I love the zipper’s product. I have the zipper 472 in my big bore 122ci and I am so excited to get my bike back and see what numbers I get on this build. I also can’t wait to feel the thundermax tuner in this set up and see where I get. Keep up the great teamwork giving us the best of our two wheel harleys
all the smiles prove that you are happy with the build and when it comes down to it that's all that matters, not the big numbers, or the cost, just what puts that smile on your face
This needs more views. This and some other videos is why I’m only taking my Road Glide Limited to a 122” sleeper. If I hit high 130s tq/hp, good enough for me.
Outstanding upgrades! Now enjoy your amazing bike. Hopefully I will be in your territory next month when my Road Glide Special gets here. Be safe brother
I still would have gone with the S&S Cam Plate and oil pump, granted its more expensive. That evolutions industries clutch basked is $850.00 but looks like its well worth it. I am still loving my RS 468 cam in my 114.
All of those items are great, but I wouldn't call all of them "absolutely necessary". Coil and plug wires??? And I hope he mean compensator when he said motor sprocket. Anyway, nice build!
Really enjoyed this video in particular!!!...1st...the kid in the candy store expression while bike was on the dyno!!! 2nd The appreciation shown towards the crew @zippers who have had a long lasting reputation on building reliability in a power engine build!!! 3rd the list of components along with the price of the work you had done...now it isnt cheap..but you really never have to buy another Harley ever for the sake of a reliable daily rider that will last decades. Thanks for the great content you provided Appreciate ya!!!...now about that 124-131 twincam retro build you're planning??? 😁😁😁😁
Thanks for the information. I’m upgrading to a Sleeper 124, need the Bandit clutch and the AIM. I already have the RS468 kit in. I appreciate your sharing the information. Hopefully this will be it for me with the Sleeper 124, or maybe not🙂!!!
The 517 Cam in my 131 HD is still pulling at 5000 rpm it’s almost broken in I am curious where it stops breathing at providing I don’t get caught spending
Great video and very nice bike and build. Zipper's did not believe it was necessary to upgrade and/or blueprint your crankcase? Was that discussed at all? Thanks.
Good morning Tall, I'm a big fan! Is it possible for you to share the cost of such a needed upgrade for the m8 107. I appreciate any help you can provide.
Welcome to the world of belt shredding , isolator destroying and axel bending , your only need so much HP for performance the rest is only for bragging enjoy and ride safe
@@TravelingTall Real talk, we know its bilt to ride, that goes without saying. But at the end of the day, how much do u really need! I believe and you gotta know that this is definitely a conversation build, bragging rights, so when you're standing around smiling, u can point at someone else's bike and ask, how much HP/TQ are u making? Knowing in the back of your mind, mine makes more. It's silly man. Gotta keep up with the Jones's I guess.. My bike makes 155 sq, and I feel like I actually liked it better when it was 136/146. Much more streetable and ran cooler.
The key to keep your big bore build cooler is ceramic coating. I didn't mention that in the video but my heads and pistons are ceramic coated. That will be in an upcoming video. What size kit do you have on your bike?
@@TravelingTall it's a Blueprinted 128. Stroker crank with branch/o'Keefe head work, S&S 550 cam. D&D Xcat exhaust. Bulletproof primary. I would like to look into this ceramic coating. I've been hearing about this.
Hey tall how much does that 124 muscle kit cost I have a 2017 Harley limited Milwaukee 8 stock and I want to build it like yours what is the dollar value get back at me man
Good information. Some of the H-D bikes with the M8 engines have one rotor up front. Doubling the HP / torque I think I would upgrade the braking as well.
I keep thinking that you might need to upgrade your transmission/compensator. It doesn't seem that the stock trans or compensator can handle that much power over a period of time. Just my 2 cents...
So you trailered your road glide to MD to have Zipper installed the 124 muscle ? Did Zipper sponsor your build on did you pay for this out of your own pocket and is the MD location the only place where zipper located
These guys are very knowledgeable. but the spark discussion was inaccurate. Better plug wires don't make bigger or better spark. As long as the wire isn't too small for the application there is no difference. They may last longer and may deal with temp better. But mainly they look cool. Larger coils increase voltage. correct. The reason to increase voltage is to increase the plug gap. They can sometimes help when the motor has "unexpected" running conditions the stock coil may not have been able to deal with on a modified engine or when increasing compression it can help. All that being said, i have mad respect for these guys and think they do good work.
Super Heavy cruisers are just too heavy. Lightening the bike with aluminum and carbon fiber helps handling, braking, and performance. If you really want a muscle bike buy an exclusive Rocket 3, Ducati Xdiavel s, or Yamaha Vmax with a V4. All are lighter than a Harley and no stage 4 or big bore needed. All come with QUICKSHIFTERS
I had a completely tricked out VMAX and it was a fun bike. However, my Street Glide has a completely different feel and I actually prefer the Big Bore Street Glide at this stage of my riding carrier. The torque characteristics of the Big Bore HD make me smile without without pushing the RPM's to the moon like I did on the VMAX. The Street Glide is also a bike that I can ride across the country in comfort and the VMAX was a couple hours at a time.
I'll stick with my Harley-Davidson. The only one out of those I like is the Duc, but it's not even the same type of bikes. The Harley-Davidson Street Glide is a touring bike. If we are just naming bikes thats faster, what about the live wire?
How do I get this upgrade in California??

