This channel is all about TMJ disorders - what they are, how they manifest, what to do about them and how they relate to other issues that may be going unnoticed in the body such as tongue tie, sleep apnea, ADHD, and more! Thank you and I hope you enjoy my videos! - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
I’m so thankful to you for making these videos! You give me so much hope that I can overcome my pain!
I’m so glad to hear that! Don’t forget to Subscribe 😊🙏🏼
This was really nice to listen to I think I discovered what I been suffering from the last 2 years. Tmd pain
Sorry you’re experiencing TMD pain!
Tumeric can be really helpful too. I started drinking golden milk tea before bed and it's lowered signs of immflamation.
I love turmeric!!! Being Indian, I get a lot of this in my food 😊
Can you mix it with something other than milk? Drinking milk grossed me out.
I have bruxism and now I take 800mg of liquid ionic magnesium (REMAG) and wow what a difference.
Magnesium is amazing!
i read a rat study that omega 3 can help with condylar resorption(very female oriented terrifying shrinking of jaw) more like the long chain ones typically found in fish like dha, it lowers prostaglandins and by that inflammation, anti inflammation in general is very good
but on topic of video i think magnesium can help with about everything and it also lowers stress which is very important for most ppl with tmj who clench, although i must say i do think glycinate is the best form of magnesium is very good
for women i think its important to have a diet that helps hormone production be good to avoid imbalances..
i even think wearing 100% cotton underwear will help with tmj long term since its been shown in female dogs that polyester underwear lowers progesterone
those are a few things i found about diet/environment effect on tmj
Thanks for this information!!
Hi! I looked into this product, however, I live in Canada. Do you have any other Canadian brands that you'd recommend? Thanks!
I don’t know any Canadian brands - sorry! I do think MiGuard is really good.

That's really interesting,, thanks Doc,, I used to take it,,then forgot.
Hello ma'am, I had an MRI scan and X-ray done for my temporal joints. Everything came out normal, but I still have the same symptoms: pain while eating, quite a bit of pain in my jaw, neck, and temporal region, and sometimes eye pain. I don't know what to do. Please help me.🙏💖😔
I’m sorry but I can’t help you over the internet and without examining you! Best of luck to you 😊🙏🏼
Magnesium oil topically to the face, could have the same results?
I don't think topical magnesium will be as effective as capsules or tablets.
Is there anything you’d recommend physical therapists explore regarding exercise or tissue work to better assist this population?
Yes! I'd recommend taking some courses by Dr. Mariano Rocabado. My mentor was able to learn a lot from him!
Is a lot of calcium in the blood a symptom of magnesium deficiency? My calcium levels are pretty high and I don't know why
It’s best to ask your doctor this question. Sorry but I don’t know the answer.
how is magnesium bis glycinate ? the one you suggested is really good, i think vit d and k are also important but i dont know how much of vit K is needed
It's good!
how much magnesium should we take daily then because I take it already 🤔
I say the recommended daily doses in the video :) please watch for your answers.
I watched the video and couldn't find the recommended dosage in mg. form.
I see it contains vitamin d3. Would it be safe to take if I already take a vitamin d2 weekly pill 50,000iu
I'd recommend that you check with your primary care physician :)
Thanks ❤
You’re welcome!
hi! I have a question. Can you take any magnesium?
You can, but I like this one! :)
Would this be an alternative to Ligaplex II or in addition to? Thanks!
Ligaplex is more for clicking and popping and the CalMag is more for pain 😊
can i take magnesium glycinate for tmj and muscle spasm? I couldnt find magnesium malate in my area
I believe the answer is yes, but it's best to ask your doctor.
I was told by ND (naturopatic doctor that magnesium and calcium should never be taken together). I am confused
Oh wow! All the naturopaths I know (I know 5!) day the opposite 😳
Suggest please some good naturopath
I suspect what your naturopath means is that they should not be taken at the same time because they compete for absorption in the intestines. It's also possible that he or she isn't a fan because most people are deficient in magnesium but get abundant calcium from the diet (especially if you consume lots of dairy). I would argue that magnesium should be prioritised
thanks ma'am for this good information
You’re welcome!!
Don't forget the tooth as well
Sorry.. I don’t understand this comment?
I would like to order the calcium supplements

What about if you have a set of molars extracted on one side and that's the same side as my TMJD. I went to a TMJ doctor and they said adding implants on that side would not fix the issue sine it would change my bite.
OK - do you have a specific question?
@@theTMJdoc Are they correct that adding missing molars will not correct a TMJD issue?
@@weiss27md yes likely that won’t help.
Doc I took magnesium glycinate for just a week with calcium and it got me periods twice in that month & that too heavily the other time. Even though I took single pill per day 😭
Sorry to hear that!
What’s the difference between TMJ and TMD?
TMJ = Temporomandibular Joint
TMD = Temporomandibular Disorder
