    AEV's Premium Front Bumper is built to withstand all the rigors of off road use, while maintaining a stylish and sophisticated appearance. The Front Bumper's full width design, integrated grille and radiator guard and optional Skid Plate offer superior front end protection from rocks and brush without compromising approach angle. The standard heavy duty, chassis mounted tow points and optional Winch Mount will help get you out of trouble, but still look good doing it.
    Our Premium Front Bumper includes auxiliary light mounts and factory fog light mounts. The OE crush cans are retained to help correct low speed air bag deployment. It also receives an OE-grade two stage paint process to protect your bumper from the elements. As the industry's only stamped steel bumper, AEV's Premium Front Bumper offers unparalleled protection and styling.

    Awesome instructions, I'm going to put my AEV Premium front bumper today. I just finished installing the AEV rear bumper yesterday. A video similar to this for the rear bumper would help a lot. Thanks!

    Thank you for that installation video. I am super happy with the bumper for years. And so it is also helpful to see the steps once more before i take it of to change the broken winch.

    Great instructions except for one detail. He says to install the fairlead bolts before installing the winch but didn't do it in the video at that step of the process. I missed this step and let me tell you, it's a major challenge to get those bolts in at the end of the installation with the winch in the way.

    6:18 Insert the Short M8 button head bolt in the right side upper inner location. The video seems to show them inserting a bolt in the left side upper inner location. Is that my right or your right? That doesn't seem confusing at all. Is it the right side when you're facing the bumper, or is it really the left side as shown in the video?

    I have the factory aev bumper without the tube on my wrangler winter edition. It rocks. Can I install the evo 10s without having to cut the old vacuum bracket and relocating the vacuum pump or is this necessary?

    Am I able to install a 13.5" light bar in replacement to the off road lights/light brackets?

    • @AmericanExpeditionVehicles
      @AmericanExpeditionVehicles  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Of course! You can fit up to the size of a 20" light bar but it varies by brand so you may need to test a little.

    Are you guys selling the tow loops? Looking for an alternative to the stock hooks. Thanks.

      Our recovery points are part of our bumper system. The only way to get them would be purchasing and installing the front and rear bumpers.

    why not stubby bumper ?

    • @rednroll1
      @rednroll1 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +leroidezastah
      I believe that is because AEV's products are about maintaining a stock look, rated at or above stock specs. A stubby bumper wouldn't fit into those classifications.

    ARB bar is far easier to install

    • @AmericanExpeditionVehicles

      We like to take pride in the fact that our bumper was the first aftermarket stamped steel front bumper, it is the only aftermarket JK bumper that meets OEM crash test ratings, implemented crash cans, radiator protection and more. Install is straight forward however some assembly of the bumper is required.

      Matt Thew I'm with you. I also like how the ARB has the winch plate and recovery points welded into the bumper making it all one piece. I do like the look of the AEV but the their prices are way to high especially when compared to the ARB. In response to AEVs comment, there is a video I saw from ARB claiming that they maintain oem safety ratings by re using the factory crush cans from the stock bumper.

      Totally agree there is way to much cutting involved with this bumper. ARB is also compatible with OEM crash and airbags, and they don't rust. I've seen several AEV bumpers factory installed on the Oscar Mike edition already showing signs of rust while still in the lot