Stay blessed and always rubber side down shinny side up🤘

Well....I'm a dum dum.....in previous video I was surprised it didn't mention drive line upgrades....I shot off at the mouth too quick
Those are some great numbers. Congratulations.
Thank you. Thanks for watching.
Awesome video man. Keep it up! Love your experience
This needs more views. This and some other videos is why I’m only taking my Road Glide Limited to a 122” sleeper. If I hit high 130s tq/hp, good enough for me.
Comprehensive. This level of build requires many components. Not just the engine. I'm confident you'll be very happy with the results.
I am. It just keeps on pulling. The sleeper had power but the muscle is monster. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Awesome video as usual. Your bike sounds awesome !
I would be very interested to see a total cost involved video.
Gives me hope for the 107 in my 2017 RoadGlide Ultra. Thanks for sharing...

Ride on my brotha!!!!

Never mind about the transmission question
I would enjoy hearing from your Dad and Uncle more.

Ol boy didnt want to let that ignition coil go lol

What size engine did you start with
how does a build like that cost
Man I really need to see these guys Tall. They are only 35 miles from my house.
You should, they do great work. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I just put a 468 in mine. I really wish I coulda shipped the boys out and had them do the install!
A 468 is a good cam. You can make great numbers from just a cam upgrade.
Love your videos keep them coming, On Earls bike witch tuner is he using ?
ThunderMax. Plays well with RDRS.
This is exciting. Now for the next step - how does it feel on the ride?

100 HP and roughly 150 TQ @3500 is awesome

@@TravelingTall Thank you. The video you referenced above is excellent. A lot of great products and time went into the build of your bike.
Tall can you do a video on older evo motor upgrades please and thank you.
Great video as always tall, what head pipe are you running and what baffle is in your 4.5 KW mufflers
Good morning Tall, I'm a big fan! Is it possible for you to share the cost of such a needed upgrade for the m8 107. I appreciate any help you can provide.
Now Tall do Zippers work on other bikes or just sell the products.
That big dip early in the tq curve is pretty bad. I'd be getting different head pipes or a 2-1.
Was thinking the same thing.
Why can’t there be any shops like this closer to home.....
👍💯 Thanks for watching
I believe that you said that they removed the counter balancer. If so, does your bike have more noticeable shake now?
I'd be interested in why he wouldn't have used a s&s cam plate and pump
Wow! That new clutch basket is almost too pretty to put in the bike. Almost.
Lol that's what I thought. Thanks for watching and commenting.

I'm surprised he didn't say upgrade to a dark horse compensator....the stock one won't last.

Personally I want a 2022 RK special and that 131 kit . Now the thought of never used internal parts being removed ?????? I'd have to save my parts

What all did you have to change from the sleeper to the muscle?
How much did that up grade cost?
How much was that muscle build including labor . What happen to your 124 parts , them parts had alot more wear to go didn't they .
You should race against blockheads goldzilla
He has a fast bike! Making good power.
Move from a stage 8 to a stage 10

Try riding any of those on a 6k trip...
When you try to do "close-ups" and get good focus,
Stop bouncing around, in/out with the item so much.
The camera can't keep up and doesn't focus.
