visit him. If not and you’re just planning to go to France as a tourist, I’m not sure they issue that now because of covid unless you are full vaccinated.
