The first time I saw Elvis Costello and the Attractions was in 1978 at UCSB's Robertson Gym. Mink DeVille opened up, then Nick Lowe was suppose to be the second act, but the bus that he was on broke down in Oxnard, so he couldn't be there to preform. The second time I saw E. C. and the A's was at the Arlington Theater, but for some reason E. C. became really pissed and he and the A's walked off the stage. They only played for about 30 or 40 minutes. The third and last time I saw E. C. and the A's was about 1982 at the Santa Barbara County Bowl. The English Beat opened up, then it was E. C. and the A's, then The Clash. That was a fantastic concert. In this concert footage looks like the original drummer of the A's. Just much older of course. We all get there as time goes on if we live that long. I am 68, not too sure if I make it to 69 next year.
No idea ......A classic track by a legend ,first song up at a live gig before they've warmed up , no auto tune and i'd say no backing tracks either ......You've just embarrassed yourself with your obvious ignorance .... 😀

What a fantastic talent, unlike the 5hite these days.
Them were the day`s .
I guess you had to be there
Sloppy
Disappointing
Shame he forgot how to keep time with age
what a mess
Gosh, that wasn't good at all.
Wasn't he vaguely relevant . . . about 40 years ago? Just another geriatric nostalgia act. Sad.
One day, if you're lucky, you will be old. Have some respect for people still trying their best to make a living.

He's only one of the Greatest songwriters ever. head and shoulders above anyone under 50 with at least a 100 plus terrific songs.
Okay, kid, I hear you. You're promising that in 40 years you will refuse to go see any musician who you like today.
