Surveillance is THE slept-on perk. It's got good value ever since the regression rework, and combining it with oppression, ruin, or pain res makes for some great information on what to pressure.

Remember, before the gen wouldn't actually regress at all from a kick, that was something added around the same time as the tap change. Now, if the gen turns yellow you know that someone is actively on it and committing to it.
It's a perk that only really works if you pair it with certain other things. Ruin use to be one of the best perks to pair with it but its to easy to loss and I'm not sure if it works with the legions ire addon
I use oppression and surveillance on nemesis, in addition to zombies finding survivors, i can consistently pinpoint survivor locations throughout the match, nice to see it used well on other killers!
Dredge feels way better now I loved him before and now he's a legit main of mine. I love running Sloppy, BBQ, surge and mindbreaker on Dredge if you play your cards right you can keep the team perma injured. Plus bringing boat key and another add-on to buff the nightfall charge rate just makes dredge a menace.
That's a fun, solid build. For his 2nd addon, try the Ottomarian Writing. Half of that addon became base kit but it's still so powerful on Dredge so I hate taking it off.
@@TheScreamMachine it's not for the fact they won't regress. It's that with other perks, at 3 gens(especially with something like starstruck) he has more leeway to continue a chase because if he gets the down, survivors trying to work on another one of the 3 gens will get kicked off AND blocked just by him sending a guard on it. Starstruck keeps other survivors from helping off the hook longer, ruin is just genuinely good early game pressure, dead man's gives guards extreme pressure by forcing survivors to get off and block the gen, and something like maybe barbecue, gearhead, or surveillance just gives him positioning info on where to rotate or send his guards once dead man's is up. It's a serious problem. Idk I can't personally say it's game breaking, but it seems like the only time I've seen knights lose with something like that now is when all the survivors get toolboxes for end game. My four man SWF needed to search chests just to burst a single gen after one of us distracted him long enough, and even then we still almost were forced to get off due to a guard coming to force a dead man's block.
@@EchoTH-cam So there's a bunch of good perks on this build, but they just don't synergize well together. Ruin is good for getting s bit of regression in while you chase off of gens, but gets turned off by DMS, and at that point the survivor, with nothing else to do, might do your totem since they can't work on the gen. Also without any protection on ruin it'll likely get cleansed quickly and you're not a perk down with nothing to show for it. While I love Starstruck, it is just a bad perk on knight since you should be getting some number of hits with your power and the guards won't down full health exposed survivors. Survivors who are exposed are going to play stealthier too, which once again might translate to cleansing a totem. DMS, bbq, pain res, surveil will be a much stronger surveil build for kicking off gens and getting snipes with the knight, or alternately ruin, surveil, Pentimento, and either undying or plaything will give you more passive slowdown and information.
