- We continue cruising Newfoundland's Fjord Coast with stunning landscapes, lots of wilderness and solitude, and small towns with wonderful people. We encounter some pilot whales and ocean sunfish offshore, gather the last of the season's cloudberries on some great hikes, and hit a Come Home festival.

I lived in Newfoundland for 6 years (1973 - '79) on the Burin Peninsula (east of here, in this video), and I never had any idea that the south coast was this gorgeous!

I am from hare bay and i dont think you are in hare bay lol, ive spent plenty of days out in boat and i dont recognize any of these areas lol but i do believe you are near harbor breton
We have noticed in our travels that place names associated with the water are frequently duplicated. For example I know there is a Hare Bay on the east side of Newfoundland near Gambo. Perhaps that is the Hare Bay you know. The Hare Bay we were in is on the southwest coast. It is named Hare Bay on the marine charts but is unnamed on Google Maps. There may even be more than two Hare Bays in Newfoundland - that wouldn't be too surprising.
I’m thinking about if I should carry a inflatable boat with my RV to Newfoundland ? Is there any public boats launch available? Thanks? Boats launch friendly for tourists?
Good question. We didn't really see any though a few come up on Google.
I am from newfoundland, it all depends where you plan on traveling really, but for the most part, there are plenty of boat launches here but be very careful of pot holes in small communities. I hope you have fun when you arrive :) it truly is a beautiful place
At .36 behind your wife's head the cave if you go back would ever check it out ?
Maybe! Conditions would have to be right as it could be difficult to land ashore there. The wall looks near vertical and I see a waves breaking there at 0:30 and 0:37.
