    Tumeric can be really helpful too. I started drinking golden milk tea before bed and it's lowered signs of immflamation.

      Can you mix it with something other than milk? Drinking milk grossed me out.

    i read a rat study that omega 3 can help with condylar resorption(very female oriented terrifying shrinking of jaw) more like the long chain ones typically found in fish like dha, it lowers prostaglandins and by that inflammation, anti inflammation in general is very good
    but on topic of video i think magnesium can help with about everything and it also lowers stress which is very important for most ppl with tmj who clench, although i must say i do think glycinate is the best form of magnesium is very good
    for women i think its important to have a diet that helps hormone production be good to avoid imbalances..
    i even think wearing 100% cotton underwear will help with tmj long term since its been shown in female dogs that polyester underwear lowers progesterone
    those are a few things i found about diet/environment effect on tmj

    Hello ma'am, I had an MRI scan and X-ray done for my temporal joints. Everything came out normal, but I still have the same symptoms: pain while eating, quite a bit of pain in my jaw, neck, and temporal region, and sometimes eye pain. I don't know what to do. Please help me.🙏💖😔

      I don't think topical magnesium will be as effective as capsules or tablets.

    I was told by ND (naturopatic doctor that magnesium and calcium should never be taken together). I am confused

    • @theTMJdoc
      @theTMJdoc  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh wow! All the naturopaths I know (I know 5!) day the opposite 😳

      Suggest please some good naturopath

    • @E3lx
      @E3lx ปีที่แล้ว

      I suspect what your naturopath means is that they should not be taken at the same time because they compete for absorption in the intestines. It's also possible that he or she isn't a fan because most people are deficient in magnesium but get abundant calcium from the diet (especially if you consume lots of dairy). I would argue that magnesium should be prioritised

    What about if you have a set of molars extracted on one side and that's the same side as my TMJD. I went to a TMJ doctor and they said adding implants on that side would not fix the issue sine it would change my bite.
