Thank you for this video, I have been rattling my brain on this issue. Every time I drove my 94 impala, I would hear a rattle but when I applied the brakes I wouldn’t hear it. Thank you so much I’m going to tackle this first thing in the morning. I really appreciate it.
thanks a lot!! i fixed the brake pads on my 1986 chevy caprice using your tutorial! :D worked like a charme, although i had to press the brake cylinder with a gripper

Thanks for the video. I have a 96 Buick Roadmaster and I intend to upgrade the brakes. The idea is to replace the front brake calipers for a bigger one. Do you know if the 96 Impala SS has a bigger caliper than the one used in the Roadmaster?
very helpful video thanks. but where can I find those pads? I went to the ac delco site and they dont have those exact pads so is the dealership the onlt way?

I think I'm missing the small pin that goes on the break pad to help center it on the caliper. The new breaks I bought did not come with new ones.
Did not know the hammer trick I have chattering on my 85 front brakes same setup
Nice video but wish you showed what yoi actually bent with thr hammer and where to hit. That's the key part and wasn't filmed.
So you didnt repack the bearings or resurface the rotors??? Good job mr ase. Haha
What if my piston isn’t pushed back? Does the car need to be in neutral?
do you spray lube prior to disassembly
Thanks 👍💯
back of the bolts are not sliding, you gotta lube those little sliding pin inside the caliper ear,and pack the bearings!!
Hey. A mechanic that doesn't have to use an air ratchet on everything.
3/8 Allen type what?
The head of the bolt takes a 3/8 allen wrench
😨oh no u dropped one screw almost at the end that's a new screw u have to buy 😁😄😄😄✌😀🍻😁
quick way isnt the best way mr mechanic
